They said it was a bad omen to show up here. Especially when they needed more soldiers and scientists. I had the training of both. I was more of a scientist than a soldier. I could never bring myself to shoot someone or something. For five years I have been asleep. Dreaming of how Pandora might look, or how I will experience things. Grace and I wrote the book on Pandora life. We both knew there was four times the connection with the trees. It was like they could communicate with each other, and sense what each other is feeling.ย
The ride on one of the air crafts seemed okay, sometimes it was a bit bumpy. Considering that we were in the middle of a Na' vi and Sky people war. I didn't know what side I should be taking. Parker told me on a calling devise to watch out for Falco. He was the worst. Even know he had a higher position than Parker, he was still a dick.
I leaned myself forward, close to my knees. My stomach was not agreeing with me on this flight. I felt sick.ย
"Are you alright, LionHeart?" One of the male soldiers, sitting across from me asked.
"No, I am not. My stomach just doesn't agree with me right now." Then I felt it. The soldier across from me suddenly handed me a neon orange bucket. The acidic waste came up from my stomach and made a dump in the bucket.ย
"Aw! That's just nasty!" One turned their head away in disgust. Others were being over dramatic and some just respected the fact I wasn't feeling well. The male soldier with blond hair un-buckled his seat-belt and quickly went to sit beside me. Suddenly our Commander shouted from his seat.
"Sit back down, soldier! If this plain goes down, then your going to be hamburger meat for the Viper-wolves! Do I make myself clear?!" He shouted with a stern voice.
"Yes, sir!" The blond yelled back. He then placed his seat-belt on. He rubbed my back in a soothing way. Telling me it was going to be alright. It just kept coming up, tears stung in my eyes. I wiped my eyes and mouth with my green, army jacket, sleeve.
"Thanks, um. . ."ย
"Callen, Callen Smith." I then nodded.
"Thanks, Callen." I placed the bucket on the floor.
"Anytime, Doctor." Callen smiles. Suddenly the lights start to flicker. All of us watch the lights. Then we looked at each other.ย
A sudden shift jerked me forward from my seat. Well, it made everyone nearly flip upside down. The lights suddenly shut off and a red light suddenly came on.ย
"What's happening?!" I yelled to our Commander.
"Stay calm, everything is under-" Another shift came. The shift was a lot more harder then the last. The room start to spin as our plain was going out of control. I decided to place on my oxygen mask and so did the others.ย
"Brace for impact!" Our Commander shouts. Everything then went black.
A groan escaped my lips. I felt even more sick than last time. I felt like my insides were going to flame up. That feeling when you are tossed around in a aircraft. . .
Some how. . . I survived. I took a glace around, everything seemed to be upside down. Oh wait. I reached to un-clip my seat-belt. When a click was heard I fell right out of my seat. I felt like I was choking on my air. My lungs felt like they were closing in on me. I realised I didn't press my oxygen button under my mask. I looked around to see if anyone was alive. Callen was still stuck in his seat with blood seeping down the side of his face. He was gone. I was sure of it. Everyone either had a detached head or a piece of steel through them. I fell to my knees and started to weep. Why was I the only one left? Why me?
Excruciating pain went through my chest. I was stranded on a planet that was in the middle of a war. But I couldn't just sit there. I have to find a way to survive.ย
I picked up my gun and grabbed the other's Tags andย Callen's. For some reason our Commander had his seat upright and the neon orange bucket on his head. If I were him I wouldn't want to wake up and find someones puke on my head. I shook my head and chuckled. Walking away from my ship and into the Pandora wild. It would be dark soon.ย ย
The sun was starting to set and I started to hear lots of whines and howls. Shit. Viperwolves. I started to hear them. They were closing in. I took a breath and started running. Hopping over logs and pushing away any greenery. The ground was glowing blue with every step I took. Suddenly my face slammed into the ground. I felt burning pain to my ankle. I think I tripped over something.ย
"Aw shit!" I saw them off in the distance. A Viperwolfย suddenly made it's move and tried pouncing on me. My leg suddenly kicked it. Flying off in the distance and with a whine. They were not happy.ย
I suddenly turned over on my stomach and got up. I quickly limped and continued to run and move. God will they just leave me alone!
It was now pitch black out, and most of the plans started to glow. Pink, purple, and green. All of a sudden I saw hope.
A link station was off in the distance. I was getting so close to it. That was until I face planted into the dirt once again. I rolled onto my back as a Viperwolf almost bit off my face. I was lucky to have my jar head mask on. I threw it off me and rolled away. Grabbing my hand gun from my belt. I started yelling to scare them off as I kept pulling the trigger. They got scared and ran off. I flopped my body back down on the ground. My heart was beating so fast, I tried to calm myself.ย
I remembered back on Earth it was over populated. I signed up for this to find my purpose in life. I didn't want to die on Earth. I wanted to find out why I had white and brown hair. I was born with many white streaks in my hair. Some kids would pick on me and call me an old lady when I was still in school. I was twenty-two and still living on more.ย
I had no one left back on Earth. They were either dead or fighting in this war. Grace told me before I got here that I had an Avatar. Not just any ordinary one. It was one of the multi-millions one. I didn't get what was so special about her. But I would just have to figure out for myself. I went inside the link station, only seeing two link units and some expired food in the fridge. I took off my mask and placed it on the table. I needed to find my purpose. I brought my hand up to the little key pad and started up my link unit. I was claustrophobic so every time I would go into an MRI I would need to get an injection. I sat down and bandaged up my ankle as it was turning purple. Next, I found a needle andย Propofol. I found the vein in my arm and injected it. I hobbled over to the link unit and got lied down in it. The lid closed and I started to feel a bit sleepy. I needed to clear my mind and shift my consciousness into my Avatar. The question was: Who is waiting for me on the other side?
