CALIA STARES AT HER BEST FRIEND in shock, tears welling in her eyes. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Stella stares at her a small smile on her lips.
"New magic." Stella says softly.
Her voice makes Calia's body relax. She wipes a stray tear from her face. "You've-You've had some practice."
"Yeah." Stella chuckles lightly. The two girls continue to stare at each other, Calia is first to make a move, rushing into the arms of her best friend. "I've been waiting for this for weeks."
Calia hugs her tighter. "So have I."
The two stay in each others embrace for a couple more seconds before Calia pulls away, leaving her hands on her shoulders, looking the girl over. She could see how tired and drained the girl was. "How long have you been hiding in here, Stels?"
"A few days." Stella doesn't meet her gaze.
"Come on." Calia takes her hand, dragging her to sit on the bed. "Talk to me. What happened?"
Stella swallowed harshly before speaking. "Everything was fine at first, but...she ruined my happiness. She's probably looking for me along with a whole army."
"Stels? Are you sure this won't be the first place she looks at?" Calia asks, holding the girls hand in her lap.
"No." Stella shakes her head. "Not the first place. To do that she'd have to admit to Farah that she lost control of something and that will never happen. Project, strength and power. Never show weakness. That's all she fucking cares about. I'm just an extension of her strength. My magic has to be powerful at any cost. You know that's what she's been teaching me since I was young."
Calia could see the girl was on the verge of breaking down, causing her to react and bring the girl into her arms, holding her as she spoke again. "She taught me...when positive emotions didn't work, she went straight to negative. Hard. My-My magic is erratic because of her, you know that. You know about Ricki and I-I didn't mean to hurt her."
"I know, Stel, trust me I know." Calia runs a hand through her hair comfortingly. "She caused you to lose control, it wasn't your fault, Stella not at all. Your mother needs to learn that she can't control you and make you into her little puppet, not anymore. It's slowly draining you and you don't deserve that, you're too young."
Stella sniffles. "I'm scared, Cal. I have no control. I don't know what to do."
"Right now, don't worry about your future, worry about now and how you can start to gain control of what is yours." Calia sits her up, so they were eye to eye. "Take control of what belongs to know, you breathing tactics, or things that help you stay calm. We can start there and move forward, but right right, you are safe and you can relax. Take a breath and relax, Stels. I'm not going anywhere."
"I love you, Cal." Stella wraps her arms around the girl.
"I love you so much more, Stel." Calia kisses her cheek. "Now let's watch some shows and maybe even nap."
"I like the sound of that."

"I fall in love with them more everyday, Stella." Calia gushes. "I don't understand how it's even possible."
"You guys are—."
"I just don't know what else we can do." The two best friends hear Terra's voice outside the door.
"Hide." Calia whispers to Stella who made herself invisible once again. Not seconds after, there was a knock on Calia's door. She gets up opening the door, seeing Terra, Musa and Aisha at her door. "Have you been here all day? Did you not get my texts?"
"Uh." Calia leaves her door open and rushes to her phone, opening it and immediately seeing all the messages she was sent by the girls. "Um, I did now...I was busy with—."
"If you say Riven and Sky, I will throw up." Musa pipes in.
"You're just jealous that us three did it before you and—."
"Look, it doesn't matter." Aisha rolls her eyes. She holds up a small gadget in her hand. "We stopped Bloom."
"From what exactly?" Calia tilts her head. "There's so many things you could've stopped her from and—."
"From breaking Beatrix out." Aisha cuts her off. "She's loosing it. I know I said we wouldn't, but I wonder if we have to tell Dowling."
"Go right ahead." Calia smiles at them and goes to walk away, but a force pushes her back. She stumbles as she grumbles under her breath looking at Stella. "Why would you do that? I don't care about what Bloom does. I told you that."
"Who-Who are you talking too?" Terra gives her an odd look.
Calia glances at the three of them, their confused stares making her sigh. "Come out, Stel."
Stella let's out a breath before she snaps her fingers, letting herself be seen by the other three. "I have an opinion. Everyone in this damn suite is so black or white. Bloom is a pain in the arse, but she deserves to know who she is, not the stories the faculty is telling her."
"But she's doing it the wrong way." Calia tells her. "She's getting people hurt, putting people in danger."
"So teach her how to now get people hurt by trying to figure out who she is. You out of all people understand what she's going through the most." Stella says bluntly. "Now, we can worry about being right, or we can help our friend—."
"She's an associate." Calia corrects, she looks at her friends who all give her a disapproving look. "To me at least."
"Let's go help, Bloom." Musa smiles, the others agreeing with the mind fairy.
"Let's go help, Bloom." Calia mumbles, she walks to her room. "Just let me change into something that's not shorts and a crop top."
"I'm sure Riven and Sky would've liked the view." Stella jokes as she follows the girl into the room.
"I'm sure Sky and Riven aren't the only two that like the view." Calia gives Stella a wink, making the blonde laugh.
"And they're back." Aisha comments watching their room door close.
"Kinda happy their happy to be back together." Terra adds. "They need each other honestly."
The four girls were now outside, walking up to where Bloom sat on a bench in the middle of Alfea, staring off into space. They all stop a few feet away, all eyes go onto Calia, who sighs. "I'll go."
"I was going to force you if you said no anyway." Stella shrugs. Musa and Terra nodding in agreement. Aisha stood back, she wasn't ready to talk to Bloom...at least that's what Calia thought.
"I bet you were." Calia rolls her eyes and walks towards the red head, hands in pocket as she sits down next to the girl. It stood silent for a couple of moments, tension in the air.
"Spill it." Bloom tears the silence apart. "We both know what you're here, so just speak already and get it over with."
Calia runs a hand through her hair, turning her gaze to the fairy next to her. "I know you need and want answers. People have been keeping them from you, and none of us want to be those people to you, but you have to understand that you aren't alone. You aren't the only one without answers and I know it's harder for you, but getting people hurt for your own gain shouldn't be how it works. I'll help you, as much as you you want, but it has to be on my terms."
Bloom looks at her, taking in what she said. Her terms. Bloom didn't know if she liked that, if she was being honest. She goes to respond, but Calia stops her. "Don't give me an answer now, talk to the girls by yourself. When you're ready and have really processed what I said, come to me, okay?"
Bloom nods and with a small smile, Calia gets up and goes to walk away, but Bloom calls to her. "Calia, um, you should go check on Sky."
"Why?" Calia's eyebrows raise, eyeing the girl.
"I may or may not have knocked him out when he tried to stop me from breaking Beatrix out." Bloom says nervously, playing with her fingers.
"You little—." Calia goes to attack her, but she's stopped by Musa and Stella, the mind fairy reading her the second Bloom said what she said. "Let me go!"
Musa let's the girl go and Calia rushes away from girls and into the building in search for her soulmates. If she found one, she found the other.

"Sky?! Riven?!" Calia shouts as she runs down the specialist hallway, where their dorm was. She earned weird looks and even whistles and as disgusted as she was, she ignored them and continued her search.
"Calia." She hears a voice call to her at the end of the hall. She lets out a breath when she sees Sky there, leaning with his back against the wall, hand on temples.
Calia rushes to him, her hands going to the side of his face, looking him over, checking for any wounds. Sky allows her to, missing her comforting touch.
"Are you okay?" Calia questions, pushing the blonde hair away from his eyes. "And don't lie, Bloom told me."
"I'm fine, love." Sky moves his hands from his head to his girlfriend's waist. "Just tired, that's all."
"You sure?" Calia asks again, earning a nod from Sky. She gives him a relieved smile before leaning up and connecting her lips with his. "Good, because if you weren't, I would've went back out there and actually kill her."
"I wouldn't let you go alone with murder." Sky retorts, once again pecking the girls lips.
"You two are hot." A voice says from behind them, Calia turns and sees Riven. She moves from Sky's arms and goes to Riven, wrapping her arms around him, the boy kissing her cheek and then pecking her lips. He looks to Sky. "You okay? You look like shit."
"I feel like it too." Sky leans his head back against the wall. "If you give me back, our girl, I think I can feel better in a few seconds, tops."
Riven chuckles along with Calia, the girl moving back into Sky's arms, wrapping her arms around his waist, laying her head on his chest as Riven went to speak again. "So, Terra my super spy got Dane to spill."
"About what exactly?" Calia wonders.
"He said Bloom went out there to do something with a magic key, and I couldn't reach you—."
"Where's Dane?" Sky interrupts him.
"He's gearing up." Riven answers, giving Sky his gear.
"Pleas tell me Beatrix is still—."
"She's still locked up." Riven reassures the girl, placing a hand on her cheek softly. "But, there's, um bigger problems."
"What's going on?" Sky plays with the ends of Calia's hair as she turns to face Riven, her back against Sky and Riven's hand still on her cheek.
"Silva needs us at the Barrier." Riven looks between the two. "Me and Sky only."
"Hell no." Calia shakes her head. "I'm not leaving you two alone. I'm going with you guys."
"Darlin'—."
"We work better together. All three of us." Calia gives them a pleading look. "Please, let me go. My father will have to understand. I can't just sit here and wait for you guys to come back or not. I can't! Especially knowing I could've went to protect you both, so please."
Sky and Riven look at her begging eyes, they simultaneously run a hand through their hair before nodding. Sky points to her. "But you stay next to us at all time, understand?"
"That's my plan." Calia nods, she grabs their hands, pulling them to walk. "Now let's go, I need to hear up. We don't have time to waste."
"I forgot how bossy you were." Riven grumbles which earned him a slap to the chest and then a laugh from Sky.

Calia stood in between, Sky and Riven as they stood in front of the barrier. The girl ignored her father's eyes as she brought her hand up to the barrier.
She was the only one that could hear the Burned one as to Farrah, Calia didn't know how she knew about her connection to the thing, but she did and now she was the one to hear it out. She was in charge, much to her father's dismay.
Calia closes her eyes, waiting for the Burned one to call her name, but all she heard was loud growling and snarling. No calling of her name, but she knew it was bound to come because the snarling was from the Burned one.
Calia
Calia
Calia
She was right, as always. She looks towards her father and the other teachers, giving them a nod. They get ready as they observe the woods, getting ready for the Burned one to show itself.
"How many of them are there?" A voice asks from behind them, they all turn to see Aisha.
"Get back to the school! You should let be this close to the barrier." Farrah tells her sternly.
"It's no time for extra credit." Silva pipes in.
"I'm not looking for extra credit." Aisha remarks. "I'm here because you need to know what's happening... Bloom is letting Rosalind and Felicity out."
"What?" Calia felt her body freeze, the two boys next to her having to hold her up, keeping her stable.
