MADDOX DEAN-VALANCE - troublemaker extraordinaire - had a list of things to complete before the end of her fifth year. She was going to set up her best friend with George Weasley because she had been pining over him for too long now, find the identity of her birth father (and hopefully even meet him), and pass Ghoul Studies which was too hard of a class.

Now, none of these things included helping resident pretty boy Cedric Diggory with whatever problems going on in his life. Unfortunately, he didn't get the memo about that when they accidentally meet in a broom closet on the first night of school. So now Maddox' life is plagued with Cedric following her like a lost puppy even though she had tried to lose him on many occasions, all the whispers about their relationship (even though it's nonexistent), and finding that her birth father isn't all that she thought he would be.
