Subhadra's POV

I got inside the palace and locked the door quietly.

I released a breath and sat down.. My heart was beating fastly

I changed my wet clothes..

I went near the window and looked towards the mountain to see if he was still there

The sound of horse diverted my attention

It was him! Oh my god! He is one of them! He must be the third one.. I'm dead!

I quickly closed the windows and sat on my bed with tension

I heard footsteps. I quickly laid on my bed and pretended like i was in deep sleep

I felt dau's lips on my forehead.

I got up as soon as i heard the door closing

Why would he check on me at this hour?! Did that guy tell him about meeting me?!

I didn't get any sleep that day.. I stayed up till the sun came

I heard a knock on the door

I opened the door.. Rukmini bhabhi got inside and closed the locked the door from inside.. It seemed like she was mad at me

"Are you crazy?!!" She asked making me sit on the bed

"I.. I don't know what you are talking about bhabhi" She said

"Don't lie to my face young lady! I'm not that dumb! You sneaked out yesterday.. You met arjun!" I lowered my gaze

She raised my chin and made me look at her

"He's acting crazy.. He says he's not gonna leave until he finds you! He's smitten!" I rolled my eyes..

"How can you be so sure that I'm the girl he's talking about?!" I asked her out of curiosity

"I caught him singing in the garden.. Your brother came there at that time.. He asked" i interrupted by asking her which brother was it.. If it was dau, I'm dead!

"Your bhrata Krishna of course! He asked him if he was in love with some princess.. Arjun said that he met someone yesterday night and he can't get her face out of his head.. Your brother asked him who was that lucky girl. He said you told him that you were none of his business and you would kill him if you told anyone about you." I smiled awkwardly when she said the last line.. She smiled a little bit

"Then i asked him what was she like and he explained you like a poet.. Your brother told him that he must have been dreaming as there's no such girl in dwaraka.. But arjun isn't gonna give up.. So, stay here till they leave!" She said and left as i nodded my head in a yes

I moved towards the window.. I saw him walking with bhrata krishna.. He had a peacock feather in his hands.. Bhrata krishna took it and placed it on Arjun's hair and they both started laughing.. I smiled seeing them.. A cold wind made my hair messy.. He stopped walking and inhaled the air.. His lips curved..

He looked at my direction but i hid behinds the wall before he could see me.

Author's POV

"What is it parth?" Krishna's heart skipped a beat as he caught arjun looking at subhadra's chamber

"Nothing.. I just.. It's just.. Her smell.." He blabbered

"You are crazy parth! There's no such girl in dwaraka.. The most prettiest girl in dwaraka is my wife.." Arjun chuckled and nodded

"Let's go take a stroll around the city.. Let's see if there is a girl prettier than rukmini in dwaraka" Arjun agreed with Krishna

Krishna led him towards his chariot..

After a long time!.. I know it's a short one.. Sorry about that :)

I was mentally down for the past 3 months... I couldn't write.. That's why i took a break from watty.. I hope You guys will understand.. I am slowly recovering from it.. It took some time for me to realize that the only person i can trust is me... I am doing okay now.. I'll try to update whenever i can.. Sorry for the delay :)❤️
