Today was the day of our second fundraiser, we figured we would have 4 fundraisers before our magazine debut. This event was special though. It was more like a party to celebrate. Special Artiste would come to perform and give speeches.

The venue was at a hall, a fancy one at that. The decorations were colour-coded, white and gold. I wore a white blazer with gold buttons on it, I had a white skirt to match with it. I did my hair in a sleek back ponytail.

The whole stall was matching with the white suits, which means Simon and I would be matching. That made me blush, Okay Aurora, you're in a public setting, get yourself together.

Then, Simon walks in, He is wearing a white suit with gold buttons just like mine. Although the staff were matching, it seemed like him and I were matching on purpose, like a couple.

Okay, now my thoughts are getting out of hand, he walks over to me and we greet each other. During preparations for the party, I could hear the whispers from the staff saying how we looked like a power couple and I could tell he heard them too but his face was cherry red.

I realised I forgot to tell him how much we made from the last fundraiser. We made a total of $30,680 with 1534 guests from the entrance fee plus $5824 from food stalls, the workers took half of their total made at the stall as their payment which is why it's low despite having that amount of guests attending.

Soon, the party began, the entrance fee was $25. Simon and I stood by the DJ booth and watched over as crowds of people came in and immediately went by the bar to order cocktails and margaritas.

Simon even went down to buy us cocktail specials and I knew the ingredients so he had no chance of triggering my allergies again. He brought me a pineapple cocktail and a beer for himself.

We stood side by side as we laughed together. We even went on the dance floor and did some dances. We had some intimate moments where I felt like we would've kissed but we were in a professional setting and it might have been inappropriate since one, we weren't even a couple and two, we were the host and hostess of the event.

Then it was time for the speech, this time, Simon was next to me and we were prepared. We stepped on stage and announced the first speech giver, Rosette Cole.

Rosette provided a wonderful speech on her art that she provided the company with and how excited she is to see her work in a magazine and being bought.

She received a round of applause and I thanked her for coming on stage to talk. There were a few more speech givers and then it was time for Simon to give a closing speech.

He stepped into the light and expressed his appreciation from his company to mine.

"I waited for a moment like this where I would be working even harder and have an outcome" He says.

"I would also like to express my feelings to an ex-crush, who is none other than Aurora Miller, the hostess " He continues.

My face turns into an expression that says 'Woah, I'm surprised'. While I stood there, a spotlight shined unto me so that both of us were the only visible people on stage.

"Aurora and I met when I was 17 and she was 16, I loved her but she was too busy participating in competitions" he chuckled.

"I left the city that week and moved on, but I felt like I had a missing piece that needed to be fixed" He continues.

"And when I met her again, it fixed but I refused to love her again because I was afraid to be let down again" He says while I wipe a tear.

"After spending time with you, I am willing to take that risk and love you" he says again.

"So Aurora Miller, Marketer of MMP, the missing piece that I needed, Will you go on a date with me? " He asks.

The staff then handed me a mic while I was wiping my tears. I replied with a yes and we hugged. The crowd erupted in cheer and applause. I felt so overwhelmed and happy.

"I won't let you down again" I whispered in his ear.
