Back in Syracuse, Valt was looking at the half sun. Many people were there to witness their only future king, die. There was a man wearing a mask covering his face except his eyes holding an axe. Valt kneeled down and slowly placed his neck on the wooden head-cutting board. The man raised his axe as Valt was shakily breathing, as Kento looked away, not wanting to watch his son die. As the axe was raised and it slowly came down but a small dagger broke the axe and the large silver axe fell in front of Valt as his eyes opened wide and he gasped for air. He stared at his reflection in the axe and looked up to see Shu and his crew.

Shu: "I bet you thought I wouldn't make it."

Shu and Valt clasps hands.

Valt: "[exhaling] I was.. [gulping] ...beginning to wonder."

Valt and Shu gave each other a hug. Valt smiled but realizes something that Shu didn't have.

Valt: "The Book?"

Shu looked sadly at him.

Shu: "I did my best. It wasn't enough."

Valt: "No."

Then Valt placed a hand on his shoulder.

Valt: "You came back anyway."

Shu: "How could I do anything else... my friend?"

Valt puts his hand down, closing his eyes and his head down. Y/N walks out of the crowd looking sadly at Shu and Valt. Spike whimpers, and nuzzles against Y/N's leg as she held him. Shu looked down sadly and slowly walked towards the head-cutting board, as the man had now a sword. Spike whimpered as Shu kneeled down his head down. Spike tried to run towards him but Y/N held him back. Shu clenched his fist then released them as he placed his neck on the wooden board. The man raised the sword, shining from the sunrise. Y/N squinted her eyes and hide her face against Spike not wanting to watch her lover die. Shu closed his eyes ready to accept his fate, but as soon as the man raised the sword down it shattered into pieces as it slowly floated in the air. Then everyone sees the sky turning black and sees clouds forming into a tornado.

Kento: "Get back!"

Kento raised his arms telling people to move back as Y/N moved back a little looking up at the sky, as Xander stood in front of her. Shu looked up to see a tornado forming in front of him and a giant Eris appears. Everyone gasps at this.

Eris: "How dare you?! Everything was going perfectly, and now you do this!"

Eris hits the wood and it splashes into the water.

Shu: "Eris, I don't understand."

Eris: "Don't play coy with me."

Eris tapped her fingers on the stone tile at Shu.

Eris: "Maybe you can fool these people, but I know who you are. You're a selfish, unprincipled liar!"

Shu steps back but takes in what Eris said.

Shu: "Wait a minute. I didn't lie. I came back. That's why you're here. This was all part of your test. I told the truth. And wasn't there something about being "bound for all eternity"?"

Shu crossed his arms as he solved the puzzle. Eris's eyes widen and Eris's hair moves away as an 'X' mark appeared on her left shoulder. Everyone gasps as they see Eris forming her hand into a fist trying to crush Shu but couldn't. Eris then sighs and slowly raised her hand down in front of Shu as she unclenched her hand and it revealed the Book of Peace. Shu then takes the book and checks it. He then gave out a smirk.

Shu: "Well, well, well. This has got to be a little embarrassing for you, Eris."

Eris [chukels softly]: "Don't push your luck, Sinbad. You're cute, but not that cute. And lucky for you, I've got places to go, things to destroy, stuff to steal. Ta."

Eris then disappears, Shu smiles as he then sighs then sighing, everyone in the crowd smiles, Shu looked up at the sky and as he was about to open the book he took a glance at his friends as Valt nods, Shu then opens the Book of Peace, Shu looks at it smiling and lifted it in the air as the light came out and the dark sky changed back to their whole world, then the crowd cheer. Shu was then slowly kneeled down and breathed heavily and looked at the book and Valt came over and lent his hand out and helped Shu up.

Valt: "You know, for what it's worth, I think council believes you now."

They looked over at the councils who had their mouths dropped as Phil's hat fell off his head. Shu scoffs as he looked over at Valt.

Shu: "You think?"

The crowd cheers as the Book of Peace had returned. Y/N clasped her hands together as she looked happily over at Shu as Xander chuckles at them. Shu walked over to Kento as he walked over to him

Shu: "King Kento."

Kento bows his head and stretched his arms out as Shu was about to give the book.

Shu: "Uh, whoa, hey. How much you got on you?"

Kento shakes his head with a smile on him.

Kento: "I offer you the gratitude of the Twelve Cities, and the apology of a king."

Kento places a hand over his chest, Shu chuckles at this.

Shu: "No, really. How much?"

Kento: "Shu."

Shu chuckles as he passed the book to Kento. Kento bowed as he and the Councils left the area. Valt placed a hand on Shu's shoulder.

Valt: "Come on. This is going to be a heck of a party. Everyone's going to want to hear about the voyage."

As Valt barely walked, Shu didn't move as he had a small smile.

Shu: "Fair winds, calm seas. Nothing much to tell."

Vat [chuckling]: "What's the matter? No fun if you're actually invited?"

Shu looked down as he looked over at Y/N, who looked sadly at him.

Shu: "No, it's just, uh... there's a hammock in Fiji with my name on it."

Shu and Valt exchanged smiles and they clasped hands.

Valt: "Good sailing, Sinbad."

Shu then walked away before he told Valt.

Shu: "Get a haircut. You're going to be king someday."

The crowd applause once more while Shuwalks away, Xander places a hand on Y/N's shoulder as he walked off then Cuza puts his arm on Y/N, as she patted his arm then whimpering came from Spike who didn't want to say goodbye. She patted the dog, Cuza wiped a few tears as Xander pats his back. Valt looks over at Y/N, who looked down and walked away from the crowd as Valt had a sad expression knowing what upset her.

Y/N was on the balcony looking at the seas as Valt approaches her.

Valt: "Just another uneventful day in Syracuse."

Y/N chuckles softly. They both looked at the sunset as Valt looked over at Y/N.

Valt: "You know, I stood here with a woman once. She looked over the ocean and wished she could sail beyond the horizon. She saw... such wonder."

Y/N's eyes widen slightly knowing SHE was the one Valt was talking about then she turned to the sunset.

Y/N: "And what happened to this woman?"

Valt: "She got her chance. She sailed the seas, and she fell in love."

Y/N looked over at Valt.

Y/N [sighs]: "Valt, I..."

Valt then cuts her off as he placed both of his hands on her shoulder looking straight into her eyes.

Valt: "Y/N, follow your heart. Mine is here in Syracuse. Yours... yours is sailing with the next tide."

Valt caress her cheek as Valt smiled at her removing his hands from her shoulder. Y/N then hugs Valt, sighing and with tears prickling her eyes.

Y/N: "Oh, Valt."

A tear escaped her eye as they continued hugging each other. Back with Shu and his crew they were preparing to sail. Spike was looking at Syracuse, as Shu walked up to him and stood next to him. Xander walked up to them.

Xander: "Captain?"

Shu: "Hmm?"

Xander: "We're ready to sail."

Shu narrowed his eyes, thinking about Y/N.

Shu: "All right, Xander. Take us out."

Xander: "Aye, aye, Captain. Cast off!"

Then the ship started moving, Shu narrows his eyes even more before moving away as Spike whimpers. He then walks up to the front of the ship and hung against some ropes, staring out at the sea as he stared at the sunset. Until some ropes fell on his head.

Shu: "Oh... Cuza!"

Cuza: "What? [chuckling]"

Shu turns around to see Cuza with the rest of the crew behind him, to see him shrug as the crew had a smirk on their faces. He then heard a feminine voice which he recognizes.

Y/N: "Excuse me, Captain. You need to replace these rig joints pretty soon. The mizzen ropes need the support."

Y/N was at the top of the ship, Shu lets out a breath as he smiled at Y/N as he gave her a grin.

Shu: "These joints were from the Jasmine Sea. That's halfway around the world."

Y/N: "Then we'd better get started."

Shu cuts the rope he was holding then he flys up and lands on the sail pole and walked towards Y/N as they stared at each other lovingly.

Shu: "Well, you know, that means going through the Hydra's lair."

Y/N: "Mm-hmm."

Shu: The Minotaur's haven.

Y/N: "Mm-hmm."

Y/N leans against the pole, listening to Shu's list of dangerous places.

Shu: "The Cyclops' Den."

Y/N: "Mm-hmm."

Shu: "Under the Swansea Bridge."

He then swings around the pole and they both face each other.

Y/N: "Mm-hmm."

Shu: Through the China Seas. That's a very long voyage. And it's very, very dangerous.

Y/N: "Don't worry. I'll protect you."

Then Shu and Y/N both lean in for a kiss, Spike barks at them and decided to join them. He jumped on the catapult and pulled the bone and landed on Shu and Y/N as they all fell with Spike licking their faces.

Shu: "Oh, Spike."

Y/N [chuckling]: "Spike."

Shu: "Spike... down."

They all set sail to their new adventure, as Shu and Y/N prepared for themselves spending time together through their voyage.
