CALIA WALKS THROUGH the court yard of Alfea. The car had just dropped her off and if she wasn't feeling nervous before, she was now. She felt sick to her stomach. Just being in the court yard brought her deja vu.

The Silva girl stops, looking around as she takes a big breath in to try and calm her nerves. Calia hated that her father couldn't be here to guide her because being gone only for a couple of months, caused to forget which building was which.

Rolling her shoulders back, she exhales and continues on her way. She prayed to herself that she wouldn't bump into her two soulmates. She couldn't. No matter the distance, the bond caused her to feel the emotions they felt and most of it wasn't happy. She knew that it was on her.

"Calia?" Calia froze in her tracks, the angles above ignored her prayers. You would think her mother would at least be there for her in heaven or wherever, right?

Calia slowly turns towards the voice. Her eyes widen just a bit. "Sky."

"You're back." Sky says in more of a whisper. He could notice the girl anywhere.

The Silva girl nods and gives him a small smile. "I'm back."

"You're back." Sky repeats again, a wide smile on his face. He moves forward and pulls the girl into his hug. Calia felt her nerves calm down as she hugged him back. "I can't believe it."

"Me either." Calia mumbles as she pulls away, already missing his touch. "Y-You look good, Sky."

"You look even better." Sky eyes her. God did he miss her. She looked beautiful. Sky clears his throat. "Let me help you. You look a bit—."

"Lost?" Calia cuts him off. "Because I am. This place has changed."

"No." Sky shakes his head. "You just left, so..."

Calia looks down at her shoes, not daring to say a thing. There was nothing for her to say. Sky once again clears his throat, breaking the awkwardness. "Um, what-what hall are you staying in?"

"I don't know." Calia gives him a small shrug. "In search for my father, I guess he's been busy, which led him to not tell me where I will be staying."

Sky goes to speak, but a voice from behind Calia interrupts him. "Quit perving on the first years." Calia knew that voice all too well.

"It isn't a first year." Sky remarks. Calia squeezes her eyes shut as she turns around slowly. She exhaled and her eyes slowly open, her hazel eyes clashing with a pair of blueish-green eyes.

"Lia." Riven looks at her in shock, taking in her appearance. She looked like an absolute beauty. He didn't understand how she could change so much in a handful of months.

Calla's heart fluttered at the sound of her nickname coming from his mouth. "Riv."

"What are you doing here?" Riven's gaze now turns hard, he crosses his arms over his chest. "Why are you back?"

"Riven." Sky glares at him, smacking his chest.

"I'm just back." Calia says shyly. She looks between the two. "Look, I'm going to go. It-It was amazing seeing you both."

With that, Calia turns around and walks away, she didn't 100% know where she was going, but it was better than being in front of the two people she left for in the first place. She ignored the eyes on her back as she walked away.

"She's back." Sky looks at her retreating figure, a smile on his lips.

"She is." Riven hums, his heart rate showing down. "I wanna know why she left in the first place."

"It's not our business." Sky tells him as they begin to walk.

"Hell it isn't!" Riven scoffs. "She left me-us without a goodbye."

"And I'm sure she had a good reason." Sky tries to reason with the boy. "When she's ready, she'll fess up."

"Dad!" Calia cheers happily as she runs towards him. Saul happily wraps her into a hug, catching her.

"My sweet girl." Saul kisses the side of her head. He puts her down and looks her over. "It been what? 4 months and you've grown so much. Your hair has gotten so long."

"It's actually been 4 and half." Calia corrects. "And the hair products in the otherworld are way better than the ones here."

"Obviously." Saul takes a piece of his daughters hair and pulls gently. Calia glares at him slapping his hand away. "Ow! I just wanted to make sure it was real."

Calia rolls her eyes. "Of course it is. I'm not the one losing my hair as time passes."

"You just get here and you already break my heart." Saul puts a hand on his chest. "And here I thought you missed me."

"You thought wrong, obviously." Calia jokes as she sits on a chair by his desk.

"And yet another heartbreak." Saul sits in front of her. "You're on a roll."

"Thank you." Calia grins.

Silence fills the air and Saul speaks again, breaking it. "Have you seen—?"

"The both of them." Calia answers. "Right when I walked in."

"Thank god." Saul let's out a breath. Calia gives him a look. He puts his hands up defensively. "It's a good thing! Now it won't be as awkward during training."

"Speaking of." Calia ignores his statement. "When is the training and what hall will I be in? Please tell me it's with you."

Saul looks at his watch. "Training starts in about an hour and you'll be in the fairies hall."

"What?" Calia stands up abruptly. "Why?"

"One because you need to actually interact with people and two because you need to tap into your magic more with others. That's what your mother would've wanted." Saul states. The mother card. He always used it to make his daughter oblige to something. It was annoying.

"Of course it is." Calia walks over and grabs her bags to where she dropped them before hugging her father. "Tell me the room, please?"

"Sweetheart, don't be mad—."

"Dad, please." Calia turns towards him
again.

Saul sighs with a nod. "I'll take you."

Calia nods and allows her father to walk ahead of her as she follows him towards her room. She only hoped that her roommates would be somewhat bearable.

Calia walks nervously towards her fathers training area. She had the pleasure of meeting one of her roommates. Her name was Terra. She was nice and she could tell she was obsessed with plants, meaning she was a earth fairy.

Calia was nervous, she thought about turning back over five times, but she had to force herself to stop. She had to face them and she had to take her time doing so.

When she got to the training area, her eye instantly caught sight of the two boys, sparing and in a full conversation. She walked a bit closer, just enough to hear their conversation.

"What is it with you?" Riven speaks, hitting Sky back.

"I missed my best friend, Riv." Sky says as they circle each other.

"And you don't think, I missed her?" Riven's voice was filled with hurt.

"I know you did." Sky says as he blocks hits from Riven. "It's what's making you slow, right now."

Riven scoffs and says nothing as he goes and continues to attack Sky. Sky was able to sweep Riven's legs making him drop. Sky looks down at him. Riven looks at him, giving him a look. "She has nothing to do with it."

Calia left it at that, she walks towards her father, who was talking to first years. He glances at his daughter and looks to the first years. "Guys, this is Calia Silva, my daughter. Not only does that make her great, but she is one of the strongest specialists and fairy around. Her magic is unique and is one that goes down in history books."

"Dad." Calia mutters, but Saul ignores her.

"Fairies can't be a specialist." One of the first years say.

"You want to be proven wrong?" Calia tilts her head at him. Her eyes glowing their sparkling white color. The boy shakes his head rapidly.

"She still has her spunk." Riven whispers. The one thing that caused him to fall in love with her.

"With everything I told you." Saul gestures to his daughter and Sky who walked towards them. "You can fight like them. Give them a show you too."

"Dad—."

"Come on, Calia." Sky smirks at her. "Lets show them how best friends reunite."

Best Friends

Calia eyes him, her eyes going to Riven who was looking at her. She looked back towards Sky and nodded. "Let's do it."

Everyone moves back giving them space. Sky and Calia circle each other, Calia pulling out her sword from her holster. Sky swings at her, their swords clashing. Calia does a spin, her leg hitting right in the middle of Sky's chest, he stumbles.

Calia goes with her sword again, but Sky manages to block it. Calia turns their swords around, forcing his sword to the ground. Sky quickly takes one of his knife's and goes to attack her, but Calia catches him off guard with a kick to the stomach. He groans and looks back at her, her weapons down. She won. Everyone claps watching in amazement.

Calia turns her head to look at the first year who talked in the beginning. "What's your name?"

"D-Dane."

"You wanna doubt a fairy again, Dane?" Calia raises an eyebrow.

"No. Never again." Dane shakes his head.

"You favored your left." Calia tells Sky, putting her sword back in her holster. She gives his sword to him. "But that's nothing new. Still haven't learned?"

"You haven't been there to teach me." Sky remarks.

"You've had my other half." Calia says gesturing to her father, ignoring the pain in her chest. Sky only shakes his head and turns to walk away.

"Just like these two, you must show and put out work." Saul speaks to the first years, squeezing his daughters shoulder in congratulations. "I expect nothing less from the rest of you, whether you're third generation and your parents demanded you come, or if I personally selected you from your realms for service."

"I'm gonna go." Calia mumbles to her father. "I promise not to be late tomorrow."

"Better not be." Saul gives his daughter a look before turning back to his students. Calia wraps her fingers around her sword as she walks away from the group.

"Maybe he was just old. People get old, die. We all die." Terra rambles on.

"That old-age decapitation really sneaks up on you." Calia looks to her other roommate, Musa speaks. The girl was a mind fairy, one that stood to herself.

"Happened to my nan right in the middle of bingo. Just...thwop, thwop, thwop. Down the table." Aisha pipes inc another one of her roommates. A water fairy she was.

Then then was Bloom who was a fire fairy and she sadly had Stella, a light fairy, specifically one that use to be in love with her soulmate. She and Stella were two second years that were in a room full of first years. It annoyed her, but she didn't mind them. She only minded Stella.

"A million calories a day, right?" Calia asks Aisha.

Aisha smiles at her. "Yup, if I didn't swim, I'd be massive."

"Same with me, when it comes to training." Calia adds. "I use to be thinner than a piece of paper, until I figured out what diet I should be put on."

"Hey, not trying to sound mean, but why are you in a room full of first years and in a fairy hall?" Musa questions. "I mean your Silva's daughter."

"Doesn't mean as much as you think here." Calia starts. "But I left last year, mid way into the season, during that time I focused more on my specialist training than my fairy training and my father wants it to the opposite now."

"And what kind of fairy are you?" Aisha asks, taking a bite out of a breadstick.

"It's-It's complicated." Calia rubs the back of her neck. "I'm a pure blooded fairy—."

"You hold all the fairy factors." Terra looks at her with wide eyes.

"Yes, but it's not as cool as it sounds..." Calia trails off. "I'm going to get a drink, maybe dance. Have fun you guys, make the best out of it...trust me...or don't."

Calia turns and walks away, she felt eyes on her and when she looked in the direction she sensed them in, she saw Riven staring at her. She gives him a small smile, Riven only giving her a look of disbelief.
