|Blood|

The room once again became silent. Everyone except for bella had been looking around at each other. Bella sighs loudly bringing everyone's attention to her.

"So he's thirsty.." She says more as a statement, peering her head to look at Edward.

"His craving is not gonna want animal blood." Edward stayes wearing, looking at Bellas stomach in concern.

"Aaand that's my cue." Blaise pats his thighs getting up from his seat next to Thea and leaving to go do...whatever.
Kissing thea's cheek lightly before he leaves.

Blaise couldn't really stand being around blood-well human blood atleast. He just hated it, the way it smelled, the way it looked, all of it. If he could he would vomit at the sight of it. He's somehow ok with animal blood, that's how he eats of course. It was apparently something about human blood.

Thea of course knew why so she understood and respected that.

When they first met while they were both still human, he hated blood back then so much that if he were to see it, he'd throw up. That of course amongst other things traveled on with him into his 'eternal life'.

Once Blaise was out the room, Carlisle started talking.

"I have some negative O-9 outside for bella." He mumbles, walking out go get it as Thea presumed.

Alice pulls Jasper out the room the both of them announcing that they where going on a walk. Rosalie sends a look across the room to Emmett and the buff male raises his hands in surrender moving out the room.

Theodosia rubs small circles into Bellas back in anticipation.

Carlisle re-enters the room, blood bag in hand as he squeezes the containments into a white foam cup.

"Wait, wait, wait, your gonna make her drink that?" He asks disgust covering his features.

"Fastest way to test the theory." Thea speaks up. Looking at the boy.

Theodosia on the other hand never really had a problem with blood. Yes it was extremely hard for her to transfer over to the Cullen's vegetarianism, but once she did and stuck to it it became easier.

Plus she had the rest of the cullen's to help her.

"Only if your comfortable with it." Edward pipe ups.

Thea stands up from the armchair and softly walks over to carlisle taking the foam cup from him and turning towards Bella.

"Don't push it." Theodosia says gently leaning over and handing the cup over to Bella.

She stands up again and after exchanging a worried glance with rosalie, she takes her seat back at the armchair.

The deathly pale pregnant woman takes a sip through the clear stream, taking in the thick tar-like crimson liquid.
She stops swallowing the blood slowly, the tension so thick in the room that you could practically cut it with a knife.

"Taste..." She starts trailing off. "Good." Bella finishes. And almost everyone let's out a breath.

Bella continues to drink from the white cup and carlisle leans down beside her. Pressing two fingers gently to her neck.

"Her pulse is already getting stronger." He announces happily.

"It's working." Esme says and rose pulls her into a side hug.

"Perfect." Thea smiles looking down slightly at Bella. Happy that the kids not going to die.

"It worked." Thea grins bearing the good news to Blaise. She was originally supposed to find emmett but hey, no one could ever really find him when he disappears to the surrounding forest.

Since the not really surprising discovery, the house's energy had been way lighter now that (mostly) everyone wasn't worried about Bella or the baby.

Thea was currently laying with Blaise in their bed, watching some show neither of the two where really paying attention to it.

"What'd you do?" She asks looking up from his chest to his face. Quirking her eyebrow up curiosily.

"Nothing really." He answer shortly, smoothing her hair with his hand.

The room is filled with comforting silence for a few minutes, before blaise interrupted it.

"So," He started dramatically lifting her up to face her. "Why do you want that baby to live so badly?" He asks a slight smile on his face.

"Well firstly, rose has always wanted a kid and I made a smallish promise to help her if it was possible. So that's what I'm doing." She answers looking him directly in the eye and smiling slightly. "Plus," She sighs tucking a stray behind her ear.

"I think it would be a nice change of pace with a baby." She finishes looking down at their conjoined hands.

Thea lightly kisses blaise giggling as he pulls her down with him into the bed. Her head returns to his clothed chest once again nuzzling into him and focussing her eyes on the screen.

"I honestly don't think that this fetus should have been created but now that it is.." He trails off into her hair.

Thea's cold hands slowly trace small 'I love you''s into his stomach absentmindedly as she hums in acknowledgement.

"We can't stop him." She finishes emphasizing on the him.
"Do you think he'll kill bella?" She asks him quietly. "Yeah." He answers.

Thea couldn't help but feel the same way. Bella's a human giving birth to a vampire baby. As unheard of as it is, nothing good is going to come from that.
All she could do is hope for the sake of Edward that her feeling was wrong.

She couldn't imagine being in Edwards place having just gotten his soulmate after watching her ditzily flirt with dogs and such then after he finally marries her, she starts slowly seemingly dying. She wondered how he hasn't gone crazy yet.

Thea doesn't know how she would react if the situations were switched.
And Bella and Jacobs 'thing' doesn't make anything better.

Thea had specific bonds with every Cullen, with rose like a twin, Eddie a younger/older brother, Blaise a soulmate, and so on. So if anyone messed with any of the Cullen's she would be rightfully, royally pissed.

Even Blaise who was a sarcastic little shit sometimes, he cares deeply for the people he called family.
Even if he rarely shows it.
That's why the couple had such a problem with clumsy,indecisive, innocent Bella.
