Prince Benjamin, better known as Ben, was staring out the window looking at the Isle of the Lost with a unreadable expression as Lumiere was doing the measurents for his suit for the upcoming Coronation.

" Sleeve, head." Lumiere said as Queen Belle and King Adam walked in to his chambers, Ben went to step off of the platform but stopped as Lumiere scolded him.

" How is it possible that your going to be crowned King next month? You're just a baby." Adam said. Belle looked up at him with a small smile and patted his chest. " He's turning 16 dear."

" Hey pops," Ben tried to get his attention, but that didn't work out that well considering Adam continued to not listen to him or maybe he wasn't catching on.

" 16? That's far to young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42." Adam said. Belle looked up at him  bit offended. " Uh, you didn't decide to marry me until 28." She said with a scoff.

" It was either you or the teapot." King Adam told his wife as he sent a wink to his eldest son way. He quickly said, " Kidding." after seeing the look Belle had given him.

" Mom, dad, " Ben started to say again, forgetting that he was on the stoole he went to step off when Lumiere stopped him. " Ah! " he said and Ben stayed on the platform.

" I've chosen my first proclamation as king." Ben continued saying. His parents shared a look with each other, happy and a bit shock that he had made his first decision as becoming king. " I've decided that the children of the Isle of the lost should to be given a chance to live here... in Auradon."

His parents stare at him with shock, his mother letting out a gasp, dropping  Ben's jacket she was folding onto the floor. " Every time I look out at the Island I feel like they've been abandoned. " He continued as he finally stepped off of the stool and walked to stand in front of his parents.

" The children of our sworn enemies? Living among us?" his father asked in disbelief.

" We start out with a few at first, " Ben stated. " Only the ones that needs our help the most...I already chosen them."

His mom nodded along, seeming more okay with this decision than his father was. " Have you?" His father asked. You could tell that he was getting angry by the tone of his voice and you never wanted to be around him when he was angry.

Belle looked up at her husband lovingly putting a hand on his arm. " I gave you a second chance." she said before looking at Ben. " Who're there parents?"

"  Cruella De Vill, Jafar, The Evil Queen, and, " he paused before saying the last one, afraid of his parents reaction. " Maleficent." he finally said, wincing at the reactions his parents gave

Lumiere gasped hearing Maleficent's name and Adam yelled at his son. " Maleficent!? She is the worst villain in the land!"

" Dad, just hear me out. " Ben butted in, trying to get his father to see that these children aren't as bad as their parents are or at least try to get his father to listen to him.

" I won't hear of it! They are guilty of unspeakable crimes!" Adam continued to yell.

" Dad, their children are innocent. " Ben spoke softly, looking up at his father. " Dad, don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?" After a moment of silence his shoulders started to slump hating to believe that his father might not let him do this. " Dad?"

Adam glanced over at Belle who gave him a look and nodded. Adam sighed and looked back at his son. " I suppose their children are innocent. " Belle smiled at her son proudly after a moment of silence she said, " Well done. "

" Shall we?" She said to her husband once she turned to face him. Adam nodded and the two began walking out of Ben's chambers but Belle suddenly stopped, remembering something. " Oh, Ben, have you seen your brother?"

Ben shook his head, even though he knows that his younger brother is at his hideout more than likely. " Well, if you would, please check on him. I haven't seen him all day and I've been worried about him." Belle said with a frown.

Ben nodded. " Yeah, I'll check on him."

Meanwhile, on the beach of the borders of the Island, Alex was indeed in his hideout which is just a shack. He and his brother built it when they were younger and made it their own hideout. His brother hasn't bothered to visit the shack at all ever since they became teenagers. He then decided to make it his own considering his bother wouldn't be hanging out with him anytime soon. It didn't look like it did when he and his brother first built it, it took a lot of time and effort but it was worth it in the end.

No one knows where it is expect his brother, Luna - the daughter of Lumiere and Fifi, Corey - the son of Cogswarth, and Phoebe - the daughter of Mrs. Potts.

Alex made them promise not to tell anyone about the hideout since it meant a lot to him and he didn't want anyone to mess anything up.

The shack was filled with all kind of knick knacks. There were multiple guitars, music sheets and music stands, keyboard, and even some drums. There's a couch as well, a few dressers with some of his clothes and other stuff, a mini fridge, there was even a small tv on top of the mini fridge. He's musically talented and it has always been a way to calm him down whenever he was upset or mad. Not many people know about his talent but he doesn't mind that.

He honestly spends most of his time there if he wasn't at school or in the castle. He doesn't like being treated like a Prince like most do. He just wanted to be treated like a normal kid without being pressured by his parents and everyone around him. When he went to his hideout he could be a normal kid and he loved it.

Alex also had a good view of the Isle. Not that he liked looking out at it and feeling like it's part of his fault the villians are locked up on a small island. Sure they are evil, but maybe some of their kids aren't. He felt bad for the kids who didn't do anything, they were just born into that place.

Picking up one of his guitars he started strumming some cords while he sat on the couch.

" I didn't know you could sing."

The voice startled him and almost made him lose his grip on the guitar he was holding and looked over at the direction that voice came from to see that it was his older brother.

He rolled his eyes and puts his guitar in its stand that was next to the couch." Of course you didn't. There's a lot about me you don't know." Alex said. 

Ben frowned, knowing that he was right. The two use to be the best of friends but things changed when they got older. He feels guilt about leaving him in the dust. " I figured you would be here.  This is where you are most days." Ben said, changing the subject.

" What do you want? Your always here because you want something." Alex said as he crossed his arms over his chest. " Mom hasn't seen much of you lately and is worried about you. She wanted me to come check on you." Ben told him.

Alex sighed, his gaze on anything but his brother. " Yeah well, I've been here. " he gestured around the place. " Did they agree to your proclamation?" he asked and his lips curved upwards seeing his brother nod. Alex was one of the few people that actually thought Ben's proclamation was a good idea and he was happy that their parents said yes to letting the villain kids have a chance at a normal life. 

" It took some convincing but they eventually agreed. So the villain kids will be arriving tomorrow. It would be best if you would be there. I would appreciate it if you were." Ben said, looking over at his brother who looked up at him with shock but nodded after a few minutes of thinking. " I guess I'll be there. "

Ben smiled. " Good. Well um, I'm gonna head back. You should come back soon so mom doesn't send a search party for you because you know she would do that." he said.

Alex chuckled. " Yeah alright, I'll be there soon." Ben nodded and left the hideout. 

Alex stood up from the couch and walked out to the deck that went around the hideout and leaned against the railing, looking out at the Isle. He didn't know if bringing some villain kids over to Auradon was good or bad, but he did know they deserved a chance at a normal life no matter who their parents are. He had no idea how much these four people were gonna change his life forever.
