THIRD PERSON POV:
They managed to get the pizza just in time because Jane was quick to order right after Walker had announced his friends to come over. Truth be told she was thrilled to be able to meet some of Walker's closest friends beside the ones from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians cast, which she knew too. Jane felt exited to come to know the lacrosse team where Walker played, of course she was sure they hadn't remembered her from last week at the game when she sang, but even though she wanted to have a good time while meeting those new people. Instead of herself who should be freaking out because she had never seen these people, Walker seemed to be more agitated with every second passing, pacing between the living room and hallway while checking the time.

Jane placed the last plate on the table, everything was perfectly arranged, plates, glasses and the pizza in the middle, Jane felt proud of herself because her obsession in making the table or anything related to putting the things in their right place would be seen.
She peeked up wanting to ask Walker how he thought it looked, her eyebrows furrowed noticing the stress on him as she strolled towards him.

"What is it now?" Jane sweetly asked placing her hand on his arm making him turn around to face her.

"Nothing... I mean... it's just... I've never hosted a party before... not to say that my parents have no idea of it, yet I'm sure that they wouldn't mind it but—" Walker spoke, covering his face as a display of incredible frustration. Jane's brown eyes softened as a lovely smile formed on her lips "Walker.." she added cupping the sides of his face with her hands as he took away his palms to look at her.

"Everything will turn out just fine but you need to stop stressing" the brunette uttered, her voice gentle as a whisper while she was slightly stroking his golden curls which she loved way too much.

Walker smiled breathing out and calming himself a bit "I like it when you rub my hair" he whispered making Jane giggle, his blue eyes never leaving hers, Walker could stay even on his feet if Jane was there with him because he would melt only by staring into her beautiful eyes.

Jane's eyes moved towards the part beneath his right eye where the trace from the bruise he received last weekend was still a bit visible, a bruise he got for her. Her thumb slightly touching that place before she leaned in kissing his cheek tenderly where the trace was, and in that moment Walker felt like he was going to die on the floor, melt like frozen ice. He had known Jane since they started working together on the set of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, but he'd never realized how a delicate and affectionate person she was, he could swear Jane was fragile than glass.

Walker scoffed "It's always when I'm living the best moments with my jeans" thinking if this could be a coincidence that they would get interrupted every time they were feeling their best.

Walker rushed to open the front door of his house but quickly returned confusing Jane "Walker, what—" she couldn't finish as he touched her lips gently making Jane smile into the kiss.

"Just because I won't be able to the that for the next two couple of hours" he added with a smirk after breaking away and rushing in the hallway, this time to open the door for real.

"Hey, guys" Walker greeted with a big smile at the sight of his friends standing in the doorway.
"WE THOUGHT YOU WOULDN'T BE HOSTING THIS! What changed your mind, man?" Noah asked entering right after the three girls, Gia, Lucy and Vivienne walked inside. Walker shrugged trying to hide his smile at the question because Jane was the reason he agreed to the party.

"OH MY GOD!" Gia exclaimed stopping in the hallway and staring straight at entrance to the living room where Jane was smiling and waving to them.

"Oh... uhm... guys, she is—" Walker stammered rubbing the back of his neck but he wasn't able to finish the sentence because someone else took it from him.

"JANE RIORDAN! AHHHH!" Gia screamed starting to run around the hallway, Lucy dropped her phone on the floor which hopefully it didn't break.

"YOU DIDNT TELL US THAT JANE FREAKING RIORDAN IS IN YOUR FUCKINGGGG HOUSEEEE????" Lucy shouted tears from joy starting to form at the corner of her eyes as Vivienne, who took her phone up, was rubbing her back pleasantly surprised aswell.

"Hi" Jane simply smiled at the three shocked girls, she had never met with fans face to face and began to feel a bit nervous. Yet before she could say anything all the three girls practically jumped over her, asking her question, complementing her style, saying how much they loved her posts and how Jane won their hearts when she sang at the lacrosse game last Friday.

"Okay so, let me see if I got it right. You three are cheerleaders, the boys are part of the lacrosse team and you decided to form a friend group because you think you are the best" Jane repeated again after Gia explained to her how they all had met and started their friendship.

"Yes and because we are badasses! That's where the group name comes from, I mean the chat one" Gia nodded putting her glass on the table, it was only them three girls at the table because Walker and the other boys decided to go play video games at the tv.

"Well... Walker wanted us to be called 'The Deadpool gang' but we said nah uh" Lucy spoke moving her finger from side to side.

"ITS CAUSE DEADPOOL IS DANK, LU!" Walker shouted sitting up from the couch with the controller in his right hand, Lucy pulled her tongue out because she had never liked Deadpool, she had been obligated to watch it because Walker made the whole group watch it. Jane couldn't help but chuckle at the scene, she had never had a girls friend group, sure Emma was her half but still these three girls seemed very nice and funny.

"You have no idea how much joy you brought to my day. I'm literally your biggest fan! You were AMAZING at the game last weekend" Gia said again, Jane's heart melt hearing such sweet words, having fans was actually so thrilling and exciting, in fact she never thought people would be her fans.

"You are the reason I watched the whole episodes of Percy Jackson and started to read the books! I'm on book 4 already!  Can I hug you?" Lucy spoke again, her puppy eyes showing up, Jane nodded with a smile embracing the light-brown haired girl tightly even though she was shorter than all of them.

"I'm never washing my hands and clothes" Lucy mumbled as Jane escaped a chuckle. Walker looked over at the girls and couldn't resist but smile at the sight, he was glad Jane finally found people who appreciated her.

"Dude! We're losing!" Kyle startled him, Walker shook his head returning back to the game and remembering that he and Jane were supposed to be friends that Friday evening, but it was harder than it seemed.

"The song you sang at the game? Did you write it?" Vivienne suddenly asked not wanting to interrupt anything, yet the curiosity hit her like a truck.

"Oh, yeah. I write all my songs" Jane answered with a sweet smile as Vivienne jaw dropped.

"SONGS?! How many do you have?" she asked again, she never meant it in a bad way, Vivienne admired Jane too just as her friends but she was not so good at showing it, her shyness being the problem.

"Yeah... uhm 60... wait no, now there are 61. All kept in my purple notebook" Jane replied tucking a lock of her hair from blocking her eyesight.

"Girl, where tf is your album?! Nah, I'm not accepting this. YOU NEED TO SING MORE ON THE STAGE!" Vivienne exclaimed, she knew how to sing aswell and loved music so much. Jane smiled awkwardly starting to play with her fingers, last weekend was the first time she had been on a stage because the one time when she sang with Taylor Swift at the age of 8 doesn't really count.

"I'm not very confident in public... especially on stage" Jane mumbled looking up at the three girls who were shocked as hell hearing something so stupid. "You serious?!" Gia snapped not believing a word from Jane's mouth, she was too iconic to be shy.

"No man!" Ben exclaimed due to Walker and Kyle winning the third round over him and Noah. "Anyway, I'll be right back" he added fastly sitting up from the couch and running towards the bathroom.

"Noah!" Gia shouted from the table, the boy quickly looking over the girls. "I'm coming, baby" the boy quickly added sitting up from the couch and rushing towards the table. Noah and Gia had started to date at the start of the freshman year and they were considered to be the cutest couple from school, at least that's what their friend group stood by.

Of course Walker couldn't help him but stare again at Jane because now he had even better sight, it was so unfair that he must go through so much pain because she was so far away from him and looking so beautiful without even trying.

"So uhm... Walker?" Kyle's voice startled the blonde as he quickly shut down his phone and put it back in his pocket before looking up at his friend.

"Do you know... well if... does Jane have someone... like you know...?" Kyle asked with an awkward laugh, Walker's face dropped he couldn't believe his ears.

"She seems very nice, she's very pretty and kinda hot..." Kyle continued as a small smirk formed on his lips looking over at Jane who was laughing with Gia and the other girls about some funny pics with Noah.

"Yeah and mine... so fuck off douchebag" Walker's thought was loud and clear while his blood was boiling and his left fist clenching, he wished to scream that right into his face, how someone like Kyle have the audacity to think of himself good enough for an angel like Jane. Nobody could make Jane laugh like Walker, nobody could listen to her like him, nobody could hug her like him, nobody else deserved Jane like him and no soul in this universe could love Jane like Walker.

Instead of punching, which would have been the better option, Walker forced a fake smile while saying "Who wants popcorn?" as everyone screamed in unison a clear yes before Walker rushed into the kitchen.

One hour later
"It was so good, guys! Also don't forget to come see us at the music competition tomorrow, it's held in the park" Lucy said as they were putting on their shoes and cloacks.

"You too, Jane!" Gia added before wrapping Jane into a tight hug. The Riordan girl nodded happily, it would be amazing to go see these girls sing live, she felt so pleased meeting them.

"Bye guys!" Walker waved before closing the door and sighing in relief because nobody would bother him and Jane's weekend now.
"Finally..." he mumbled as Jane furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, but decided to let it go because maybe Walker was just tired.

"I like those girls. They are so nice" Jane said starting to collect the plates and glasses from the table not noticing what Walker was doing at the his phone until she heard the rhythm of it, one of her favorite songs.

Jane turned around to make eye contact with Walker, he was standing in the middle of the room with a cute smile on his lips, the song starting to play.

"Wanna dance with me, jeans?" Walker asked after offering his hand just for Jane to take it with a sweet giggle. Jane put her left hand on his shoulder while he held her by the waist, interlacing their fingers as Walker's blue eyes never left Jane's brown ones.

Jane's face was showing happiness like never before, she felt the butterflies flying in her stomach because Walker was there, with her, was dancing with her, laughing with her while spinning her around, him with his stupid adorable smile.

"You know you have the cutest smile, jeans" Walker whispered intertwining his fingers with Jane as they made a sort of tiny dip, she felt like she could fold right there but instead she chuckled softly.
