" Vicky what is wrong with you!" Tyler screamed falling out of him car. Vicky tried attacking him again but Stefan sped and grabbed her. Tyler tried to back and get away but Damon was there. I walked next to Stefan.

" What's going on here Aliza? What's going on with her?" Tyler asked looking at us three supernaturals.

" You don't talk." Damon cut in.

" Screw you dude." Tyler said looking at Damon.

" Dude? Really? Dude." Damon asked.

" Damon don't." Stefan shouted.

" Oh come on, who's going to miss this idiot." Damon asked looking at Stefan. I went towards them before Tyler can punch him.

" Ty no!" I caught his fist.

" Just compel him before I hurt you." I threatened Damon. He rolled his eyes and grabbed Tyler.

" Forget what you saw here tonight. None of us were here." With that Damon threw Tyler over his car. I punched Damon in the gut. He groaned and stumbled. He grabbed me and sped out of there bringing me home.

" Oh I'm sorry." Elena said coming into the bathroom while me and Jeremy were finishing brushing our teeth.

" Oh no it's cool." Jeremy told her. I just pretended she wasn't there.

" Your up early. Both of you." She said going next to me. I put my tooth brush back and walked over to J who was by the door.

" Doesn't Vicky have a search party out?" I asked J and he nodded, looking back to Elena.

" We're going to the Salvatore boarding house to check on Vicky. Liz, Damon and Stefan found her last night. You can come." I slapped him in the chest.

" You weren't supposed to tell her idiot." I rolled my eyes.

" You guys are supposed to be going to school." Elena stated like we cared.

" Your lips keep moving and I don't know why." I said bluntly.

" You coming or not?" Jeremy asked.

" Sure." She answered. I groaned. Jeremy was trying to get us to talk again. I love him for that but I'm not talking to her if she doesn't make an actual effort.

I rung the bell twice. The three of us stood waiting for someone to open and out of all people it had to be Damon.

" Stefan here?" I asked walking in J and Elena following.

" Yup." Damon said.

" And where is he?" I asked Damon.

" Good Morning to you little flare." My heart melted a bit. It's been awhile since we called each other nicknames.

" How can you be so arrogant and glib after everything you've done?" Elena asked folding her arms over her chest. I rolled my eyes.

" How can you be so brave and and stupid to call a vampire arrogant and glib?" Damon said back.

" If you wanted me dead I would be dead." She just keeps talking.

" Yes you would." Damon said with a light smirk.

" But I'm not." Elena said.

" Yet." Damon and I said, me mumbling under my breath but I know they heard it. Jeremy elbowed me. I faked innocence.

" Where's Stefan Damon?" I asked getting annoyed.

" He's upstairs. Knock yourself out." He said pointing with his head upstairs and walked out the house.

I walked to the stairs not feeling like walking all the way up, so I went up about 8.

" Stefan!" I called but he didn't come. I looked around.

" Stefan!" I said again turning to look back up the rest of the stairs.

" Yes." I jumped at his voice.

" Stefan I hate you!" I said slapping his chest softly. He smirked.

" We all know that's a lie." I rolled my eyes. I kissed him quickly and pulled away.

" Where's Vicky?" Jeremy asked. Stefan put a finger over his lips.

" She's upstairs." Stefan said walking down, me on his back. What? I'm lazy!

" What happens now? because there's a search party out there looking for her." Elena asked pointing towards outside.

" I'm working with her. It's going to take time. She has a very bottled and impulsive personality. That's going to play a part in how she responds to all this." Stefan whispered. I ran my fingers through his hair, still on his back.

" So she's a vampire with issues?" Jeremy asked a little sarcastic.

" What is going to happen? I am lying to almost everyone I care about." Elena stated. I looked to Jeremy and we rolled our eyes in sync.

" Elena shut up with that. Lying is the only thing keeping us safe. We established that." Jeremy told her glaring a bit. She immediately shut up.

" I'm going to keep her here with me, until I know she's safe." Stefan said kissing my cheek that I put against his. He's so warm.

" How long is that?" Vicky asked at the top of the stairs. Jeremy's eye lit up a bit. Elena looked shocked and I smiled at Jeremy. Stefan
turned to look at her.

" We can talk about that later." Stefan told her.

" Hey Vicky, how are you?" Elena asked nicely.

" Elena what kind of question is that. She just turned and you ask if she's okay. Obviously not." Jeremy and I said together word for word. I fist bumped him. Stefan looked amused and Elena was red.

" Exactly what they said." Vicky responded looking at Jeremy.

" Coffee is our friend. It's the caffeine. It circulates to our veins and warms our bodies so we're not so cold to the touch." Stefan told her with his mug in his hand. Jeremy and Elena moved to the living room behind us. I was next to Stefan.

" What if I want to drink human blood?" Vicky asked looking to Stefan from her mug.

" You're going to have to learn to live with that urge and fight it on a daily basis one day at a time." Stefan said looking back at her. I crossed my arms in the table.

" Ugh don't start of the whole 12 steps thing. My counselor tried it and it didn't work." She told Stefan.

" It can work, it's your choice Vicky." He said nicely.

" So you've never tasted human blood?" She asked Stefan with a salad smile. He tenses a bit.

" Every vampire has once in their life Vicky especially ones as old as him." I said my hand playing with the back of Stefan's hair. He relaxes.

" I haven't in a long time." Stefan spoke up.

" How long?" She asked being nosey. He let out a breath.

" Years and years. I'm not proud of my past self." He said plainly.

Your soulmate is a ripper. Once he drinks on human blood he can't stop. You can help him with that when he ever gets like that again. A voice in the back of my head said.

Are you my ancestor? I asked.

All will be said in good time. Right now I'm here to guide. They replied. They vanished away. Bringing me back to Stefan and Vicky.

" I'm gonna get her some more blood." Stefan said to me. I nodded. I go and stand. To stretch.

" Who are you calling?" I asked Vicky.

" Jeremy." She said. I slapped my hand to my forehead.

" He's in the living room. He never left, go ahead." I told her with a smile. Her smile widened. She ran into the living room. I walked behind her. I walked in to see Elena in front of Jeremy.

" What are you doing? Let them see each other." I told Elena standing next to Vicky.

" No. She can't see him anymore." Elena said sternly.

" Who said?" I asked tilting my head to the side.

" Me I did." I laughed.

" Elena no one cares what you think. Jeremy is the only bit of humanity she has left. S now move or I'll make you." I told her walking up to her, looking her dead in the eye. She moved to the side and I turned to Vicky.

" Proceed." I said. Vicky ran to Jeremy throwing her arms over his shoulders. Jeremy catching her. Their smiles so big.

" It's difficult to separate your feelings." Stefan said behind me making me jump.

" She's doing it really well. Bringing Jeremy here is making it easier." He said. I smiled at him and looked back at my brother and Vick.

" You think he can help her?" I asked.

" Yeah I do." Stefan replied.

I'm over here debating whether or not to kill Vicky. I think she deserved better and I want better for her.
