Baek Hana pondered, and an image of Sun-Jae's cheeks that ablaze with hues came into her mind. First red, then pink, then fading into lifeless white, before the world around her seemed to turn a blinding black.

Baek Hana had it all . . . until she didn't.

She couldn't help but feel a pang of disgust at her own selfishness. Hana couldn't escape the haunting realization that she was to blame for Sun-Jae's death.

It started with their breakup. Sun-Jae had proposed, his eyes full of hope and love, but Hana, consumed by her fear of losing her career, had said no. She had chosen fame over love, believing she was doing what was best for both of them. But her decision had shattered Sun-Jae, breaking something inside him that could never be repaired.

But perhaps the most painful realization was that she had been blind to his suffering. She had been so caught up in her own fears and ambitions that she had failed to see the signs of his inner turmoil. She had failed to see the depth of his love and the extent of his pain.

Now, as she stood in this strange new world, fifteen years in past, with her dead best friend from her school still alive, her heart heavy with regret, she vowed to make things right. She would save her best friend and Sun-Jae, no matter the cost. She would change the past and rewrite the future, even if it meant sacrificing everything she held dear.

one, okay . . . so I am again in my era of "write what to want to read" and here I am with a lovely runner fic. Ngl the show is a bit complicated with time jumps and with an og character in the mix, it gets even more complicated. But don't worry I have everything planned (not really, but whatever). Buckle up for a ride where you'll get experience of mixture of your fav dramas, from 20th century girl to my demon, it has elements from both. So yeah!
