I am updating fast!! So thore comments bhi kar do yaar, like k sath sath...!! 🤧🤧

I slowly awakened from a profound slumber, my mind shrouded in a dense fog. As I struggled to sit up, a sharp, stabbing pain pierced my skull, leaving me reeling.

"Ahh! My head!" I cried out, grasping my temples and attempting to soothe the throbbing ache.

My thoughts raced as I desperately tried to recall the events leading up to my unconsciousness, but my memories remained elusive, shrouded in a haze of confusion.

"Shit!" I exclaimed, frustration and panic coursing through my veins as I remembered what happened before I fall unconscious.

I glanced around, my gaze scanning the unfamiliar room.

The space was eerily decorated with rose petals and candles, casting a warm, golden glow. My eyes landed on a large window, which framed the dawn sky like a painting. The sun was still rising, casting a dark blue hue outside.

"Where the hell am I?" I muttered, my mind racing.

I looked down at my attire, feeling a surge of discomfort. I was wearing a lehenga - not just any lehenga, but Sanya's. My heart skipped a beat as I tried to stand up, but a sharp pain shot through my head, forcing me to sit back down.

I scanned the room, my eyes landing on the dresser, where framed photos caught my attention. Adwait's face smiled back at me, alongside Vidharth, Janav, Ariv, and Vritika.

"Fuck!" The curse slipped from my lips as realization dawned - I was in Adwait's room.

My mind raced to connect the dots, and my heart raced with the implications.

What the hell happened? Why was I wearing Sanya's lehenga, and where were the two of them?

My thoughts sprinted at lightning speed, conjuring scenarios that made my head spin. Panic set in, threatening to overwhelm me.

"Uhh! My head is going to explode from all this... God, help me!" I groaned, clutching my temples.

Wait, didn't I call Jarek before I passed out? Did he come to my rescue? And if so, where is he now? Oh God, please tell me he didn't cause a scene... I frantically searched for my phone, but it was nowhere to be found, adding to my growing panic.

After careful consideration, I decided to leave the room, relieved to find the hallway empty. The eerie silence in the house was unsettling, a stark contrast to the vibrant atmosphere that should have accompanied the wedding celebrations.

I pushed aside my concerns and headed towards my designated room, grateful to reach it without encountering anyone.

I slipped inside, locked the door, and changed into comfortable clothes, feeling a sense of relief wash over me.

I retrieved my spare phone from my bag and dialed Jarek's number, simultaneously checking the memory card, which was still intact.

With the laptop in hand, I prepared to access the contents while trying to reach Jarek, my mind racing with anticipation and apprehension.

Jarek didn't respond, despite my repeated calls. I tried again, but the silence was deafening. I switched to plan B and called Matteo, who answered on the first ring. With the memory card already inserted and its contents revealed.

"Mam, where are you?" Matteo's voice came back, laced with concern.

"I'm at the Randhawa palace. And where are you both?" I demanded, my eyes scanning the room.

Jarek must have snatched the phone from Matteo, because his voice came next, laced with relief and frustration.

"Ava, where the hell were you? I've been worried sick! But never mind that now. Just stay put, I'm sending someone to the palace."

He hung up, and I waited anxiously, my eyes fixed on the door.

Shortly, Jarek called back to inform me that the car was on its way. As I waited, the sun began to rise, its rays creeping through the thick clouds, casting a warm glow over the room.

I rushed out of the room, my mind preoccupied with thoughts, and headed straight for the car parked outside the palace. I didn't even notice who was behind the wheel until Janav spoke up, turning to face me with a curious expression.

"Anisha! You're still here?" My eyes widened in surprise, and I apologized, "I'm so sorry, I was waiting for my car..."

"Didn't you leave yesterday?" Janav's eyes narrowed.

I hesitated, realizing they might think I had departed. "Who, me? No, not at all," I replied, trying to sound convincing.

"Did the wedding go well?" I quickly changed the subject, seeking more information about my situation.

"Yeah, it was a great success."Janav nodded,

"By the way, why is the house so quiet? It felt like a haunted house in there... Not a single soul was around." I pressed on, trying to understand the eerie atmosphere.

Janav's expression turned grave.
"Vritika is missing. Everyone's searching for her, and my mom and aunt are at the temple, praying for her return." My eyes widened in alarm.

"What? Where did she go? Have you guys searched for her everywhere?"

Janav nodded, his face tense. "We've been searching for her since last night. During the wedding rituals, everyone was busy, but Vritika was nowhere to be found. Ariv and I started looking for her, but she was absent from the wedding hall, and her phone was unreachable. We searched the house, nearby areas, and even contacted her friends who attended the function, but no one has any information about her whereabouts."

He paused, collecting his thoughts. "We didn't want to alarm anyone, so we kept it quiet until we realized she was truly gone. That's when we informed everyone, and now the whole household is in an uproar."

"But where could she have gone?" I exclaimed.

Janav's face darkened. "She's been kidnapped."

"Oh! My god!!" I exclaimed

"We'll find her before anything terrible happens to her. Adwait and Vidharth bhai have already gone to search for her."

Janav shifted gears, changing the subject. "By the way, where are you headed? I can escort you."

"No need, thanks. My car will arrive any moment." I refused him politely .

With that, I stepped out of his vehicle and onto the pavement, my eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of my ride.

As if on cue, Matteo pulled up in a sleek, teal green Range Rover. I quickly climbed in.

"Where's Jarek?" I asked, settling into the car and trying to calm my nerves.

"He's at the hospital." Matteo's response only heightened my concern.

"Is he okay?" I asked, my anxiety spiking as my palms began to sweat. I pressed for answers.

"Kind of..." Matteo's vague response only added to my frustration.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I demanded clarity.

"He told me not to tell you..." He hesitated,

"Let's go there." I insisted.

"Where?" Matteo asked, through the rearview mirror.

"Hospital," I replied firmly, my tone brooking no argument.

"But—" He started to protest,

"I'm not asking you, I'm ordering you." I cut him off, my attitude unwavering.

"Yes, ma'am," Matteo nodded and refocused on the road, his gaze lowered in submission.

We arrived at the hospital in about half an hour, and Matteo led me to the VIP section.

"Jarek!" I called out, entering the room.

"Ava! What brings you here?" he inquired, rising from his seat and approaching me.

I quickly closed the distance between us, cupping his face in my hands to search for any signs of injury.

"Are you okay? What happened to you?" I demanded, my eyes scanning his face.

"I'm fine, don't worry," he assured me, placing his hands over mine.

But my concern only deepened.

"Then why are you here?" I pressed, and Jarek stepped aside, revealing the person lying in the hospital bed behind him.

"Vritika?" I exclaimed, my gaze darting between Matteo and Jarek.

"What is she doing here, and what are you two doing with her? Don't tell me you...?" My voice trailed off, suspicion and worry etched on my face.

"Fuck no, it's not what you think! It's a long story..." Jarek held up his hands,

I let out a sigh, my mind racing with questions.

"Let me call Adwait first, they're searching for her," I said after a pause.

Jarek hummed in response.

I dialed Adwait's number, and he answered on the second ring. "Hello?" he answered gruffly.

"Where are you?" I demanded, my tone urgent.

"What do you want? I'm busy," he replied curtly, his voice laced with irritation.

"I know where Vritika is!!" I exclaimed, my words spilling out in a rush.

"Where is she?" he shot back, his tone suddenly sharp with concern.

"Come to the city hospital," I directed, my voice firm and authoritative.

Adwait's response was laced with anxiety. "Is...is...?"

I reassured him, "Don't worry, she's fine."

"We'll be there in fifteen minutes," he promised before hanging up.

Jarek turned to me, curious. "What did they say?"

"They're coming," I replied succinctly.

"We should leave," Jarek urged,
"and let the hospital staff handle the rest. If we stay, it'll only raise more questions."

"Matteo, stay at reception and make sure to guide them," Jarek instructed, and Matteo nodded before departing.

"I want answers too. We're not leaving until they arrive." I resisted Jarek's attempt to usher me out.

"What questions?" Jarek raised an eyebrow.

I filled him in on the events at the Randhawa palace, and his expression darkened.

"You're saying you might be married to him? What a mess! Does marriage mean nothing to you?"

His voice rose in indignation, but before he could continue, a third voice intervened.

"What's going on here? You're both talking like...like you're married to my brother?" She struggled to sit up, her gaze pleading for answers. We turned to face Vritika, who had awoken with a look of shock, her eyes wide with disbelief.

"You're awake!" I exclaimed.

Vritika nodded, her eyes wide with confusion. "Yeah, I am, but are you my bhabhi now?!"

Jarek's jaw clenched, his voice firm. "She's nothing to you."

"But she said—" Vritika's gaze remained fixed on me, seeking answers.

"Ahh! Uhmm! Well, I'm not entirely sure myself..." I intervened, my words tumbling out in a rush.

Jarek's eyes narrowed, about to press me for clarification, when the door swung open and Matteo entered, followed by Adwait and Vidharth.

Adwait and Vidharth rushed to Vritika's side, and Adwait enveloped her in a tight embrace.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Vritika nodded, her voice trembling.
"Yeah, I'm fine, bhai..."

But before she could continue, emotions overwhelmed her, and she broke down in Adwait's arms.

"Bhai... woh..." she sobbed, her words trailing off.

Adwait comforted her, his voice soothing. "Shh, shh, baccha, I'm here. Don't worry, calm down. I'm here now." He stroked her back, offering reassurance as she cried.

I turned to Jarek.

"No need to panic, everything is fine now. Tell me what happened." But Vritika's tears only intensified, and Adwait decided to drop the inquiry, choosing to comfort his sister instead.

Vritika suddenly lifted her head from Adwait's chest, her tears staining his sherwani. "Bhai, did you get married to Anisha?" she asked, her eyes searching for answers.

Adwait's gaze met hers, and then he noticed Jarek and me standing there. His eyes locked onto mine, and I felt a surge of anxiety, thinking about the conclusions I had drawn.
And for a moment I regret staying here.

Jarek spoke up, diverting the attention towards him. "I have the same question too."

Adwait and Vidharth turned to him, their voices simultaneous. "Who are you?"

Vritika intervened, "He's the one who saved me..."

I looked at Jarek, my expression inquiring. He sighed, understanding my unspoken question. "She had your phone," he explained.

"Ohh." I nodded, comprehension dawning.

"So?" Vidharth's confusion was evident.

"My phone has a tracking system installed. I was drugged in the mansion when I was returning from the grand hall..." I clarified.
My words trailed off, leaving the unasked questions hanging in the air.

Vidharth's eyes widened in concern. "You were drugged?" he asked, and I nodded solemnly.

Adwait's gaze intensified. "Do you remember what happened or anything after that?"

I recounted my memories, "I just remember heading back to the palace to rest, and then something pricked my neck - a needle, I think. I called Jarek when I realized what was happening, and the next thing I knew, I was waking up in your room..."

Vidharth and Adwait exchanged weighted glances, their minds racing with thoughts.

I turned to Vritika, curiosity getting the better of me. "But how did you get my phone?"

Vritika's eyes were innocent. "I was walking in the gallery when I found a phone lying there. I thought I'd return it to its owner..."

Her words trailed off, and the room fell silent, each of us lost in our own thoughts.

"How did you find her?" I inquired.

Jarek sighed, "I was in Mumbai when I received your call. I left immediately and traced your phone's location. When I arrived, your phone was moving, and I followed it to her location..."

I pressed for more information. "Details, Jarek!"

He rolled his eyes and glanced at Vritika, who was clinging to Adwait's clothes, her face hidden in his chest.

"Let's discuss this outside," he suggested, and I agreed.

Before we stepped out, I queried Vidharth, "Did you notify your family? I don't think you should leave her alone."

"Yeah, they'll be here soon," he affirmed.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my head, and my vision blurred for a few seconds. I heard Jarek's concerned voice calling out to me,

"Ava!" Before my consciousness faded away...
