AESTRA STARED at Laena Velaryon's body, now petrified and ready to be thrown into the sea.
"We join today at the Seat of the Sea to commit the Lady Laena of House Velaryon to the eternal waters, the dominion of Merlin King where he will guard her for all the days to come. As she sets the sea for her final voyage, the Lady Laena leaves two true-born daughters on the shore. Though their mother will not return from her voyage, they will all remain bound together in blood." spoke Vaemond Velaryon in high valyrian as everyone listened and thought about the beautiful lady Laena who was gone too soon from this world.
"Salt courses through Velaryon blood. Ours runs thick. Ours runs true. And ours must never thin." continued the man as he stared at Rhaenyra and her boys not believing that Jace And Luke are true-blood Velaryons. Suddenly Daemon started laughing and made everybody to look at him in question, Aestra didn't understand why her uncle would act like that, after all Laena was his lady wife, she knew Daemon was not good at being heartbroken but he could at least try to care.
The men tied up her stone body being ready to throw it in the sea.
"My gentle niece. May the winds be as strong as your back, your seas as calm as your spirit, and your nets be as full as your heart." qouted Vaemond, Aegon could not stand it anymore he just sighed and looked in every directions. "Brother, can you be good-mannered just once? We are at a funeral." whispered Aestra to his brother who sat next to her and hated the way Aegon involved. "Shut up, Aestra! It's not like you are not bored, huh?" rejoinded Aegon stolid bitting his lower lip. The ocean-eyed girl didn't say anything, she did not have to, he was too dumb and moron for her words so she turned her attention to the one who still spoke. "From the sea we came. To the sea we shall return." with that last words Laena Velaryon was lost in the crystalline waves forever only her unforgettable memory will remain to the ones who will cary on.

"Hand turns loom, spool of green, spool of black, dragons of flesh, weaving dragons of thread..." quoted Haelena while playing with a tiny black spider and Aestra listened to her words which were unusual for the Targaryen girl.
"We have nothing in common." spoke up Aegon still looking disgusted at his youger sister. "She's our sister." said defensivelly Aemond which made Aestra smile a little, it was cute that at least one of them cared about Haelena.
"You marry her then." pointed up the eldest sibling wanting to get out of there already. "I would perform my duty if mother had only betrothed us." answered Aemond with a dreamy face and cute smile. "If only..." added Aegon. "It would strengthen the family. Keep our valyrian blood pure." explained Aemond as Aestra looked at both of her brothers very confused, did Aemond really mean it? Would he marry Haelena for the family? Or maybe he loved her..?
"She's an idiot." said Aegon looking at his brother in disgust. "She's your future queen." Aemond defended his sister once again.
"Yeah right." said Aegon rolling his eyes. "I think mother will wed you to Aestra." continued Aegon finishing his drink. The girl was too stunned to speak at what she heard, she would never marry Aemond not even dead. The boy started laughing almost choking " I would rather be eaten by a dragon than marry my twin dismantled sister." said Aemond with hatred against his younger sister.
"Hope to see the day when you'll be eaten by a massive large dragon, lēkia." Aestra told her two brothers as she passed by them. The brothers looked at each other and sighed. "To be true, me and Haelena have something in common." began Aegon as she changed the cup in his hand with the one on the table. Aemond looked at him in question. "We both fancy creatures with very long legs." finished Aegon before he went away.

Aestra walked into the crowd of people, she saw Alicent inspecting Rhaenyra with her eyes, she never understood why her mother hates Rhaenyra so much, of course she wanted her son on the throne but that can't make a difference of her behaviour. Aestra did not bother to think of it anymore because she saw her uncle Daemon whom she did not talk since he came to King's Landing a few weeks ago.
"Uncle!" shouted Aestra from behind the man. "Little dragon." smiled Daemon at his lovely niece. "I'm sorry for your loss, uncle." quoted Aestra looking at the view of the sea in front of her. "Very nice of you. Now what if you go and see Baela and Rhaena." said Daemon with a bright look on his face.
"I never met them." answered Aestra shily. "What if they don't like me?" said Aestra looking at the twins on the bench behind her.
"Oh they will don't trouble yourself." spoke Daemon before leaving for a walk on the beach.

"Hi." waved Aestra shily at the twins who were too sad to notice. 'I'm Aestra but you can call me Es."
"Oh, hi. I am Baela and this is my sister Rhaena. Nice to meet you, Es." smiled forcily the girls before their grandmother came. So Aestra backed away because she didn't want to bother them any longer.
As she turned her away she bumped into someone "Es?" said the person with a happy voice. "Jace!" shouted Aestra before hugging the boy like she would never let go.
"I am so thrilled that we met." spoke happily Aestra as a large smiled was formed on her face.
"Me too. I miss life at King's Landing to be honest." Jace told Aestra as he looked at the girl.
"I hope you lie. Life with brothers like mine could never be missed it could be a gift in you have the chance to leave." explained Aestra as she caught sight of Aegon who was drunk on the stairs of the balcony.
"Yeah. I understand." said Jace as he looked at his uncle too.
"Aestra!" shouted Otto from across the balcony.
"Oh no. Not again." Aestra rolled her eyes as she heard her grandsire calling for her.
"What?" asked Jace confused.
"Otto puts me to do his job, everytime." sighed Aestra on the fact that she must to someone else's work.
"Promise you'll come and live with me and my family, Es. Please." quoted Jace as she took the girl by the hand. Aestra stared at her friend for a moment, she didn't know what to say, she couldn't make it to Dragonstone as long as Alicent existed.
"Sure. You cannot get rid of me that easy, Jacaerys Velaryon." lied Aestra to her friend as she looked at him in the eyes. Jace nodded with a smile and let her go. She just lied to her one and only true friend which she loved most in this world.

——————————::————————

After she took drunk Aegon to his chambers, Aestra went in hers. She didn't like when Otto made her the one who must take care of the eldest son. He is not her responsibility, he is just a dumb and moron boy who thinks the world is full of rainbows.
She twisted her side on the bed and taught about this strange day. What was Haelena prediction about? And is it true that she shall be wed to Aemond, she won't like, she doesn't want to. Even and Aemond and her are twins there are still many differences between them and she could never think of him that way, ugh!
Aestra turned her gaze to the window to stare at the moon unexpectedly a figure flew in front of the moon, it looked like a dragon.

The princess got up of the bed and ran quickly down the hall to rearch a door which led outside instead she find the twins along with Luke and Jace.
"Have you seen that too?" asked Baela tensed up as she looked at her sister.
"Yes. That's why I'm here." responded Aestra quizzically.
"It's Vhagar. My mother's dragon and someone is ridding it. I was suppose to be the one to claim it." explained Baela as the children took down a tunnel which let outdoors.

"It's him" said Baela before she stopped from walking.
"It's me." repeated Aemond as he advanced.
"Vhagar was my mother's dragon." quoted Baela.
"Your mother's dead." said Aemond without carrying.
"So sad Vhagar didn't eat you." spoke up Aestra at her twin very angry on this matter.
"Unfortunately she didn't. Vhagar has a new rider now." responded  Aemond at his sister's comment.
"She was mine to claim." exclaimed Rhaena  at her cousin.
"Then you should have claimed her. Maybe your cousins can find you a pig to ride. It would suit you." joked Aemond at the kids. That's when Rhaena jumped at him, but he throw her away just to get a punch right in his face from Baela who was angrier than ever.
"Come at me again and I'll feed you to my dragon." menaced Aemond with a smiled formed on his face.
Suddenly Jace leaped at him again, but Aemond dropped him on the ground.
"Jace!"shouted Aestra frightened. Then Luke screamed and jumped on Aemond's chest but he punched the little boy in the face and fell on the soil.
"Aemond! Luke!" screamed again Aestra when she saw how Aemond acted. Following, the teins and Jace jumped at Aemond again throwing him on the ground and hitting him with punches. Aestra was too scared to do anything, she just stayed and stared at the scene in front of her.
"Guys! Please stop!" shouted Aestra again but her friends didn't hear her. Aemond hit every one of them by turn and took Luke by his neck and helped himself with rock.
"Aemond! Stop! Now! Please!" begged Aestra tears forming in her eyes.
"You'll die screaming in pain just as your father did. Bastards." qouted Aemond putting accent on his last word as he glanced at Jace who stared at the scene.
"My father's still alive!" cried Lucerys with his nose bleeding and holding his hands on Aemond's arm.
"He doesn't know, does he?" said Aemond smilling evilly at his nephew. "Lord Strong." added the silver-haired boy.
"Aemond! Enough!" shouted Aestra pushing her brother on the ground so Luke could escape.
"You're with them, aren't you?" said Aemond getting up. Aestra looked behind at her friends then at her brother. "Of course you are. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." said Aemond looking directly at Aestra who was holding back her breath. "What?" whispered Aestra staring at the soil.
"You've heard me, hāedar." (younger sister) spoke Aemond before taking a step forward. "Now move!" continued Aemond pushing Aestra violently aside bashing herself of a rock.
That was the moment when Jace pulled out a dagger being ready to fight his uncle. "Jace!" shouted Rhaena bad injured and holding on her sister. Jace made his first shoot but Aemond hit him in the head and he fell down next to Lucerys. Aemond got a rock and lifted up to strike the Velaryon boys.
"No! Aemond!" cried Aestra blood flowing down her hand as the sharpen stone made a wond in her armful. Aemond did not hear her did not want to because there should have been a split of second until the rock could fail on the boys, but something much dreadful happened. Lucerys shuffled to catch the dagger and after his brother throw sand in Aemond's face, he cut off his eye. Aemond screamed in pain putting his palm at his eye, blood leaking through his fingers and tarnishing the yellow sand. Aestra had her mouth full open and her breath caught as she stared at her supposed twin brother then at Jace and Luke then at Baela and Rhaena and at Aemond again.

The guards came in and took the children in the throne hall were everyone wondered what had happened. The maisters sewed up Aemond's eye and told the Queen that the lesion will heal but he will not be able to see with both eyes. Aestra stayed silently near the fire next to her sister Haelena and her brother Aegon.
"Where were you when this happened?" asked angrily Alicent to her eldest son. Aegon didn't dare to look at his mother nor his brother.
"And you." pointed Alicent at the youngest of siblings. "Why are always there where is trouble? Why can't you just stay out of it?!" the Queen kicked off before noticing a grain of blood that dropped from Aestra's left hand.
"What happened to your arm?" asked Alicent clawing at the girl who didn't say anything. "One of them hurt her, mother." spoke up Aemond after the patient was closed.
"What? That is not-" started Aestra shaking her head to Aemond.
"Now you talk, when you shouldn't." Alicent cut her off as she let go of her arm. "I've told you to not spend time with those kids, but you never listen." continued Alicent before going to her youngest son. "But, he's lying." said Aestra defending her friends.
"One more word out of your little mouth and you'll be severally punished, young lady." spoke Alicent threating her daughter.
Just in that moment the doors opened and Rhaenyra entered quickly and really frightened running to her children.
"Jace? Luke! Show me!" said Rhaenyra to her middle son whose nose was awfully bleeding.
"Who did this?" asked the princess as she turned her face at Aemond and Alicent.
"He attacked me!" said Aemond defending himself.
"He attacked Baela! And Aestra!" shouted Jace to protect his brother.
The kids started shouting and fighting over the fact of what happened, but suddenly King Viserys screamed for everyone to stop.
"It was a regretable accident what happened." said Rhaenyra standing in front of her children.
"Accident? The prince Lucerys brought a blade to the ambush. He meant to kill my son." spoke up Alicent angrily as she looked at the patient from Aemond's face.
"It was my sons who were attacked and forced to defend themselves!" shouted Rhaenyra with her hand over Lucerys shoulder.
"Vile insults were levied against them." continued Rhaenyra not taking her gaze from Alicent.
"What insults?" asked Viserys immediatly looking at his daughter.
"The legitimacy of my son's birth was put loudly to question." explained Rhaenyra as she took Luke's palm in hers.
"What?" asked confused Viserys.
"He called us and Aestra bastards. " said Jace silently. The Queen noded and licked her lips as she glanced at Daemon who was leaning by the door, Aestra looking at the Queen in wonder.
"My sons are in line to inherit the iron throne, your grace, so is your daughter. This is the highest of treasons." said Rhaenyra to her father who glared at Daemon, the man searched the place before smirking.
"Prince Aemond must be sharply questioned so we might learn where he heard such slanders." continued Rhaenyra restless.
"Over an insult? My son has lost an eye." signing Alicent furiously.
"Tell me boy, where did you hear this lie?" the King asked his son as he retained on the cane.
"The insult was training yard bluster. The lot of boys. It was nothing." the Queen cut Viserys off as she stood up on her feet.
"Aemond? I asked you a question." continued Viserys to interogate his son and ignoring Alicent.
"Where is Ser Laenor? I wonder the boys' father perhaps he might have something to say in the matter." spoke up Alicent after she turned away her look from Aemond.
"Yes. Where is Ser Laenor?" asked Viserys quickly.
"I do not know your grace. I could not find sleep, I'd gone out to walk." said Rhaenyra lying as Daemon was looking carefully at the scene from afar.
"Entertaining his young squires I would venture." split up Alicent as Ser Criston Cole smiled.
"Aemond, look at me. Your king demands an answer. Who spoke this lies to you?" continued Viserys in Aemond's face. The boy glanced at his mother who had her jaw opened as Viserys looked at her too. Aemond knew he had to lie to protect his mother. "It was Aegon." he said. Viserys lifted up his chin to stare at his eldest son.
"Me?" asked confused Aegon. Aestra didn't understand anything, but she saw something in her asserted family, all of them were liers every single of them. The girl stared at the chair where Aemond was sitting and continued to listen.
"Where did you hear such colonies, boy?" requested the King as his voice showed pure anger.
"Aegon! Tell me the truth of it!" shouted Viserys in his son's face.
"We know, father. Everyone knows." whispered Aegon to his father. "Just look at them."
Everyone stared at Rgaenyra's boys, the mother had tears in her eyes as she waited for an answer.
"It's interminable infighting must cease! All of you." Viserys snapped as he hit the envoy with the cane.
"We are Family." added the king.
"Now make your apologies and show good will to one another." ordered Viserys before he slowly advanced.
Alicent was heartbroken, it could be seen on her face, Aestra saw it, she knew the Queen will want something more.
"That is insufficient. Aemond has been damaged permanently. Good Will cannot make him whole." cried out the red-head woman at her hisband.
"I know Alicent, but I can't restore his eye." kicked off the king.
"No because it's been taken." snapped Alicent back
"What would you had me do?" asked Viserys not liking where the conversation led.
"There is a debt to be paid." said Alicent tears running down her cheeks.
Aestra looked scared at her mother with her lower lip trembling.
"I should have one of her son's eyes in return." said Alicent turning her gaze at Rhaenyra and her kids. Everyone in the room begging to shake.
"My dear wife-" started the King. "He is your son, Viserys. Your blood." cried Alicent at her husband.
"Do not allow your temper to guide your judgement." spoke the king coming closer to his wife.
"If the king will not seek justice, the queen will." said Alicent as Viserys moved away from her.
"Ser Criston bring me the eye of Lucerys Velaryon." ordered the Queen with a cold voice.
"Mother?" said frightened Luke shaking behind Rhaenyra.
"He could use which one to keep, a privilege he did not grant my son." continued Alicent.
"He will do no such thing." commanded Rhaenyra protecting her boy.
Aestra lifted her left arm as blood continued to drop, she looked at it shanking and then back at Rhaenyra and her sons.
"Stay your hand" ordered Viserys.
"No you're sworn to me!" shouted Alicent in the entire room.
Aestra couldn't stand on her foot, her whole body was weak, she has lost too much blood, she wanted to close her eyes but she couldn't because she would fall down and everyone would see her, as she searched the room she caught sight of Jace who was already looking at her very concerned about her statement, she hid her hand behind her back so he wouldn't notice it.
"Why are you hiding it?" asked Haelena looking at her sister.
"I'm not hiding anything, Haelena." spoke Aestra staring at the ground.
"As your protector, my queen." said Ser Criston clearing everyone's worrisome
"Alicent, this matter is finished. Do you understand?" ordered Viserys in his wife's face.
"And let it be known. Anyone who's tongue has to question the birth of princess Rhaenyra's sons and of my daughter Aestra, should have it removed." commanded Viserys so the whole crowd heard him.
"Thank you father." said Rhaenyra before turning around at her kids. Aestra couldn't stand there any longer, it hurt too much, the pain was too deep and she was too young. Suddenly everyone in room started to panick because the Queen draw the knife from Viserys and moved forward at Lucerys who started screaming, Daemon moved quickly to stop Ser Criston. Rhaenyra turned around and caught Alicent by the arm holding the blade in the air. Aestra wanted to disappear, she never suffered a shock like that in her entire life. She wanted to cry, to scream, to hit, but somehow she was safe because of him. He took her by the hand and drag her with him to protect her, he knew she was safe with his family, that was what he wanted.
"You've gone too far, Alicent." said Rhaenyra handling the Queen's force.
" I?! I've done but what was expected of me." said Alicent as Rhaenyra looked at the dagger in her hand.
"Forever. Aboarding the Kingdom. The Family. The law." cried Alicent in defence.
"Alicent let her go!" ordered Viserys from behind the women.
"Where is duty? Where is sacrifice? Is trampled under your pretty foot again." cried Alicent anger flood in her voice
"Release the blade, Alicent." said Otto Hightower, shocked from his daughter action.
"And now you take my sons eye, even that you feel entitled." said Alicent not releasing the blade but pushing it further.
"Exhausting, wasn't it? Hiding behind the cloack of your own righteousness. Now they see you as you are." added Rhaenyra  to her former friend, that made Alicent more angrier so she cut into Rahenyra's arm and thrown herself back to Viserys. As she saw the blood falling from Rhaenyra's palm, Alicent dropped the blade on the floor and was shocked at what she did.
Aestra never wanted to witness such a thing, and now was afraid of the Queen more than ever....

The next day Rhaenyra's family had gone to Dragonstone along with Daemon as her new husband, Ser Laenor was dead. Aestra didn't say anything to none of them, she didn't have the strenght to, but she managed to say goodbye to Jace and Luke once again who were sad that they will be apart again, Daemon smiled and kissed her on the forhead not wanting to tell her the truth yet before taking his stepsons on the board, Rhaenyra assured her with the look that she will be safe.
Aestra was now again left alone with the people she hated most in the world and who treat her like ought. All she could think was the day that she will go on Dragonstone, to her real family...
