AT THE SILVERTROPLIS NEWSPAPER INC . . .

The next day, Jayson is in the lounge room, getting himself a croissant sandwich.

Pepper Bloom slowly walks up next to him, getting her a smoothie.

            "Jayson." Pepper said.

         "Pepper." Jayson said.

       "Need I remind you that I know about your superhero identity. So, if you even think about trying to threaten me, you will fail." Pepper said.

          "What do you want?" Jayson asked.

            Jayson and Pepper exchange tense looks at each other.

         "I want you to quit being Super Knight. Silvertroplis was great until you decided to become a superhero. So, if you don't want me to expose you to the whole town, you'll quit being Super Knight." Pepper said with a straight face. "And I don't think I won't do it because I will."

           "You're a crazy bitch. And I will stop you." Jayson said.

            Pepper just chuckled. "You can try. But you will fail."

Jayson and Pepper exchange another tense looks at each other and she walks away.

          "Damnit." Jayson said.

THE SAPPHIRE CAFÉ

After awhile, Jayson, Mavis and Frankie are sitting at a table with their usual sausage, cheese, and pepperoni pizza.

{Mavis Outfit}

         "So, Pepper is blackmailing you by threatening to expose your superhero secret if you quit being Super Knight?" Frankie said. "Damn, that's not good."

         "I know. She has leverage over me and she's gonna hold it over me." Jayson said. "I don't know what the hell to do."

          "You can expose Pepper as Flamestar and she's the person that killed Louie Carrington. You'll have leverage against her." Frankie suggested.

         "She's gonna expect that, Frankie." Mavis said.

         "Oh, right." Frankie said.

       "But thanks for the idea though." said Jayson.

       "You're welcome." Frankie said, and glances at Mavis's green engagement ring on her left hand ring finger. "Oh my gosh, you two are engaged."

Jayson and Mavis exchange smiles at each other and looks at Frankie.

        "Yeah, we are." Mavis said.

     "We have to celebrate at my house." Frankie said. "Can I please?"

           "Sure." Jayson said.

Suddenly, a truck speeds by and down the road, causing Jayson to become worried.

          "I gotta go." Jayson said to Mavis and Frankie, and gets up, walking away.

On the road, Pepper is in the driver's seat, driving a truck with the brakes cut, which she did herself, and laughs, maniacally, honking the horn, which makes some townspeople moves out of the way.

Super Knight flies towards the truck and lifts it up in his hands and levitates in mid-air.

The townspeople slowly surrounds Super Knight as he gently lands the truck back on the road.

Pepper opens the driver's door and pretends to be frantic as she falls into Super Knight's arms and he catches her in his arms.

           "Oh my gosh, I thought I was gonna die." Pepper said, and looks at Super Knight. "You saved my life. Thank you."

Super Knight and Pepper exchange looks at each other.

Frankie and Mavis walks through the crowd of people who has their phones out.

            "Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!" The crowd of townspeople chanted.

Super Knight looks around at the crowd of townspeople and looks at Frankie and Mavis.

Pepper gently cups his face with her hands, making him look at her and she gives him a mischievous look in her eyes and sly smiles as she kisses him and he kisses her back, gently wrapping his arms around her waist.

Frankie looks at Mavis, who looks at Super Knight and Pepper kiss with a glum look on her face as the crowd cheers.

Super Knight and Pepper gently pulls away from the kiss and she hugs him. She looks at Mavis with a sly smirk.

LATER THAT LATE AFTERNOON AT JAYSON'S AND MAVIS'S MOBILE HOUSE . . .

Jayson walks inside the living room and gently closes the door behind him. He looks at Mavis as she's sitting at the kitchen countertop, eating leftover pizza.

In that moment, Jayson didn't know what to say. Is Mavis upset about him kissing Pepper Bloom? Is she upset with him for kissing her back?

Jayson slowly walks up to the kitchen countertop and sits down.

           "Mavis?" Jayson said.

       "I'm a little bit upset, but I'm not upset with you, Jay." Mavis tells him.

             "It's gonna be in the newspaper article tomorrow morning." Jayson said.

           "I know." Mavis said. "Frankie postponed our engagement party."

            "Yeah, understandable." Jayson said. "I'm sorry, Mavy."

        Mavis gently holds Jayson's hand in her hand. "I know."

           "There has to be a way to make Pepper lose her leverage against me." Jayson said.

           "We'll figure it out, Jay." Mavis said. "I love you."

         "I love you too." Jayson said.

Jayson and Mavis exchange small smiles at each other. He gently takes a slice of pizza and takes a bite of it.
