House Nalor of Esteroazul is a Great House of Westeros. Their lands stretch from Blazewater Bay to the Swamplands, which border the North and the Riverlands. Their seat is Esteroazul, located in Esteport, a port city on the coast of Cape Kracken and south of Blazewater Bay.

Their sigil is a Merman on a blue sea with a silver sky. This originates from the tale of Nalos the Sailor, battling the scaled monster in the sea during a stormy night that turned the sky a deep silver. Their house words also have a similar origin, as Naros the Sailor said as they settled and conquered the Swamplands, "Desde las profundidades, nos levantamos," or "From the depths, we rise."

⎯⎯ ᪤ 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲.

House Nalor was founded by the conqueror Nalos the Sailor, who was said to be from lands far west of Westeros. He was a seasoned fighter and said to be the most valiant explorer of his time. During the age of heroes, he and a group of two hundred men, women, and children sailed east, seeking to Establish a settlement. They settled on the coast of what they named Cape Kraken and Blazewater Bay, and using the resources at their disposal, they built a small community, eventually establishing the city of Esteport. For Nalos, his wife Lucia, and his three daughters, Reina, Grisela, and Jesenia, he commissioned the building of a sizable cozy palace, which he named the Esteroazul.

As Esteport and Esteroazul were being built, Nalos and thirty of his men sought to explore the lands East and South of Cape Kraken. There, he discovered the swamplands, which he claimed to be his. Before his death, his people declared Nalos as their ruler, and he eventually ruled as the King of the Dreadlands.

After Nalos's death, his Daughter Reina assumed his position as ruler. Grisela and Jessi sought to explore more of the unfamiliar land of Westeros, so they went North, where they encountered the Starks and northern men. Their visit established good faith with House Stark. On the contrary, their neighbors, the Ironborn, despised the newcomers due to their foreign nature. This prompted numerous attacks and raid attempts, which Grisela and her men were able to defeat, leading to her being nicknamed Grisela the Brave.

     With the arrival of the Andals and the Eyrie settlement, their ruler, Rafael, demonstrated the house's adaptability and openness to change. He embraced more Westerosi and Andal traditions, proclaiming himself King and adopting their naming customs and knighthood traditions. This marked a significant shift in the house's identity, showing its adaptability. They renamed their lands the Tierra.

The house was renamed Nalor, a fusion of Nalos and sailor, paying homage to the brave man who brought them to Westeros. To honor the sea, a child born into House Nalor will be given a name that starts with "S." With the establishment of House Nalor, vassal lords were appointed and sent to establish new cities for their houses, ushering in a new era in the house's history.

During the War of Conquest, House Nalor choose to declare neutrality. However, they were attacked by the Targaryen forces after the Battle of Gulltown, as they tried to make House Nalor submit. House nalor and its vassal lords used their knowledge of the Swamplands and Blazewater to their advantage and almost defeated the Targaryen forces. However, when Rhaenys and her dragon Meraxes arrived, King Siras was forced to bend the knee to Aegon to save his people from unnecessary bloodshed.

He was made Lord of the Tierra and Warden of the Swamplands. With this action, House Nalor and House Targaryen have remained allied and faithful to each other. From this moment forward, with exceptional military and sea power and home to rich resources, House Nalor became one of the great houses of Westeros.

⎯⎯ ᪤ 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬.

Due to their foreign ancestry and appearances, those born into House nalor and its Vassal Houses are often called Tierran. They are usually described as exotic, with full lips, high cheekbones, voluminous dark-colored hair, and a fair to tan olive skin tone.

However, House Nalor deviates from this trend. The Nalors are said to have rich, fiery auburn hair that catches and illuminates in the sun, accompanied by varying sizes of chunks of white hair. Their eyes were a rich, amber yellow, which mirrored those of dragons and creatures of high tales. Their skin was relatively fair, with olive undertones. They have a lean and athletic build and are said to stand taller than most men.

Their looks are attributed to the magic west of Westeros, or potentially Nalos The Sailor's blood coming from mystical creatures. Each generation stemming from Nalos possesses these characteristics, which are a testament to the unbroken line of succession and unity within the House.

Each child born of House Nalor is given a name that begins with "S."

⎯⎯ ᪤ 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬.

Before the arrival of the Andals, the Nalori commonly spoke a language called Ardhesian, which is the mother tongue of where House Nalors' ancestors are from. They also spoke the common tongue, which was less used in their territories. After the Andals arrived, speaking the common tongue was preferred; thus, fewer people learned how to speak Ardhesian. In the city of Esteroazul, it is still widely spoken and used, and most noble family members are required to be fluent.

Contrary to public belief throughout Westeros, the Tierran's do not worship Sea Monsters but instead worship an ancient god from their ancestors called The One That Sees All.

The One That Sees All is said to be the god of Justice. It's believers who practice a system of "Karma." Good deeds and good intentions are rewarded, while bad and unjust ones are punished. The karma built in your lifetime follows your soul to the next life and dictates how you will be treated and your ultimate fate.
