One week later

JANE'S POV:
So basically nothing has really changed except the fact that me and Walker could hold hands now, hug more and... well you know kiss. I have never thought of having a boyfriend maybe until I will finish college or get to work, which I hope would be a successful career as a singer because honestly I love music more than anything. But then Walker showed up and everything kind of changed in a very good way, seriously if it wasn't that day in sixth grade when he splashed tomato sauce all over my clothes maybe we haven't got the chance to build up this friendship that turned into something else. The funny thing though was the reaction our friends had when they had seen us after we walked outside of the infirmary from my school when the lacrosse game took part. The moment we came outside, Emma, Leah, Dior and Leena started to scream and giggle while Aryan, Charlie, and my brothers rolled their eyes but I could notice the small smirk on Patrick's lips, me and Walker looked at each other slightly confused before we decided to ignore it finding it very amusing.
Our parents, on the other hand, took the news better than we could have imagined, both our moms smiled at each other seeing their kids holding hands, it seemed like they had waited for this moment to happen since we met while our dads shook hands like they had made a bet about it. Moreover our parents advised us to keep it lowkey to the public because it was our personal lives and it was better to be subtle, both of us agreed without a question. Due to us living in different states, me and Walker decided that it was best to spend the weekends together, we would travel either by train or our parents would drive us which could be a very long couple of hours.

It was almost 5 p.m currently on Friday, I was in the train for Pennsylvania, I had skipped the last two classes for school to get on the train at 12 p.m because it takes mostly 5 hours and I wanted to get there on time.

As the train stopped in the station I was the first one at the door holding my pink traveling handbag on my shoulder as I ran out on the platform because I spotted Walker the moment I got out. I rushed to him and jumped into his arms hugging him tightly like we haven't seen each other in years but in truth is was only one week.

"Hi, jeans" he chuckled putting me down, I didn't know why he always had to lift me up whenever we hugged, probably because I was way too small, unfortunately.

"Let me take this. Thank you" he added grabbing the handbag from my shoulder, I smiled watching him, he was such a kind soul and sometimes I wonder how did I end up meeting him.

"You don't need to carry my bag, you know" I said softly as we walked out of the train station, Walker turned his face at me and leaned down to kiss my lips taking me by surprise.

"Let me be a gentleman, sweetheart" Walker uttered with a cocky grin after breaking away, his thumb rubbing the back of my palm as we were holding hands. I was speechless for a moment, trying my best to hide my blush that I was sure he noticed.

After a while of walking we finally arrived in his neighborhood, I had known about it because Leena kept telling me how wonderful it would be if I had ever come there to spend time together, of course that was before I had begun to date her brother. Walker seemed that something bothered him, he continued on checking his phone that buzzed almost every five minutes, I didn't to ask him anything because I would turn out to be a prying girlfriend which was not my intention.

"Walker, what's wrong?" I couldn't resist on asking because he looked even angrier whenever he opened his phone and read whatever was on it.

"Nothing. I'm fine, don't worry" he answered me with a forced smile as we entered in his house, I sighed deciding to drop it off, he wasn't hiding anything from me, was he?

"Hii, dear Jane. Hope the ride was good" Mrs Scobell greeted me from the living room, she was dressed very nicely that afternoon.

"It was, thank you Mrs Scobell" I smiled looking around Walker's house, it was big really big, it had a floor where there were four bedrooms for Leena, Tanner, Walker and their parents.

"Has anyone seen my keys?" Mr Scobell asked coming out from the kitchen, he was dressed quite formely aswell. He smiled happily spotting the keys on the table from the living room.

"Where is Leena?" I asked not seeing Walker's sister anywhere, I really wanted to talk to her again since we became basically sisters, not in a weird way though.

"She's at some friend's house" Walker told me coming downstairs, I haven't even noticed that he had left upstairs so quickly to put my bag in Leena's room because that's where I would be sleeping the next to nights.

"Okay, kids. We should be back by 10 pm. Walker, tell Tanner to quit gaming at leastwise 9 because he needs to go to sleep if he wants to go out with his friends tomorrow" Mrs Scobell explained as she and Walker's dad put their cloacks and shoes on.

"Yes, mom" Walker nodded quickly with his two hands behind his back, I smiled noticing how cute their relationship and how of a good son he was with them.

"Now both of you have fun and don't ruin the house" Mrs Scobell said with a laugh before she and Mr Scobell walked outside leaving me and Walker standing in the hallway.

"Wanna go play on the console?" Walker asked with a smirk pulling out from his back two white controllers.
"Now, you're speaking my language" I grinned taking one controller and rushing to the couch as Walker sat next to me after turning on the tv.

We were deep in the game, I was on the first place, don't ask how I am so good at video games because if you would live with two brothers who are obsessed with every game existing it wouldn't be a chance for you to not know some tips.

"I'll be right back" Walker suddenly spoke stopping the game as he got up and made his way to bathroom leaving his phone on the couch next to me. Now, please don't get me wrong I was not that type of girl who would check on her boyfriend's phone just because he had been acting a bit weird that entire afternoon, but the phone won't stop buzzing so I had to look what was going on.

I couldn't help but chuckle why reading these, the lacrosse team from where Walker was part of, and for some stupid reason he didn't want to throw a party over their victory, after all he scored the last goal so it was kinda deservedly for him to celebrate.

"Jeans? What are you doing with my phone?" Walker startled me as he came back into the room and passed by the tv to sit back next to me.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to... it just kept buzzing and—" I stammered handing him the phone back, I felt so embarrassed after what I did, after all it was his private conversations, how could I have the audacity to look through his phone. "It's fine" Walker smiled softly taking it from my hand and placing it on te table before he took back the controller.

"Why don't you want to host the party?" I couldn't help but ask because my curious self was too overwhelming, I needed to know, Walker sighed pausing the game again.

"It's not that I don't want to... It's just... I'm... ugh.. I want to spend time with you, jeans" Walker said stammering cutely, he was adorable when he tried to find the right words to speak. I raised my eyebrows smiling purely, I was glad he wished to occupy the weekend with us but he had other friends too, it was not only me.

"You can still spend it while hosting the party with me here" I proposed, putting my controller on the table, Walker was a bit surprised by me agreeing to the idea of the party.
"What am I going to tell them when they see you here?" he asked confused and lost.

"That we are friends. We must learn to play around as friends in public and this could be a good start" I answered leaning my head on one of the soft blue pillows from the couch, Walker thought for a second before agreeing to my idea. We needed to learn to act in public, we were both actors after all, it couldn't be so hard or that's what we thought...
