It was now nighttime. Y/n walks over to the rails and looked over at the ocean while Shu was on the wheel. Y/N looks over at Shu and walks up and looks at the ocean as Shu looks over at her before looking back at the star.

Y/N: "Shu? [exhaling] Thank you for coming after me."

Shu: "Well, y... you're welcome."

Shu softly welcomed her as they both smiled at each other.

Y/N: "This life suits you."

Shu [chuckling]: "Yeah. I wasn't made for dry land. [chuckling] And you? Is it the shore... or the sea?"

Y/N exhales and walks over to him and spoke.

Y/N: "I've always loved the sea. I even dreamed of a life on it. But it wasn't meant to be. I have responsibilities in Syracuse."

She then looked down sadly.

Shu: "You really have to give it up?"

There was a moment of silence before Y/N looked back up and stared out the horizon.

Y/N: "Yes."

She looked away as Shu looked at her sadly and sighed quietly then put a hand on Y/N's, then gasping softly, Y/N looks at Shu as he smiled at her then guides Y/N to the wheel. Shu placed her hand on the wheel as Y/N looks at him in surprise and smiled at him. And Shu did a head signal as Y/N placed both of her hands on the wheel and stared straight at the ocean.

Shu: "You know, I've traveled the world, seen things no other man has seen... but nothing... nothing compares to the open sea."

Y/N: "And is this what you always wanted?"

Shu [chuckling]: "Not really. When we were young, Valt and I used to talk about joining the Royal Navy and serving Syracuse side by side. But as we got older, our lives began to change. He's a prince, and I'm... well. [chuckling] I was never jealous of him, though... until one morning, a ship came into harbor... a ship with his future on it. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen."

Y/N looked at Shu with a small frown as Shu told his life story of Valt and him.

Y/[whispering softly]: "What was on the ship?"

Shu turned to Y/N with loving eyes.

Shu: "You."

Y/N's eyes widen as a tiny blush of pink showed on her cheeks.

Shu: "Valt met you at the dock. I jumped on the first outbound ship and never looked back. Until now."

They both grab hands, as Shu slowly leaned into Y/N then Y/N putting a hand on Sinbad stopping him, then they look at a comet several of them whooshing at the star, causing an explosion and a giant rock with an opening showed up.

Shu: "The gates of Tartarus."

Xander climbs up from the lower deck, with the rest of the crew climbing up. They all covered their eyes from the bright light. Shu went back to the wheel and sailed straight towards the gate. Then the water started to splash weirdly.

Shu: "Cuza! Give me a lookout!"

Cuza climbs up to the lookout post and looks ahead and his eyes slowly widen when he sees there was no more path up ahead.

Cuza: "We're dead."

Shu: "What is it?!"

Cuza: "I-I-It just ends, Captain! It's the edge of the world!"

There was nothing at the end of the ocean as the gates were far from the ocean.

Hyuga [to Hikari]: "Pay up. It's flat."

Hikari grabs the coins to Hyuga.

Raul: "Well, that's it. Time to go home."

Then Xander stops Raul from walking away by grabbing his shoulder from behind.

Xander: "Nuh-uh-uh. The captain hasn't given his orders yet."

Raul sighs as everyone looks over at Shu and Y/N.

Sinbad [quietly]: "Follow that star beyond the horizon. Beyond the horizon."

The wind whips, then the flags flutter. Shu looks around and got a idea.

Y/N: "Shu?"

Then Shu calls out making Y/N jump in surprise.

Shu: "Men! All hands to your posts! Free all sheets! Wait for my command!"

Crew: "What?"

Everyone looked at Shu as he was crazy.

Shu: "Now! Go! Go! Go!"

Xnader: "Eh, Shu, how-how are we gonna pull this off?"

Shu places a hand on his shoulder.

Shu: "Just trust me. Cuza! Rig the main yard to the fors'le!"

Cuza: "But that would stop us dead!"

Shu: "Just do it!"

Cuza: "Aye, aye, Captain."

Cuza jumps on the pole and walks on the pole, and grabs some rope and sings down.

Cuza: Whoa!"

Shu: "Slack to all sheets!"

Raul: "Aye, aye, Cap'n!"

Shu: "Cut the fore and main trusses! Move! Move! Move!"

Raul grabs some robs and tyes it to a hoop.

Raul: "I got it. I got it. I got it."

Yugo passes a stick to Xander as he connects it to a wheel.

Shu: "Aft yard astern!"

Yugo: "But that's..."

Shu: "Crazy, I know! Now hurry!"

Shu jumps at the front of the ship. Xander pulls down a rope making the sails cover the view of the ship. Hyuga and Hikari climb the pole tying some rope around.

Hyuga: "Here, grab it!"

Hikari: "Go!"

Shu: "Swing the fors'le to port! Ease the aft! Full hoist to forward sails!"

Y/N: "Aye, aye, Captain."

Shu turns around to Y/N who was giving a helping hand.

Raul: "Come on!"

Shu smiles at Y/N.

Shu: "Pull!"

Xander pulls the wheel by putting up the sail, then the wind continues whipping. Y/N walks next to Shu.

Shu: "Tie off all sails! All hands amidships! And pray to the gods. We may be meeting them soon."

Everyone got on their guard ready for any impact. They were closing in towards the edge. Cuza looks over and closes his eyes.

Cuza: "We're going to die."

The heavy wind blows the man, then gasping while looking down. The ship almost came over the edge. Shu grabs Y/N by the waist and pulls her close.

Lain: "Hold on! Grab the rope!"

The ship then started falling.

Shu: "Come on, come on, come on, come on!"

Then the wings of a ship open wide, with everyone falling down losing balance, then snapping ropes, then they hear a clap of thunder crashing. Before they knew it they were in the air flying. Everyone looked in awe.

Shu: "It worked?"

Xander: "Shu... [chuckling] ...you did it."

Xander smiles at Shu and so was Y/N. Shu looks at the gate as they were flying towards it until they hear a metal clang. Shu and Y/N turn their attention behind them. And all the ropes suddenly snaps

Yugo: "Grab hold!"

Shu: "Lain, hard to port!"

Lain then tells everyone what Shu said.

Lain: "Hard to port!"

Then Shu jogs over to Xander who had ropes around him.

Shu: "Xander!"

Xander: "Aye!"

Shu: "If I don't make it, the ship is yours."

Shu gives a smile to Xander as he grabs the ropes from him. Xander's eyes widen before they narrow.

Xander: "No."

Shu: "Gentlemen, it's been a privilege robbing with you."

Shu says his final goodbye to his crew as they all look at him sadly. Shu then turns around then meet Y/N's close up face.

Y/N: "I'm coming with you. And don't tell me the Realm of Chaos is no place for a woman."

Shu chuckles softly then wraps the rope around both of their waists and pulled Y/N close to him.

Shu: " Hmm. I would never say that."

Then they both hear Spike's barks as he wraps himself with the rope.

Shu: "Hey, sorry, boy. Not this time."

The dog whines, Shu gets up and then they both look at a light, then look behind them and they both looked at each other getting the same idea. Shu stuck his hand out like a gentleman to Y/N as she accepts it then they both jump down over the rail with the crew behind them watching, then they both swung to the light, and the crew went over to the other side of the ship watching as the two hit the light and the rope fell back with Shu and Y/N gone.
