Clem was exhausted from thinking of every possible scenario could go down at the  new dojo. the idea of  Cobra Kai students being there made her sick. especially when  hawk was one of those "said" Cobra Kai students. it was shaking her, and she needed to be in control so she invited over somebody who she could easily talk shit with.

Moon sat on Clem's bed and  tilted her head as  Clem paced her floor "you just need to breath.you should meditate"Moon suggested, blowing smoke out of her mouth and towards Clem's open window, Clem stopped in her tracks"karate is  my meditation, but its difficult to meditate when you think that the red headed,smirking, punch swinging freak is gonna be there" Clem spat  and Moon sighed" you won't heal if you talk about him like that."she said 

" I know that you're all ' no  bad blood' but I'm not. he sucks... he broke Demetri's arm for god sake "Clem threw herself down on her bed next to Moon.the caramel haired girl  sighed, and passed Clem the joint that was in her fingers.

 Clem took a hit and  held it for a moment  before  letting it out." you want to talk about it?" Moon asked and Clem shrugged "what's the point? I mean no matter how little or much I talk I about him, no matter how much I ignore him, he's always there, he's always been there." Clem flattered,  her throat croaked , moon placed  a hand on Clem's back  rubbing it in a small circle

   Moon had hung out with Clem for a few more hours before she had to leave for karate.Moon painted Clems nails for her in bright blue but by the time class started Clem had already nervously picked off the majority of it.

She stood next to Miguel her feet firmly planted down in the grass. Not many people had shown up to class, only the few that Miguel had said got kicked out of Cobra Kai, and some others. Clem was a bit uncomfortable around everyone that she had already been classmates with before, but she could barely think about them when her full focus was on hawk. if he would show up, how he would act, how she would react.

" this is day one." johnny walked back and fourth in front of the students"we've been here before. but things are different now"johnny said" they tried to tear us down. it didn't work! they said we needed a roof and four walls. screw that! this park.. will be our new dojo. cause you don't need a dojo to be a dojo is that understood?" johnny shouted and Clem smiled a bit. it made her happy to feel like things were back to normal with johnny.

" yes sensei!" she shouted back,  johnny looked among the students  his eyes landing on Clem " wipe that smile off your face" he said and she nodded  flattening her lips " yes sensei"

"I started  cobra kai with one nerd" johnny looked next to Clem at Miguel " this is a step up" he said reflecting upon the students In front of him"  and if we're gonna be taken seriously, we need a name that commands respect. a name that elicits power and dominance. cobras are strong. they may be the king of the jungle , but the world is more than the jungle." johnny said and Clem slightly squinted at his  words" and there's only one animal that can kill a snake." johnny said 

" a mongoose?"bert questioned" a real animal bert."johnny said and Clem tilted her head to the side. johnny turned around and reached into  the box that sat on the ground behind him." welcome... to eagle fang karate." johnny introduced as he unfolded the shirt. 

" but eagle don't have fangs..." Clem muttered as johnny projected a shirt at her face." hey! watch the eyes bro..." she said leaving with a small frown as she picked the shirt up from in front of her. johnny tossed the remaining of the team their shirts.  everyone around tossed them on. Clem's sat loosely over her tank top.  she looked down and frowned then looking over at Mitch who was still struggling to put his on."switch?"she asked  and he nodded"thank you"

 they quickly switched shirts" alright. everybody. fall in." johnny directed  and everyone lined up. Clem looked forwards at johnny, her eyes instinctively looking to the side when movement occurred. Clem's eyes narrowed and her stomach  turned quickly into a pit. "sensei,look!" Miguel nodded his head past johnny shoulder. 

Clem pulled  her shoulders back and she held her breath tightly, she was actually surprised to see hawk there.a spark flickered within her, for a moment, and just a moment she had faith in him."still got it" johnny said as he looked back at the boys who approached." all right everybody, looks like our class just got bigger.make some room" johnny said.

Clem's eyes plastered on to hawks,his avoided hers for the first few seconds. hawks throat collapsed when he  saw the way that she was looking at him. that flicker of hope that she hid behind herself. he was done with it all,done being mean,he wanted Clem back, his life back...but if he left cobra kai,he would just go back to be terrorized by his bullies. hawk kept his shoulders up and chin raised.

Clem's eyes moved at the sight of Kyler and Tory coming from the bushes. clem swallowed hard,she knew that if those two were there they definitely weren't there for the right reasons. and there it was, kreese walked out a moment later with a handful of cobra kais  following right past him. the group stood in front of the newly established eagle fangs, the tension was high,Clem wanted nothing but to leave.

" I told you. cobra kais for life." hawk said to johnny. Clem tried her best to  keep a straight face,but her lips curved down and her lip quivered. a shot right to her gut. she couldn't keep doing this to herself, giving herself false hope that  Eli was still Eli, hawk looked at Clem with a small frown before he straighted up.

"don't worry johnny i'm not here for a fight." kreese stepped towards johnny "yeah? then why the hell are you here?" johnny asked " I'd like to make you another offer to come back to cobra kai. where you belong" kreese offered " you're crazy if you think i'm ever teaming up with you again. the garbage you're feeding them, the shit they're pulling, its messed up.you're to blame for that." johnny fumed.

"I have to disagree with you there." kreese raised his eyebrows"I care about my students. they're strong and they're true fighters. and they wouldn't make a mistake of  showing mercy and ending up in a coma!" kreese smirked. Clem made a small gasp in the back of her throat as she watched  Johnny's stance change, his knuckles drawing  pale white  with each growing second. Miguel quickly stepped up to johnny as hawk approached on the opposite side. Clem stood immediately closer  to  Miguel and hawk. kreese put his arm up in hawks way.

Clem ground  pressed her teeth tightly as she deflated her body and  put herself back in her spot." this is it johnny.there's not gonna be another chance." kreese said and johnny seethed"good" he said  through his teeth." you made your choice." kreese said as he placed his sunglasses back onto his face" and you are going to regret it."

kreese walked away,hawk gave Clem one more looked before following kreese out of the park along with everyone else. Clem let her body relax, her breathing finally  letting loose again.

after practice  Clem went home and took a shower. normally she would put some music on but right now she didn't want any. her hair soaked in water as it fell onto her back.she kept having to shake her thoughts of Eli,of the old times. she wrapped her hair in a towel and threw on a tank top and some striped shorts  and left the bathroom to go into her room.

 she climbed into bed  and sat on her phone scrolling through it,her head kept wandering off. kept thinking of Eli.she would be lieing if she said  she hadn't thought about it  before but now her hands were actually finding themselves scrolling through Elis Instagram. her thumb carefully scrolled,making sure to not touch anything  that she didn't want to. she found herself at the point of elis Instagram where she started to show up.her lip quivered,while she watched each memory flood back. her heart stopped for a quick moment when a video played

"okay? you ready?"said a fifteen year old Clem as she looked right past the camera at Eli  who laughed and nodded"yeah, go." he said . Clem placed a cookie on her forehead and started to scrunch her face , trying not to laugh along with Eli as the cookie slid down her face. the cookie fell into clem's mouth and  she raised her eyebrows and clasped her mouth down as her arms shot up into the air. She let out a sequel and a giggle and Eli turned himself around,making sure the camera could see both him and Clem.  Clem swallowed the cookie and Eli cheered for her"that was take one by the way" Clem bragged and Eli looked back at her with that  softened look just as the video ended.

Clem smiled,but it soon faded and was replaced with tears flowing over her cheeks  as she shut her phone and faced it towards her bed. she curled herself up, as she softly cried into herself.she didn't know how this kept happening, why she kept letting him hurt her. It was over, done. So why couldn't she let him go?
