A/n: Hey guys, wedding day finally here lol. Might be really cringe I dunno.

Still editing, excuse the errors.

P.s: I pictured something like this for the wedding dias.

The venue set for the Classico-Sommers wedding was spectacular sight to behold that was the very picture of grand, breathtaking and detailed.

Dino had made the wedding a late morning affair, allowing the brightest rays of the pale golden sun to illuminate the colours of the surroundings making the atmosphere bright and inviting.

A grand pergola garden dome made of white marble stood as the wedding alter at the front of the gardens with two water fountains flanking it.

The pillars of the Victorian pergola dome were decorated with vines and delicate flowers the shade of crimson and lilac; creating an intimate cocoon like feeling where the couple would exchange their vows.

Rows of seats where set up flanking the smooth paved aisle. Satin material the colour of pearl and ruby hung in low drapes suspended by short pillars which outlined the wedding aisle.

Dino left no stone unturned to the simple garden venue into a paradise like realm with blooms that coloured and perfumed the area with their unique scent.

The water features were placed calculatively in spots that would catch the sun, creating a rainbow mist that would last for the day.

With the combined effort of his interest in science and Marietta's expertise in flowers, the two had the guests fixated in a total awe.

The groom in question arrived two hours early, excitement jittering through him.

Sneaking into a private changing room he collapsed into a chair with a heavy sigh that spoke of a restless sleep.

He tried to collect his thoughts as the guests streamed in one after the other.

The sight brought in an old bout of anxiety.

Despite being deeply in love with Catherine, an old sense of fear and panic rattled in him as the nostalgic air of pre-wedding build up, stealing his happy moments away once again.

He recalled the one time his bride ran off down the aisle halfway through the vows.

His yellow-sapphire eyes squeezed shut, trying to banish the bitter past but after experiencing over seven unsuccessful marriages, Dino couldn't help but be filled with worry and dread instead of eagerness and joy.

The guests streamed in at a steady pace, each of them dressed to their finest, their clothing and accessories boasting their rankings and opulence.

Ideally he would be expected to formally greet and thank the guests while everyone awaited the arrival of the bride.

Albrecht took the liberty of welcoming everyone, providing eloquent reasons for the grooms absence.

The Classico staff stood at the entryway of the waiting room, ushering in guests and offering them refreshments.

After one of the most important guests had been welcomed and seen to, Albrecht excused himself to check on his Master.

A soft tap on the door announced his presence which Dino promptly allowed into the room.

"You seem pale my Lord. Would you like me to get you a glass of blood cherry juice?" He asked obsequiously.

Dino silently shook his head, his eyes distant in thought. The butler noticed a flash of insecurity pass through his golden coloured eyes.

"If I may be so bold as to speak, this wedding is unlike the others my Lord. This one is a marriage of love." Albrecht said in a soft voice.

Glancing to his side, Dino noted the look of pride and happiness in his butlers eyes that seemed ever present since he announced his wedding.

The entire Classico household seemed to carry out their tasks with an extra skip in their step and passionate gusto that seemed into them.

The staff prepared for the arrival of their Lady with a sense of merriment that turned the dreary estate into a bright home.

A small smile lifted Dino's lips despite feeling anxious. Gratitude surged through him as he recalled how supportive and loyal his staff had been.

Catherine took in her appearance, staring unblinkingly at her reflection for the last few minutes.

"Oh my...!" Catherine breathily exclaimed as she nervously fanned her face. She pressed her dainty fingertips to her lips to keep from crying yet again.

Soft curly wisps of hair framed her face while the rest of her hair was arranged in a low chignon that was held together with pearl hair pins.

The capped off-shoulder sleeves of the gown complemented the smooth curve if her shoulders that led up to a slender neck that was further enhanced by a simple diamond choker that arrived with the dress.

"We aren't done yet." Kate said patiently, trying her best to coax Catherine to stay calm.

An agitated Serina shook her hands impatiently, wanting to complete the brides make-up personally.

"You look wonderful but we need to add the final touches." Serina tentatively said from where she sat, already fully dressed for the wedding.

The bride in question was still in the process of dressing after being delayed for nearly twenty minutes.

Her dress was promptly sent over to her quarters in the morning with a note from Dino attached.

Reading his note and seeing the wedding gown that Dino had chose for her, triggered a stream of tears that could fill a small pond up.

Despite an having an early start with dressing, Kate and Serina invested a healthy amount of time trying to get Catherine to stop tearing up, which costed them their tightly fixed schedule.

The bride broke into sob after sob, gulping air to try and calm herself down in vain.

His sweet words had triggered a release of tears she had no doubt welled up for the last week.

She sat crying out her nervous-excitement while Serina panicked about her red, puffy eyes and Kate worried over the delay.

After many attempts from the ladies, Marietta who waltzed in after tending to her share of wedding responsibilities, spoke a few reassuring words while dabbing her face with a cool cloth.

The magical woman brought them back onto schedule with no further fuss.

"She's all yours." Marietta nodded at Serina before leaving to get dressed.

Now with just half an hour left for the wedding, Catherine pursed her lips softly while Serina painted them a pale pink before highlighting the natural blush on her face with a soft rouge.

Fixing on a set of elegant diamond tear drop earrings Catherine was finally all done.

Serina heaved out a dramatic sigh of relief before collapsing back into a chair while Kate fixed on her veil.

"Phew! Almost got yourself late for your own wedding!" Serina teased making everyone in the room chuckle.

Marietta re-emerged into the room clasping Lucia and Elena's hands in one of her own. The twins grinned broadly chirpily talking about their dresses and how excited they were for the day.

"Mama! Look at how pretty Miss Marietta made us look!" Elena exclaimed, grasping the edge of her frock for emphasis.

"She made our hair look so elegant." Lucia added, enunciating the large word slowly so as to not mispronounce it.

Katie shared a warm smile with Marietta who offered to dress the twins up while she helped Catherine.

"You look beautiful Cathy." Marietta whispered noticing the the bride now fully ready. Her waterline pooled up at the angelic sight of her cousin.

"Oh goodness no! None of that! It's contagious and we're already late." Serina chided lightly.

"We're all set to go." Marietta waved her hand out to the room gesturing to the fact that everyone was ready.

Marietta wore an emerald green gown with long slender sleeves. The bodice led to a jeweled girdle that flared out in waves which swept the ground and in a short trail.

The material shimmered with a silver glint as she walked. Her dark hair already arranged in an updo.

"Dali is going to trip over himself today." Serina muttered to Kate through the side of her mouth, the two ladies chuckling secretively.

A few minutes later, the bridal party had settled into their seats and the sharp crack of the whip announced their departure.

Exhaling a measured breath through her mouth Serina twiddled her fingers anxiously.

"We're cutting it close. We should reach with barely five minutes to spare." She said to Kate in their own carriage while watching the view whizz past.

"It'll be fine, Henrique and Gerhard will handle any bumps on their side. As long as we arrive on time it should be fine." Kate said with a proud smile.

Henrique and a few other close friends decided to spilt their focus and each of them chose either the groom or bride's side.

In hindsight it was a smart plan of the perceptive Henrique. Thinking about how right he was placed a bright, girlish smile on Kate's face.

In the brides carriage, anticipation and the crisp thrill of venturing into something new riddled Catherine's heart.

Marietta squeezed her hand supportively from her seat next to her.

Her shapely lips pulled into a bright smile that Catherine found herself returning as they made their way to the Clan.

"I'm going to be Lady Catherine Classico." She whispered in awe to Marietta.

"No." Marietta frowned playfully.

"You're going to be Mrs Catherine Classico, before any other title." Marietta corrected just as her cousin began sniffing again in fear.

A bright glow lit up Catherine's face as her smile lifted up again, creating a sparkle in her eye.

"Oh no!" She gasped suddenly, which had even the coachman craning his neckย  nervously.

"My bouquet! I forgot my bouquet! And the ring!?" Catherine spoke in rushed syllables, waving her hand in a panic.

With a serene smile, her cool demeanor never wavering, Marietta lifted a thick bouquet of flowers that was hidden at her side.

"I have everything covered. It's what I was busy with while you were getting ready. The ring is with me as well." Marietta replied calmly.

She rubbed small soothing circles on her cousins back, trying to her breathing back to normal.

"She's late!" Dino exclaimed in an antsy tone turning his wary gaze onto his butler and confidante.

"She should be here any moment my Lord." Albrecht smoothing responded.

"What if she decided against this marriage? What if all this was a dream and I misunderstood her feelings all this time?" Dino asked in a foreign voice that was unlike his usual confident self.

"Well then we've all clearly been fooled as well." A bubbly voice piped up from the doorway.

"Indeed, and my eyes are never wrong." Joined in another voice, with a slight arrogant tone.

Wearily glancing over his shoulder Dino found Henrique, Dali and Gerhard at the threshold each sporting large grins in his direction.

The three aristocrats were impeccably dressed in custom made suits that accentuated their muscular figures.

Their capes hung haughtily over their shoulder with brooches of their family crests were pinned over their hearts.

Breezily sauntering in with a flute of sparkling juice in his hand, Henrique perched himself on the window seat pushed at the corner of the small room.

"We came to check in on you." Gerhard greeted, coming to stand behind Dino.

"Who knew such a handsome figure was hidden under that long cape and boring glasses." Dali prodded still looming at the entrance, smiling teasingly at the groom with his proud arms folded.

"Sir Gerhard's taste in fashion can make anyone look their best." Dino replied curtly in a voice that lacked confidence.

"Fine dressing can only enhance what's already there." Gerhard replied placing a palm over his shoulder supportively a smile lifting his handsome face.

The good-looking Fra noble had helped the groom pick out his suit for the wedding. Choosing a double breasted coat that narrowed at the waist before the elaborate black material flared out in pleated layers.

Narrow pants fitted his toned long legs. A bright red sash that had his clans crest sewn in was fastened over his right shoulder which brought out the sharpness of the white shirt he wore.

His platinum-silver coloured hair smelt of lavender and mint. The fine, straight strands combed neatly and parted through the middle.

A silk black ribbon kept his length tame. His hair draped over a shoulder like platinum silk.

One side of his neck remained exposed, attracting attention to the slim column.

Dino transformed into a handsome vampire with alluring eyes and strong broad shoulders.

"Gerhard's help or not, Catherine is going to swoon at the sight of this princely vamp today." Henrique teased with a playful grin.

"I agree, you look dashing to a point where even I find myself swooning." Dali swaggered into the room with a mirthful smirk.

His suit outlined his broad back andย  flattered his muscular built. Glossy, black shoulder length locks were tied back, revealing his devilishly handsome face.

A heavy sigh escaped the groom. Dino rested an elbow on the dresser in front of him, pinching his brows with a pressed look of pain in his face.

"Don't fret Dino! Kate is with Catherine, everything will be fine." Henrique reassured breezily with a sunny smile.

"Yes, Serina is coming with the bridal party as well, along with Lady Marietta. Catherine will be safe. They'll ensure that Lady Catherine makes in on time." Gerhard added.

"Yeah the two are bridesmaids after all." Henrique nodded, red curls that escaped his braid bouncing with the motion.

Dali's ear perked up. A curious pout to his full ruby lips.

"Naturally Gerhard would escort Lady Serina down..." Dali began.

"Without a doubt." Gerhard could not help the possessive flare in his voice.

"That leaves Fae unescorted..." Dali thought out loud, a smile creeping up his roguish face.

"Actually Lady Marietta was coupled with Lord Edmond Monroe." Dino corrected before Dali could plot any further.

The Delico aristocrats face fell from bright and mischievous to utter disbelief. His lips upturned with jealousy.

"What?" His hands shook with irritation.

Gerhard bit the corner of his lip to keep his laugh at bay. Seeing Dali challenged was quiet entertaining to them all.

Henrique openly laughed at Dali's half cooked plan flopping.

"It was her own choosing. Marietta asked to be guided down as a bridesmaid with Lord Edmond." Dino clarified.

His ocean green gaze narrowed to a cat-like glare.

Turning on his heel Dali excused himselfย  in search of Edmond, his new foe.

"Ahhh I am so glad to be married to Katie. Bachelor-hood seems tough." Henrique sighed with a content look.

Dino found himself smiling softly distracted from his own insecurities.

The door to the small room banged open again revealing Theodore beaming broadly.

The young Classico bounded excitedly to his father, holding his hand he spoke two words that lit Dino's face with a pure kind form of happiness that had him glowing from inside out.

"She's here!"

Long legs clad in black,ย  knee length boots pushed to a stand, unfolding Dino's full height.

The jewels that hung of his cape caught in the sunlight casting a red glow on his face.

The mention of Catherine brought a lively spring to his step.

Gerhard and Henrique exchanged knowing grins.

"Let us make haste Lord Classico, I am just as eager to see my wife who has arrived with the bride." Henrique clapped him lightly on the shoulder.

"Yes, life seems very dull without our counterparts. I am sure they are just as eager to see us." Gerhard agreed exiting the room first with Theodore.

The butlers of the various houses worked together to take care of the children and tend to guests.

Dino and Catherine wanted all of the staff there in gratification for their support. As a result, the Delico's staff was present with the Fra butler.

The young vampires stalked through the room and out to the entrance where a line of six carriages pulled up.

A large white chaise carriage was flanked protectively from the front and back by shiny black carriages with the Vlad agencies crest.

It seemed that Dino left no stone unturned in terms if protection and grandness.

Rushing eagerly to see her, Dino was halted by Albrecht and Dali.

"You can't see the bride just yet. Let Theodore be the representative." Dali smiled reminding Dino of the old tradition.

"You could briefly meet Lord Johannes and a few other important guests while we guide the other guests to their seats outside." Albrecht offered.

Collecting himself Dino nodded a faint blush dusting his face.

Sprinting outside Henrique smiled with relief at the sight of him twin girls in the carriage behind the brides.

"Papa!" They chorused as he jogged over to them.

Helping them down he bowed low with a jaunty grin.

"Why, who are these two enchanting princesses?" He asked making them squeal with delight.

Lifting his head up Henrique's eyes widened before he moved to offer his hand out to his wife.

Kate wore a powder blue mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline. The white pearls that rested around her neck complimented the blue of the dress.

"Mademoiselle! Tu es magnifique aujourd'hui." (My lady! You look gorgeous today.)

He winked kissing the top of her hand.

Kate gasped at the playful romeo but responded in repartee.

"Merci, mon beau." (Thank you handsome.) She spoke in a flattering tone leaving her husband flushed and taken aback by her open affections.

Gerhard rounded the carriage just in time for the door to swing open, revealing Serina.

She was dressed in a similar dress to Marietta's except hers was rich shade of ivy. Gerhard's gaze traveled over the material that fitted her narrow waist before fanning out prettily.

Lifting her by the hips he helped her out of the ride. Her red painted lips pulled up into an attractive smile.

"I missed you!" She exclaimed in greeting throwing her arms around him.

The startled vampire blushed profusely at the feel of her pressed to him. Holding her in his embrace he noticed the off-shoulder sleeves of her gown.

Frowning crossly he tentatively slipped the sleeves over her shoulders covering the creamy skin and hiding her cleavage that peeped out.

"Oh yes the dress can be worn either way." She explained innocent to his discontent.

"Then wear it this way. I don't want anyone else's wayward gazes on my fiance." He stated firmly, his hands still propped on her shoulders.

"Should just your wayward gaze be on me then?" She teased.

"Yes!" He answered hastily before realizing the meaning.

Glancing at her with wide eyes, Gerhard swallowed thickly.

"No I mean-" She cut his explanation off with a peck on the cheek.

"Come, let us go and meet Angelico." Linking her arm through his, the couple walked over to the venue where guests filed into their seats.

Henrique placed a hand on hid wife's waist while guiding his family to their own places.

"Whatever had you late? Dino worried himself to a panic." Henrique queried.

"We were delayed with dressing..." Kate said not wanting to spill the story.

Reading his wife's mind he chuckled.

"Dino almost cried as well. Almost." He shared secretively as they took their seats in the beautiful garden.

Noticing the elaborate white carriage pull to a stop, Edmond briskly walked out of theย  waiting hall and over to the carriage.

Opening the door he flashed a gracious smile at his leader as he helped her out of the carriage, Marietta's palm clasped safely in his.

She gave him a small curtsey as a thanks, while Dali watched jealously from afar.

He stared daggers into the back of Edmonds head. Before he knew it his feet moved on their own.

Albrecht and Ferdinand had guided everyone outside the main venue where they took their seats.

Excited murmurs filled the space to soft curious murmurs, everyone's necks craned to to the back trying to catch a glimpse of the bride.

Climbing out of three black carriages, where a line of twelve armored men that flanked either side of the aisle in rows of six.

They stood at attention which marked the commencement of the ceremony.

The priest who would conduct the wedding stood at the dias a polite smile on his face which reflected in his eyes.

Sharp gasps echoed through the crowd as Dino walked up to the dome. The breath taking noble had many of the guests surprised by his make over.

Henrique, who sat in the front with Kate snickered at the women who reacted far too late.

The sharp whistle of metal silenced the crowd as the guards lifted their swords in an arch, standing straight and stiff with grace.

Lucia and Elena held baskets that were given by Clara. They began walking down the aisle, spreading pale pink rose petals on the floor.

Theodore flashed Catherine a shy smile as she stepped out of the carriage, her veil now flipped down to cover her face.

"Welcome back... mother..." He greeted, bowing his head. Taking her hand the duo waited for the bridesmaids to line up.

Serina and Gerhard walked down first their arms linked together as they stepped down a hidden orchestra that no one noticed before began playing a classical piece.

Dali swooped in stealthily and linked his arm into Marietta's while he turned her distracted gaze to Catherine.

He led them under the sword archway before she noticed.

"What are you doing?!" She bit out of the corner of her mouth.

"Shh, it's practice for our real wedding." He said while smiling at the crowd as if it was all part of the plan.

Glancing over her shoulder she found Edmond grinning, giving her a thumbs up.

'Not him too...' She groaned internally. It seemed as of late that everyone encouraged the idea of her being with Dali.

Henrique grinned and winked at Dali, mouthing 'Marry her' to him.

Dali grinned cockily and mouthed back 'Will soon'.

The orchestra that was concealed behindย  boxed hedges began another piece as the bride walked down the aisle with Theodore at her side.

"Father arranged the guards in a flank as a promise to always protect you." He confided as they slowly walked down.

Dino and Catherine discussed the matter of who was lead her down since her parents were no longer.

"I'd like Theo to do the honors. It would symbolise his acceptance of me." Catherine said a few weeks ago.

The sound of violins, cello and a soft harp set tye ambience for the angel in white that glided toward Dino, who looked like a King in his own right.

Reaching the dias, Theodore placed Catherine's hand in Dino's before taking a seat in the front row.

Clearing his throat as the music came to a still, the priest addressed the crowd and began the wedding ceremony.

"Dearly beloved, we gather here today to witness and support the loving matrimonial union of Lord Dino Classico and Lady Catherine Sommers."

Henrique shifted closer to Kate and laced his fingers with hers. One twin seated on either side of them.

The priest began reciting vows that the bride and groom would swear to keep.

Gerhard who was seated behind Henrique, slipped his palm into Serina's while slinging his other arm around Angelico as the wedding proceeded.

Do you, Dino Classico accept Catherine Sommers as your lawful wife? To cherish and be true to and to no other in good and bad times, and in sickness and in health?

"I do." He stated in an unwavering voice.

Glancing to the bride who had her eyes bowed shyly, the priest repeated the same vows.

Do you, Catherine Sommers accept Dino Classico as your husband? To cherish and be true to him and no other in good and bad times, and in sickness and in health?

"Yes, I do." She said with a smile, glancing at him from under her veil.

"Do youย  Dino promise to love and hold this woman with honour and respect until death do you apart?"

"I do." He replied just as the priest ended his last word.

Henrique's eyes were fixed on Kate, he mouthed the words 'I do' in agreement to the vow as well.

Kate blushed, ducking her face shyly.

"Do you Catherine Sommers, promise to love and to hold this man with honour and respect until death parts you?"

"I do." She replied instantaneously.

"As we are all bound and tied to one common immortal being, do the two of you vow to belong to no one else but each other so long as there is life in your body?"

"Yes, I do." They chorused in unison.

"We shall now hear the vows of the groom." The priest announced in a soft, kind voice.

Swallowing thickly, Dino took Catherine's hands in his own hold. Smoothing his thumbs over her knucklesย  he began.

"Despite the forthcoming trials that life should bring, I vow to always support and understand you. I vow to fill your life with happiness and love and fulfil any desire you so wish of me." Dino spoke in a low baritone, his voice like honey.

Catherine bit her quivering lip, trying to keep her tears from spilling. She gave him a small nod in acknowledgement.

"The vows of the bride shall now be recited." The priest prompted.

"I vow to love you, regardless. To chase all the darkness and fill your life with love in whatever shape or form you so wish. I vow to love you and bring you joy so that any wounds of the past may heal with leaving no scar."

An audible gasp could be heard from him. Dino's hands trembled in her own with her selfless words.

"We shall bind these two, who have vowed their fealty to one another." The priest gestured for the rings.

Theodore handed his father a small box, while Marietta procured a little velvet pillow which held a ring.

Dino held her hand reverently, slipping on a simple gold band with a simple diamond embedded in the center.

Catherine slipped on a thick gold band that glinted on Dino's hand.

"With these rings I pronounce you husband and wife." The priest declared, a hint of pride in his voice as he boomed it out loud.

Gesturing to the groom, Dino lifted Catherine's veil, his breath stalling in amazement.

"You look beautiful." He whispered before brushing his lips against hers briefly.

The guests erupted into loud cheers. The sound of applause drowning out the first chords of music the orchestra began to play.

"Congratulations Lord and Lady Classico." The priest said with a smile before handing them a scroll to place their signatures. Once legally registered, the couple turned to meet the crowd.

Theodore dashed to his parents and threw his arms around them, his grin the largest he'd ever smiled.

Albrecht who stood off to the side of the dias dabbed the corner of his eyes before walking toward the couple.

"Welcome, Lady Classico to the family. I look forward to being of your service." The butler bowed low placing a hand over his heart.

Catherine waved his obsequious behavior off.

"Thank you for accepting me." She countered before they walked back down the aisle.

โœตโœตโœต

The couple led the guests to a private glade where a buffet styled lunch was arranged.

A main table was arranged for the bridal party while smaller round tables were set for guests to mingle and enjoy the various dishes that were prepared.

"You look extremely breathtaking. My eyes don't want to look anywhere else." Dino whispered in Catherine's ear.

"Thank you. You picked such a lovely gown." She blushed.

"It's lovely because it's you that's wearing it. But... I can't wait to see how lovely you are without it." His warm breath fanned over her neck making her shiver with a foreign feeling.

"Are we leaving immediately after this?" She asked shyly.

"If you so wish. I would have left immediately if I had my way." He winked.

"Oh!" She pressed her hands to her cheeks suddenly growing really bashful.

A few tables down Marietta sat with Edmond, Gerhard and Serina. The four of them chatting about the wedding, swapping stories about the build up of the wedding.

Dali stabbed at the food in his plate, watching Marietta's glittery smile shine in Edmonds direction instead of his.

Getting up from his table that sat Henrique and Kate, he walked off into the Clan gardens to cool his mind.

Sitting down on a stone bench he tried to calm the feelings of jealously and irrational anger. He tried to figure out how to grab her attention.

Dali found the letter in her room that hid the truth of why she left. One thing he couldn't understand is why she never said anything now.

"Love is powerful enough to be a shield to protect, a knife to defend or a soft fabric to cocoon. Silence is a silent form of strength..." A dazed, calm voice said behind him.

Turning to see who it was, Dali found teacher Krauss petting a cat distractedly.

"If you don't strike now, you might lose her. Everything is excused in the name of love..." The vampire said, meeting Dali's gaze before walking off.

Returning to the reception, Dali found the new couple set to leave early on their honeymoon.

Passing his congratulations on to them before they got into the carriage he spotted Marietta sitting quietly at a table. A sad, lonely look shadowed her features.

The rest of the reception passed on with a usual drag of people dancing, mingling and chatting.

Young vampires found quiet corners to speak to females that caught their fancy while the children skipped and played with an infinite supply of energy.

Theodore would be staying under the care of Albrecht for the time being until Dino and Catherine returned from their honeymoon.

The sun dipped low, casting a golden glow over the water features. With the descend of the sun, the guests began leaving, complementing Albrecht and offering their congratulations on holding such a magnificent wedding.

Marietta watched Serina leave with Gerhard as the last of the guests. Turning back to the abandoned venue she let out a soft sigh that revealed her lonliness.

Now that Catherine was married, she'd be completely alone. Cathy would have her own family which meant Marietta would have to live in the Sommers estate in solitude.

For the first time she realsied why so many people insisted she marry as well.

Before she could cast further thought on the matter, a cold hand clasped tightly over her mouth.

She let out a scream but the quiet area told her that no one would come to her aid.

She kicked and tried to disarm herself of the kidnappers hold but the man's brute force was too strong and soon she found herself overpowered. He deflected her attacks too easily.

Her muffled yells echoed in vain as she was dragged into a darkened carriage, the blinds on the windows pulled down.

The vampire made quick work of bidding her hands and blind folding her.

"Keep still." The voice hissed in a frustrated tone.

She had no option but to comply for the time being. The inertia of the carriage beginning its journey caused a jolt of nervous knots to form in her stomach.

A cool calm settled over her as she concentrated on trying to hear any helpful sounds. Quieting down she kept her energy for an opportunity for when she could attack.

'I'll be fine. As long as Cathy and the children are safe, there's nothing to panic about.' She reassured herself, suppressing the heart wrenching fact that she was alone, so much so that no one noticed she was gone.
