THE GREY GHOST

~Dragonstone~
129 A.C

After two days of Aestra's 17th nameday, the Queen decided to return back to The Red Keep even if Viserys wished to stay more with his daughter and niece, Alicent said that "It is best to return for your health, husband"
The King was not getting any more better, with every day passing his effigy blasted as the illness spread more and more, soon reaching his soul.

"Oh... how much I'm going to miss you all..." breathed Viserys leaning on his strident stick as Rhaenyra gave him a kiss on the forhead. "So are we, father" she smiled as the king moved to his niece.
"You've grown into a fine woman, my dear" he spoke to Aestra as she gave him a smiling nod. "Thank you, uncle" the princess bowed. "And I'm sure we'll find a match who's worthy of you, huh?" Viserys continued glaring at Rhaenyra and Daemon with an understanding look.
Aestra could feel Aemond's eyes from behind his father burning into her entire body. Jace was furious than ever and she could swear that if no one was to say anything to break this tension he would lose his mind.

Suddenly with a laugh Daemon step forward near his brother putting a hand on his shoulder saying "Me and Rhaenyra will handle it, brother. Now let's get you on board" as he helped Viserys to get on the boat, Daemon winked at his daughter making her exhale in relief. Rhaenyra squeezed her shoulder assuring Aestra that everything will be settled in the right way. She felt Jace's hand taking ahold of hers, a pleased smile appearing on her lips as Aemond scoffed irritated and walked on the boat.

"You've grown beautifully indeed, darling" Alicent said walking at Aestra followed by Helaena and Aegon who was too drunk to say goodbye, everyone was able to notice that.
"You're compliment satisfies me, my queen. Thank you" Aestra bowed as Alicent watched all her movements.
"She is the image of her mother, your grace" Rhaenyra uttered with a superior look making Alicent froze for a second, the princess knew how much this would hurt the queen, this was the exact reason she said it.
"Of-of course she is" Alicent muttered angrily as she put up a forced smile before heading to the boat with a raging gaze.

"We're separating again, Es" Helaena mumbled between her tears, it has been already three months since Aestra lived the Red Keep and now Helaena was the one living her.
"We'll be writing everyday just like we did until now, Hel" Aestra spoke squeezing the princess hand and pulling her into a hug feeling that she was at the urge to burst into tears aswell.
"I love you, Es" Helaena mumbled into her shoulder hugging her tightly.
"I love you too, Hel" Aestra spoke with a sob before she pulled out from the embrace and wiped her tears. Helaena got on the boat after a final hug followed by Aegon who was staring at Aestra's breats the entire time but she did not give any attention to this hillarious behaviour.

"That went well I should say" Daemon said with a smirk coming down the boat right before it set on.
"Thank you, father" Aestra spoke as Daemon passed by her giving her a smile "No problem" he said.
"I hope we won't see these people again soon- ouch" Luke uttered receiving a punch in the arm from Rhaena who rolled her eyes in disappointment as everybody else laughed.
"We shall not, sweet boy" Rhaenyra assured him as they all walked back to the castel.

"So Es, about that race?" Baela pointed out as they were walking in the great halls of the castel. "What race?" asked confused Jace stopping in his way as the rest of the children stopped aswell, only Daemon and Rhaenyra entering the ball room to tell the servants to clean it up. "Dragon race, Jace. Me and the girls have discusted about it all day yesterday" said Aestra informing her stepbrothers that they have nothing to worry about, especially Jacaerys. "We wish to see if Moondancer is faster than Cannibal" uttered Baela with excitement and enthusiasm wrapping her arm around Aestra neck as they both giggled happily. "Wait a second" Lucerys spoke as everyone turned to him slightly surprised. "Why can't me and Jace join you?" he spatted leaning his arm on Jace's shoulder, both of them eager to accompany the girls. "Because it's a girls' afternoon, Luke" Rhaena snapped crossing her arms walking next to her sisters. "Okay, okay. Got it" he put up his hands in deffense a little surprised by her answer. "Let's go then" Aestra spoke with a laugh trying to calm down the tension between those two who clearly were upset about something.
As she made her way from behind her sister, Aestra felt that someone caught her arm making her turn around in question "Please be careful" Jace muttered looking into her eyes wanting her to understand his meaning. She smiled softly at him before kissing him on the cheek "I will. Do not worry" she whispered with a nod seeing that he wasn't really sure about it but he eventually let go of her arm.

Jace watched her as she ran out to Baela and Rhaena hugging them from behind, joyfully giggles could be heard in the castel as they were walking out to the Dragonpit.
"I cannot wait to see the day when I'm going to understand you, Jace" said Lucerys putting his hand on his brother's shoulder. Jace shoke his head with a smile looking at his younger brother "When you'll be in love you'll get the feeling"
Lucerys made a disgusted face raising his eyebrows "Bleh, yeah definitely never". Jace laughed as his brother walked back to help their parents, glancing one last time outside the castel seeing the girls walking to the Dragonpit, hearing their lovely and full of life giggles made him put up a wide smile and with a sigh walked to the room at his mother.

——————————||————————

Aestra, Baela and Rhaena made their way into the Dragonpit where Moondancer , Sheepstealer and Cannibal were already waiting. Aestra's two dragons get on very well for what she could see, Sheepstealer was already her first dragon for over two months and Cannibal has just joined him four days ago. The princess was a little afraid that they would not get along well because Cannibal very best known for his wildness and food choices would not be so friendly towards Sheepstealer but it seemed her worries were wrong.

"They love you so much" Rhaena spoke as Sheepstealer put his snout on Aestra's cheek making her giggle. "As I love them" the blue-eyed princess said caressing his green scales as the dragon made a pleased sound. "Kesā daor sagon mundagon lo tubī iksan jāre lēda cannibal, paktot?" (You will not be upset if today I am going with Cannibal, right?) Aestra whispered as her fingers were stroking softly his nose, Sheepstealer turned and looked at the dark dragon whom was waiting for the princess. The green scaled dragon huffed angrily at the other then looked back at Aestra before flying out of the Dragonpit.
"Looks like he's a little furious" Baela said as she was preparing MoonDancer, Aestra sighed walking to Cannibal and climbing onto his back.
"He'll get over it. I hope so at least..." Aestra quothed stroking Cannibal's dark scales as the dragon shoke his head opening his huge wings. Baela climbed into MoonDancer's back aswell followed by Rhaena who's egg hasn't hatched it but she promised that when it will happen she is going to win all the races.
"Who gets at Dragonmont first?" asked Aestra with a smirk as Cannibal spread his wings.
"And who gets back first" responded Baela before mouting MoonDancer and flying out of the Dragonpit and into the cristal blue sky.
"Māzigon va, valītsos. Urnēptre zirȳla skoros ao jiōraton" (Come on, boy. Show her what you got) Aestra whispered to Cannibal stroking his back scales as the dragon let out a loud roar before soaring into the sky following the slender pale green she-dragon.

The way to the Dragonmont was not a long one but it was enough for the dragons to train their strenght, wings and ability of flying, she has often seen that her father and Rhaenyra flew with Caraxes and Syrax on this road. The dragons always liked to fly around the Dragonmont, it was their home, Aestra knew Sheepstealer had a lair there and the fact that he did not stay in the Dragonpit everyday like the other dragons showed his wildness, he was a wild dragon and the princess will not take that from him, she was glad that she got a dragon, now two with Cannibal whom she had found in a cave probably because the other dragons feared him or because he likes reduced place, Aestra thought it could be a reason.
"We're almost there, Es" Rhaena shouted with her hands up in the sky as she looked back at Aestra with a superior smile feeling that MoonDancer will beat the wilddest dragon from The Seven Kingdoms.
"Adere valītsos. Kosti ērinagon" (Faster, boy. We can win) Aestra said mounting her dragon who the moment he heard the princess words rushed faster than ever, his wings moving one with the wind.
"Woah..." Rhaena's mounth wide opened as Aestra and Cannibal passed them with a speed that no one had ever seen. The blue-eyed princess laughed as she raised her hands up in the sky feeling so joyfull and free, coming to Dragonstone was the best decision she has ever made.

As they reached the destination the Cannibal slowed down, his flying calming a little, Aestra looked down below and into the Dragonmont, the vulcano was still active, she could feel the warmth that was coming from it but she did not mind, Aestra always loves warm things or places, whenever she is taking a bath she orders the maiden to prepare it with the hottest water and the maiden always remains shocked because the princess requests such an unbelieveable thing. While she stares down at the volcano Aestra strokes her little necklace that her father has gifted to her two days ago on her nameday, even if he was upset because of the news he had received Daemon Targaryen could not forget about one of his beloved daughters, and made Aestra's heart melt was that this necklace had once belonged to her mother, so she swore to never get it off her neck, never.

"You took you're time" Aestra smiled playfully as Moondancer arrived with Baela and Rhaena who were a little disappointed for this race.
"Yeah well... Baela felt a little sick so we had to stop for a second" Rhaena said playing with a silver lock of hair before her sister hit her with her elbow.
"Do you understand that you've just said the stupidiest thing ever, right?" Baela spoke rolling her eyes before smilling back at Aestra who was chuckling at the twins.
All of a sudden Cannibal started groaning and flying anxiously around the Dragonmont. "Valītsos" (Boy) Aestra spoke stroking his scales trying to calm him down.
"We should return back" Baela said before mounting Moondancer to turn around and fly back to the castel.
As they were flying back Aestra asked herself what in the seven hells would scare the Cannibal like that. It made her think that something could make Cannibal freak out like that would not be good.
They entered the Dragonpit and Aestra climbed down from Cannibal's back, the dragon still with scared eyes.
"Skoros massitas valītsos? skoros iksis pirta?" (What happened boy? What is wrong?) Aestra uttered stroking his snout gently as she stares into his green emerald eyes, fear could be read in them. The black dragon's breath started to calm feeling the princess's touch and quiescent words, he closed his eyes as her fingers moved on his black-coal scales.
"Iksā ȳgha, valītsos. Iksā daor mērī dombo" (You are safe, boy. You are not alone anymore) she whispered softly to him seeing that he soothed making Aestra feel more relieved but the question still remained, why did Cannibal get scared like that.

——————————::————————-

The whole family gathered to dine together after these few days of horror and hustle. Aestra had never imagined that her seventeenth name day would be like this, many lords and ladies congratulating her and making her feel uncomfortable, that not being enough but the Queen and her stupid sons had come aswell for the situation to be more complicated, she did not mind Helaena, her sweet cousin could have stayed how much she enjoyed but of course she could not. At The Red Keep Helaena was the only one who congratulated her or even remember about Aestra's nameday, the sweet girl would bring a tiny strawberry cake to Aestra's chambers and would hug her like an older protective sister. Aestra loved that, she loved the cake, she loved the hugs and especially she loved because it was Helaena, her special and unique Helaena.
"Sweetheart? Aestra? Are you okay, dear?" the blue-eyed princess snapped out of her gaze hearing Rhaenyra call for her. She shoke her head looking at the woman who had gave her warm smile.
"I'm sorry. I was not paying attention" Aestra mumbled before looking down at her silver plate realising that she hadn't eaten anything while everybody else were almost done eating with their dinner and hers were untouched.
"What were you dreaming about this time?" Luke asked taking a bit of his slice of pumpkin pie but he quickly took a hard hit in elbow from Rhaena who was sitting next to him.
"Don't speak with your mouth full" Rhaena scolded him rolling her eyes before turning to Aestra with a wide smile.
"Nothing really. I was just thinking" Aestra said calmly finally taking a taste of her strawberry pie with a satisffied expression. "This is so good" she spoke as she took the second bite, the strawberries melting on her tongue.
"You haven't eaten anything all day, Es. Of course is good" told Jace with a little chuckle, he was sat next to her, Aestra turned to him with a furrow eyebrow.
"How do you know that I haven't eaten anything?" she asked sounded similar to a little child who has received its most wished gift, all of the people from the table started to laugh happily hearing Aestra's lovely voice.
"What?" she asked before laughing aswell.
"You are so sweet, Aestra darling" Rhaenyra said gripping her hand on the table and squeezing it softly.
Aestra's smile grew larger feeling her heart melting at Rhaenyra's words, she had never sensed the presence of a good mother, Queen Alicent was not a mother even to her own children, but now seeing Rhaenyra's care and love for her was enough to make Aestra believe she had found her mother figure.
"You have something... here" Jace said moving his hand up to Aestra's face and wipped softly with his thumb the little whipped cream she had on her upper lip.
"Oh Gods. You two are the cutest couple in Westeros" Rhaena spoke happily clapping her hands as everyone started to giggle making Aestra and Jace blush violently.
"They will make the perfect parents for sure" Baela added smilling at the two before taking a sip of whine from her cup.
"Oh yes. Have you been thinking for a name, dearests?" Rhaenyra asked putting her cup of wine down smilling warmly at Aestra and Jace.
"A name? Jace, we have been thinking, haven't we?" Aestra whispered to Jace with a corner of her mouth waiting for him to say something, Jace took Aestra's hand in his gently interlacing their fingers.
"Yes, mother. We do have a name prepared for our child" Jacaerys responded with a soft reasurring tone giving his mother a quick smile.
"Very well then. Will you tell us the name?" Daemon asked as he was sitting near Rhaenyra leaning his back on the chair with his hands resting on the table.
"We would like to make it a surprise, father" Aestra uttered with a cute smile squeezing Jace's hand from under the table.
"It will be a boy, won't it?" Joffrey suddenly questioned jumping happily in his chair.
"We can't be sure of that yet, Joff" Rhaena spoke answering to Joffrey's lovely question as the little boy sighed in disappointment.
"Well fine, but if it'll be a girl I want to be a good uncle like Daemon is with mother" Joffrey said with a wide smile making Jace choke on the wine he was drinking as Aestra was too stunned to say something.
"Of course, sweetheart. You sure will be" said Rhaenyra squeezing her little son's hand giving him a warm smile before giving Daemon side furious look.
"Can't wait to see the day, Joff" Daemon spoke raising up his cup with a grin on his face.
"I'm so impatient to witness it aswell" Lucerys followed him with a smirk as he put his cup of wine in the air aswell before Rhaena could gave him a slight punch in the arm.
"Ouch! What do you keep hitting me, Rhae?" Luke asked as he caressed his arm looking at Rhaena who had a very disappointed expression on her face.
"Because you are a good punch bag and I'm exercising my punches" Rhaena answered with a pleased smile before taking a sip of wine.
"Are you sure you are okay, Jace?" Aestra asked while caressing Jacaerys's back as he was coughing violently.
"Yeah, yeah— I'm fine" Jace answered with a smile while he was coughing putting his hand  up to reassure everyone that he was feeling okay.
"Anyway, I've wanted to tell you something that had happened in the castel these past few days, before Joff made us laugh a little" Rhaenyra said with an awkward smile as everyone turned their heads to listen to her.
"On these three days while my father and the queen had been staying here on Dragonstone, something has happened with some of the maidens" Rhaenyra spoke with a sigh putting her palm on her forehead leaning on the desk with her elbow.
"What has happened?" Baela asked with curiosity of why her stepmother was so stressed about.
"Aegon happened which is not surprising" Daemon answered with disgusted expression with her arm leaned on the table.
Aestra felt her breath caught in her throat hearing her father's answer, he did not need to say more because she had understood, because she had already been in that situation before, imagies and memories came back into her mind of what has happened four years ago, her screaming for help and begging Aegon to let her go as he threw her on the bed, trying to escape from his tightness, it was intoxicating, that day was the worst day of her life and the fact that nobody knew about it made it look more sad.
"N—No" Aestra wheezed raising up from her seat as pain and suffering building in her eyes as she remembered every word, every move, every cry, it was similar to a scar that remained with her and will never disappear.
"Es? What is it?" Jace asked worried looking at his love with a questionable expression caressing her hand softly.
"I—I'm sorry. Excuse me, please" Aestra said with a shaky voice taking a deep breath in before walking from the table and rushing through the door leaving everyone confused and concerned about her. Seeing herself alone she let the tears flow down her cheeks as she walked outside the castel at the beach.

The sun began slowly to sat down as the sky was painted in a dark orange shade of colour as the sea was drenching her blue gown and flats but she did not care. Aestra was staring at the long and infinite dark sea as milliond of thoughts were running through her mind, she shouldn't have reacted that way like a little child who was scared after his septa would tell him a bed time story which was not even real, but surprisingly Aestra was. This mishap with Aegon has happened four years ago and she must forget it, it was in the past which she should let go because her past was full of suffering and anguish, she should let in her future, the bright future which was expecting her, with her family, Jace and the lovely child with only three moons until now who was resting in her beautiful belly, but Aestra couldn't, not when the scar that Aegon has left on her was hurting more and more, she was just a child when it happened so she knew it won't heal that easy.
"I thought I'd find you here" Daemon spoke walking on the light-brown sand with his hands folded at his back. Aestra didn't say anything, she just glanced at her father before looking back at the magical view that the sunset was giving to them.
"You've left a little too early from dinner" Daemon said softly staring aswell at sparkling blue sea.
"I'm sorry" Aestra whispered with her lips which didn't even open to speak clearly, in her voice Daemon could read the surrow that his daughter was struggling with.
"Little dragon, tell me what's wrong" Daemon uttered turning his head towards Aestra who had her arms crossed over her chest.
"Aestra" Daemon spoke again with a stern but soft tone making the girl to look at him with her eyes a little teary.
The princess took a deep breath in caressing her arms with her palms before she spoke "It—it was... something happened with me four years ago at the Red Keep" Aestra breathed out with a shaky voice but trying to sound normal, not letting her emotions overcome her senses.
"What happened?" Daemon asked with a curious voice, a little anger building up inside him.
"I was just borrowing a book from the library and—and when I was returning to my chamber I was met with Otto holding Aegon on his shoulder drunk as usual. Otto told me to take Aegon back to his chamber because he needed to do something much urgent. I got him to his chamber but when—when I want to go to mine he—he stopped me..." Aestra breathed out feeling her feet going weak as her hands were shaking terribly, Daemon's expression became more and more angrier realising what Aestra was telling him.
"I—I screamed for help but—but nobody came and—" Aestra could not say anything anymore as the tears that she held in her eyes were now flowing down to her cheek, one by one. Daemon took Aestra in his arms embracing her tightly and stroking her back gently reasurring her that no harm will come to her any longer, in his mind Daemon was already making a plan of how to kill that cunt of Otto and his drunken grandson, the most horrible dirtious heartless way to murder someone could be easy found by The Rogue Prince. No, he would not let those bitches live happily knowing what they did to his precious daughter, it was his fault in the first place because he shouldn't have taken Aestra to live with Viserys and Alicent, he was so stupid back when he took that decision.
"Please don't tell anyone about this, father" Aestra whispered after a while as her sobs finally started to calm down, it felt good to be with her father especially in this way, Daemon was not an emotional kind of person and he was rarely expressing his sympathy towards someone but she loved him when he was this kind.
"I'm so sorry, little dragon. I promise you that nobody would ever threat you like that again. My sweet girl" Daemon whispered while stroking Aestra's silver hair gently, Aestra felt safe in her father's arms, it was a feeling that she would always cheerish with her heart.
"Thank you, father" the princess quothed softly as they broke from the hug, Daemon giving her a warm smile "Somehow in a surprising hard way I kind of accept your relationship with Jacaerys" he said making Aestra roll her eyes chuckling with amusement.
"What? He's way better than both of my nephews" the father said raising an eyebrow smilling at his daughter's reaction.
"Here, you are very right" Aestra laughed agreeing to Daemon's words, Jace was the best thing that happened to her and she has thanked the Gods everyday for it.
"Now go in before Rhaenyra will murder us both" Daemon said looking back at the castel, the night has already fallen and the moon was almost up in the dark sky.

The Targaryen princess and her father returned into the castel, the moon was already up in the sky as the night has sat on Dragonstone, the silence on the island was the most peacefull thing a man could ever wish for. The Targaryens could consider themselves lucky to have such a majestic place to settle on whenever they wanted.
Aestra walked on the hall to her chambers while caressing her belly and thinking about this day and how excited she was to become a mother, she could not stop imagining how the baby will look like and she was so nervously impatient to hold it in her arms, whatever the Gods would wish it to be, she will not mind but Joffrey should better keep his uncle intentions away.
With a little giggle as she was lost in her thoughts Aestra opened the door entering her chambers and seeing Jace in the middle of her room made her jump a little.
"Jace, you scared me" Aestra said closing the door behind her.
"Sorry. Are you okay? What happened at dinner?" Jace asked as she walked to him with a happy expression.
"Nothing, I'm fine" Aestra said giving him a soft kiss on the cheek before taking down her cloack and placing it on the back of the chair from her dressing table.
"Are you sure?" he asked not convinced of her respose which seemed a little odd for how she had reacted.
"Jace. I am feeling alright, nothing to be worried about" Aestra spoke cupping his face with her hands looking straight into his chocolate eyes as Jacaerys nodded with a small smile before he kissed her softly on the forhead and pulled her into an embrace.
"Do you really have a name for the baby?" Aestra whispered with her head leaned on his chest as he was caressing her back gently.
"No, I don't" Jace answered making Aestra chuckle slightly looking up at him who was laughing aswell.
"Oh Jace" she shoke her head before she gave him a chest kiss.
"We have all the time in the world" Jace said with a soft smile after they parted from the kiss.
"Joffrey scared me a little tonight with that joke" Aestra spoke sitting down on the bed stroking her belly gently.
"He's eight, he doesn't know what he says or what does it mean when he says it" Jace reasurred her sitting next to her taking ahold of her hand as Aestra nodded with a smile. "And don't be afraid, I will never let any men touch her if it'll be a girl, only with my approval which it will be hard to get" he continued squeezing her hand making Aestra chuckled slightly.
"Your father is going to be very protective" she whispered looking down taking Jace's hand and putting it on her a little grown belly, Jace felt the most luckiest man in this world and he swore deep down that he is going to protect this child with his life.
"Es? Can I ask you something?" Jace asked looking up at her again their eyes meeting once more, the princess responded with a slight nod.
Jace took a deep breath in before speaking "Will you make me the happiest man alive and accept to be my wife? My mother has already spoken to princess Rhaenys and with Baela's requests she accepted to cancel the betrothal between me and Baela. Rhaenys is going to talk to grandsire in the coming moons and—" he was not able to finish his sentences before Aestra pulled him into a kiss full of love and affection feeling the tears forming in her eyes.
"Is this a yes?" he asked a little taken back by her gesture.
"Yes, Jace. It's the most exultant yes I've ever said in my life" Aestra responded with a wide smile as tears of joy began to flow down her cheeks.
"I love you" Jace moved his face closer to her wipping her tears away looking straight into her ocean blue eyes.
"I love you too" she mouthed in a whisper fearing that this was just a beautiful majestic dream and she would wake up soon in the nightmare from the Red Keep.

——————————::———————

After Jace has left her chambers, Aestra put on her night gown and her hair letting loose as she looked at herself in the mirror from her dressing table while brushing her silver curls. What Jace has just proposed to her can be just the most magnificient words she has heard today, the thought of marrying Jacaerys gave her happy chills as she danced around the room humming a song she always thought of especially when she was overjoyed. With a turn her face looked outside the window right at the Dragonmont, it could be seen clearly from Aestra's quarters, her mind going to the moment from this day when Cannibal suddenly freaked out while she was racing with the twins.
"Find me.... Find me..." distant echoes were reaching Aestra's ears as she stared at the huge mountain, it was like she was trapped in a trance.

Aestra.... come.... look for me....

The princess shoke her head stepping away from the window as she hit the chair with her back dropping the hairbrush from her hand as shivers ran down her spine as she twisted her head towards the door. "What is the seven hells is wrong with me?" she thought to herself putting the hairbrush back in itsplace then she inched to her bed sitting on it and taking a deep breath in. It was all in her head and the last days were burnedsome with her name day and the Queen's appearence, like a strange nightmare she had just woken up from.

Find me... now... the echoes became much louder making her head spin as millions of voices were running through her mind simillar to a sick carousel. "Stop, please" Aestra breathed out with her hands on her ears as she fell down from the bed on her knees looking straight at the glorious Dragonmont.

With a dark-blue cloack on her back and a pair of pale-yellow flats, Aestra opened as quiet as she could the door of her chambers seeing that no one was curently wandering the halls making her sigh in relief before she put on the hood to cover her silver hair not wanting for someone to hear or see her.
"It's you and me, bud. I really hope you will not be as stubborn as me" she whispered stroking her belly gently leaning with her back on the wall checking if the hall which led to the outside door was clear, understanding that nobody was there Aestra took the hint and quicked her feet towards the door opening it up with her breath caught in her throat trying to make no noise. Accomplishing to get out of the castel was a relief to Aestra because she did not wish to wake the others just for her silly dreams and stupid imagination so she had to do this on her own.
"Hey! You there!" a sudden voice shouted as Aestra's hands were on the door handle almost making it out.
"Fuck" she mumbled under her breath keeping her head down and not turning around.
"What do you think you are doing?" one of the knights asked as they walked closely to her with their hands of their swords.
"Turn around! Now!" he commanded as Aestra gulped taking her hand off the gab slowly turning around with her head down the hood covering her hair and forhead, thanks to the darkness they could not recognize her.
"Gentlemen, so fancy of you to appear" Aestra said with her hands folded on her back as the knights got taken back by her interesting approach.
"Who are you?" a knight asked with a stern powerful tone.
"The—The Princess Rhaenyra has send me to... to check if you all are doing your jobs properly" the princess snapped taking a deep breath in as the two kinghts looked at each other quite surprised.
"Why would the princess ask such a thing?" one of them uttered raising his eyebrow seeming shocked by that.
"I have no idea. You should go ask her but she won't be very pleased seeing that you put questions and chit-chat with me instead of securying the castel"
Aestra spoke shaking her head as the knights eyed each other a little afraid with an understanding expression.
"Than we shall not bother the princess for this. Good night, my lady" the nights bowed before heading back to the halls that lead to the Chamber of the Painted Table. Aestra sighed in relief opening the door and going out in the cold dark night that collapsed on the island of Dragonstone.

Aestra ran into the Dragonpit, the hood going down from her head revealing her silver locks sparkling similar to the misterious moon.
"i iksin vaoreznuni valītsos yn nyke jorrāelagon aōha" (I am sorry boy but I need your help) Aestra whispered looking around while walking to Cannibal who quickly lifted his snout hearing and sensing the girl's presence.
She climbed on his back before the dragon flew out of the pit right up into the sky.
With fear just like in the afternoon Cannibal took Aestra to the Dragonmont, the blue-eyed princess knew what he felt and she was so angry that he must go through this but she needed to find what was happening into that mountain.
"Kesan sagon sȳz, gaomagon daor sagon zūgagon" (I will be fine, do not worry) Aestra whispered to the dragon as she climbed down the dragon on the solid ground before stroking softly his snout.

As she walked into the dark silent mountain Aestra could see shafts and some stairs which led down into the mountain's heart, an unusual thing for such an old ancient volcano like it. With a little hesiation Aestra put her foot on the first stair before glancing back at Cannibal with a small smile, the dragon groaning scared seeing what his princess was doing. Her hand on the shaft as she took stair by stair walking down into the unknown place that so many people feared, even Rhaenyra and her father had told her about this mountain and that was no place to wander around especially a young girl like herself but most certainly Aestra Targaryen never listened, she was the rogue prince's daughter after all. Getting closer to the end of the long infinite stairs the little flame she had seen up there became bigger and bigger.
"Hello?" Aestra asked her voice echoing into the dark cave, the only sourse of light being the candle from a little desk few feet away from the stairs.
"Little one?" a sudden soft voice cracked into the room making Aestra shiver looking in the left of the room, a figure not taller than her walking slowly towards Aestra who backed away a little scared.
"Who—Who are you?" Aestra asked with shaky tone stopping herslelf as she had hit the wall with her back.
"You know exactly who I am" the figure said coming into the light, dressed up in a dark red gown with sleeves, the brown curly hair loose on her shoulders  as a warm smile was on her face making her ocean-blue eyes shine a bit.
"Mother?" Aestra whispered surprised seeing the woman she had thought was gone, everyone has told her that she was dead, made her heart skip because she had always dreamed of meeting her mother and seeing her face.
The woman smiled warmly opening her arms as Aestra ran and burried her face into her shoulder letting the tears flow from her cheeks. "My little love" the woman spoke caressing Aestra's silver hair gently before cupping her face and kissing her forhead.
"Mom—" the girl sobbed looking straight at her mother's face as the woman caressed her cheeks softly trying to calm her.
"Now listen to me, love. You must hear about this right now" the woman said with a serious voice taking Aestra's hands and squeezing them tightly.
"Dark times are knocking at your doors. The dance is approaching all of you. For that to happen there must be a sacrifice which will be hard to pay" Arwen told her daughter who's breath was caught in her throat trying to understand what her mother wanted to warn her about.
"Mom, I—I don't understand—" Aestra said as the woman let go of her hands and walked slowly towards the table.
"Do you know how the dragons were made?" the woman suddenly asked lifting her fingers above the candle staring into it with her serious gaze.
"I am not sure how..." Aestra answered shaking her head checking every move the woman was doing.
"After the Doom, my father, the God Arrax, wanted to create a creature that could be above all the beings of this world, powerful and fearless but of course it needed a "master" he said, so he allowed the Targaryens to be friends and control the dragons. I did not agree with him my opinion being that dragons must be free and have nobody to tell them what to do or to be put in chains that is why he banished me on earth so I created the wild dragons and they would be the ones to choose their rider, one who they think would be worthy enough of them... and they've chosen you" Arwen spoke turning to Aestra with a wide proud smile, the princess's eyes dilated hearing this strange telling, she has never thought of herself being worthy for Cannibal or Sheepstealer, she thought of them as her friends, part of her family.
A sudden groan was heard behind Aestra making her turn around to see a pale grey-white of a morning mist dragon not so big as Cannibal and Sheepstealer but bigger than Vermax.
"She is Grey Ghost. She, Cannibal and Aerwon, as you named him, were my first creations and my best protectors" Arwen spoke walking behind Aestra and putting her hands on her shoulders.
"And now they are yours" she whispered into her ear as the pale-white dragon bowed down to the princess just like the first two.
"Valītsossa, māzigon kesīr" Arwen talked in high valyrian as Cannibal and Sheepstealer flew down into the cave, Aestra's face surprised as ever.
"Valītsossa, māzigon kesīr" (You are the Dragon Goddess now) Arwen whispered taking her hands slowly from Aestra's shoulders walking back into the darkness of the room disappearing as a ghost but her voice still echoing into the room asthe three dragons bowed down to the silver-haired princess.

The history would not tell much about how she was born or she was created but be certain that the Dragon Goddess was not a myth or a legend, she was as realistic as possible...
