Garcia, who's not happy about her office bedroom, takes to wandering around the halls in her pajamas, talking to herself. Hotch shows up and tells her he needs her to come with, and he's still impeccably dressed in his suit, despite the hour. The two of them enter the elevator, Garcia looking to Hotch with shock filled eyes.

"What's going on?" Garcia asks. "There's been a major break in the case in the hitman hunting you" Hotch informs and Garcia widens her eyes in disbelief but knows Hotch wouldn't lie to her.

"We may have even found a way to bring the whole network down" Hotch says as he pulls out his phone, calling for back up...

Suddenly, a phone rings and the fellow back up closes the book she was reading and looks at her phone lying on her coffee table. The women seen is to be Alina Ivanov, the Russian DEA agent, who Hotch worked with before and helped her take down the CEO.

"Aaron Hotchner, this better be good. I read book, drink wine, have good time with women I bring back home since I do not work this week. What do you need?" Alina asks, after her small rant over the phone before Hotch begins speaking.

"How would you like to take down the dirty dozen? All of them" Hotch says over the phone and Ivana closes her book, setting it down on her table before her lips curve into a smirk.

"I thought you'd never ask..."

Reid arrives at a restaurant for a date. He sits at the table anxiously and waits for his plus one to arrive. Who could it be? Natalie? The women walks up to the table and introduces herself as Cat. Cat Adams, another woman that he's been courting online with and has yet to meet in person until now.

They continue to have small talk and joke around with each other before Cat proceeds to ask Reid about his 'wife', which makes him tense up and clear his throat nervously as he turns his head, seeing Natalie and Alina sitting at the same table, both of them holding hands and not making eye contact with Reid to not seem suspicious.

Reid is pretending to hire her to hill his wife and informs Cat that he would rather not talk about his so called 'wife'.

"Should we- uh, talk about price now or..." Reid asks, leaning in so his question is quieter and that's when Cat leans in as well, urging him to slow down and talk about what they really agreed to meet up for. "To have her killed" Reid whispers, referring to his imaginary wife that Cat doesn't know if imaginary, right?

"If she sticks to her regular pattern, she'll take him to a secondary location and kill him" JJ says over the headset as she takes a sip of her drink she just received from the bar. "That's not going to happen" Maya says softly into the mic as she looks across the table at Derek, who sips his wine, eyeing Reid's table discreetly while Garcia, who is back at the BAU with Hotch, gets visual of the camera inside the restaurant and informs Reid that she can see him.

Cat asks to take a look at Reids ring and Reid immediately allows her to. She takes a look at the ring and sees that it's brand new, and immediately realizes that it's a trap since Reid doesn't have a tan line or any marks that he regularly wears a ring.

"You aren't really married, are you" Cat says, but not as a question because she already knows the answers. She slips the ring into her purse and when her hands exit the purse, she cocks her gun back, making the sound echo throughout the teams' earpieces.

Maya slowly turns her head in Cat and Reid's direction, seeing how Cat keeps both of her hands under the table. She feels Derek's hand lay on top of her hers and immediately looks back towards him with a smile, not wanting to blow their cover.

Meanwhile, Natalie sits a few feet away from them and swallows a large lump down her throat as she looks into Alina's eyes.

Alina shakes her head, trying to signal to Natalie not to show signs of knowing Reid and Natalie nods her head, smiling towards Alina and proceeding to grab her fork and eat her food that she's ordered to seem like a normal customer.

Cat says Hello to Garcia as she leans into the table, knowing Reid is wearing some kind of mic that the rest of the team can hear what's going on right now. "Do you know why I'm so good at my job?" Cat asks, Reid staying silent and not giving her the satisfaction. "Because I know when I'm being punked" Cat announces, revealing she knew that she was being trapped, and so she brought a gun.

"See, I didn't walk into your trap," Cat says, keeping a smile on her face as a waitress walks past, "You all walked into mine..."

As the conversation goes on, Cat makes her way to Reid's side of the table and searches his body for his gun. Natalie discreetly looks over to their table before taking a sip of her wine and looking back at Alina, who carefully eats her food, continuing to make small talk with each other.

Once she finds his gun, Cat spots JJ and has her leave, then Cat asks Reid to give some information about herself. He states how she's a 'black widow' assassin who gets close to men so that she can kill them without them seeing it coming. Cat even adds that sometimes she gets them to shoot themselves, meaning, she specializes in making things look like suicide.

Cat asks for Reid's phone so they can play a game-he tells the truth for 30 minutes, or she'll shoot him. Her first question: how did they find her? And he answers that he says that they got a break in the case at the end of 'last year'.

THREE DAYS BEFORE

The door to Maya and Derek's house rings and Maya stands up from the couch, pausing her show on the tv. "Can you get that, babe?" Derek asks from the kitchen and Maya stands to her feet before going towards the door, opening it and seeing Reid standing in the doorway. "Oh, hey!" Maya says cheerfully as she escorts Reid into the house.

"How have you been?" Maya asks and Reid nods his head, "Good, good" Reid answers before Maya eyes him suspiciously before asking why Reid didn't tell her about the date Natalie and him had.

"Yeah, man, you could've told me when you got some game" Derek jokes as he enters the conversation and rest his hand on Maya's lower back. "Maybe around the same time you lost yours" Maya says jokingly as Derek pulls her closer to him.

"I never lost it, baby. I can promise," Derek says before he places his lips on Maya's and pulls away, "you that." Derek winks as Maya rest her hands on his shoulder before ushering him out of the way and grabbing a file off the stand next to the couch, which is the reason why Reid came over in the first place.

"Here. It's some research I found and those regular files you wanted" Maya says and Reid takes it with ease before placing it in his bag.

"And what's that?" Derek asks and Maya waves him off. "Nothing that concerns you" Maya says before Derek leans closer to her, kissing her cheek until he gets down to her neck, making her giggle happily before Reid's phone rings unexpectedly.

"Guys, Hotch has a lead on the dirty dozen" Reid informs, making Maya and Derek pull away from each other before locking eyes again, both looking to each other in shock.

The same morning, the team meets up in the conference and talks about Brian Cochran from the NAS, whom Alina and Hotch caught together. "I've placed him in a 24-hour locked at USP Terre Haute. The network has proven that they can kill anyone, anywhere, anytime, and now that they've targeted Garcia, we can't afford to lose any leads-" Hotch speaks before a knock at the door is heard and the team whips their heads in the direction, seeing a tall woman with long blonde hair at the door.

"Everyone, this is Agent Alina Ivanov. She's the one who helped me take down Brian Cochran and she'll be helping us with this case too" Hotch says as he walks up to Alina, shaking her hand while the rest of the team does as well.

"You all friends with big grumpy man, huh?" Alina asks, referring to Hotch, as she takes a seat at the table. "It's not an easy job" JJ jokes, making the team erupt into laughter before getting back to the conversation. They think they can get Cochran to talk and possibly get him to give more information about the league of assassins.

"That will be easy. Small man has breakdown in solitary confinement. He already made deal" Alina informs, her Russian accent seeping through every word before Hotch and Garcia state they've already talked to him. Cochran states that he doesn't know who the League are, just has codenames and specialties.

Giuseppe Montolo, the guy who originally made deaths look like accidents.

Then there's 'The Sniper', who is the one who killed Agent Graff and has killed people from over 2KM away.

The third assassin is 'The Chemist', who poisons dudes without leaving a trace.

The fourth assassin is a Mossad-trained bomber, who has bomb small cities and even towns because someone didn't pay him on time.

The last assassin, who has the highest body count, The Black Widow...

PRESENT DAY

The Black Widow... also known as Cat, the women sitting across the table form Reid, proceeds to criticize the team for having information handed to them, asking whether they actually profile, or if they just get lucky. She then wonders asked how they found her, and the answer was 'the NSA Guy told us'.

No one was claiming that psychology was in any way involved, how could it, it's a team of four assassins who kill anonymously after being hired on the internet, and one woman who goes out in public with her victims, because she's desperate to get caught.

Reid then explains that they figured out that the assassins must have a handler, and Aubrey's surprised that they discovered 'The Snowman'. He continues and says The NSA guy, Brian Cochran, told them the handler is the guy who built Silk Road- apparently, he was getting nervous, so the League members kidnapped him and his holding him in a safehouse. But Hotch thought they could use the NSA director's USB key to track the Snowman down online.

Garcia searched through the code, and finds a bunch of dank memes, suggesting that the Snowman is an idiot kid. Then she traced his network usage to the house where The Sniper was holing Snowman hostage. They waited until Sniper and Chemist were both in the building, and then shot the Sniper-but the Chemist killed himself before he could be arrested.

"Wow, I can't believe you guys took them out" Cat says shockingly as she keeps on eyeing Reid up and down, figuring out what question to ask next. "How do you think I learned to be an assassin?" Cat asks, making Reid furrow his eyebrows in confusion because how could he possibly know the answer to that.

"I read an article years ago. This woman... she went into a hospital and killed a man. She went into his workplace and killed him. The place where the man was supposed to feel secure, is the place he died" Cat explains and Maya raises her head up with knowingly suspicion. Was Cat talking about Maya?

Reid's eyes scanned all around, trying to figure out the answer to her question and when his eyes stopped on Cat's, and his face tensed up knowingly, Cat realized he knew the answer and grew a mischievous smirk on her face. "I'll let her stay a little while, but..." Cat says as she sees Rossi and Tara stand up in the distance and proceeds to move closer to Reid and cover the mic hidden behind his tie.

"I won't hesitate to kill the two feds walking toward me" Cat says, Rossi and Tara stopping in their tracks. "Tell them to stand down so my game can continue" Cat orders and Reid shakes his head. "Innocent people will die if you allow me to fire at them. I might shoot carelessly after that" Cat says and Reid narrows his eyes at her before he orders Tara and Rossi to stand down.

"Now, tell Maya Regan to come over here" Cat says, a smile plastered on her face. "What?" Reid questions. "Tell her to leave her random date and come sit... with us" Cat says as she bends down towards the mic hidden behind Reid's tie. Maya turns her head, looking at Reid, who nods his head.

Maya stands to her feet, and kisses Derek on the cheek. "I'll be okay" Maya whispers in his ear before adjusting her dress and walks to sit across from Reid and Cat. Maya looks down and sees Cat pointing Reid's gun at her and then her pointing her own gun at Reid. "Finally, your back up is flushed out" Cat sighs and both Alina and Natalie smile proudly as they clink their glasses together and take a sip of wine just two tables away from them. She thought.

"Why did you bring me over here?" Maya asks, "Because I want to know how you went from being an assassin to being... this" Cat answers, scoffing closer to Maya, who chuckles humorlessly. "Why? You think you can get the life I have even after my horrific childhood?" Maya asks, but Cat doesn't answer since it seems Maya already has the answer.

"Like you said- this team is lucky. I guess, I just got lucky" Maya answers, looking over to Reid, who keeps the same stern, focused face on that he's had throughout the whole conversation.

TWO DAYS BEFORE

The team interviews the Snowman. He explains that while he coordinated the league's jobs, they also had communications between each other that he didn't have access to, and so it won't be more than a day or two before they know something's gone wrong.

Also, the bomber never guarded the Snowman, so there are no leads on who they are or what they look like.

Later, after going over a list Cats hits, they discover that every time she was hired to kill a woman by her husband, she killed the husband instead. So, the plan became to lure her in using Reid.

PRESENT DAY

"So, tell us why men who want to hurt women are deeply personal to you. Men who are or are becoming fathers..." Maya trails off as she leans in closer towards Cat, looking into her eyes and seeing that Cat is beginning to get angry with the topic and obviously doesn't like being pressed since she likes to be the one in charge.

"Don't," Cat states, pressing her gun closer to Maya's stomach, "You don't get to ask questions because that's not a part of the game" Cat says, her breath rubbing up on the skin of Maya's cheek as Cat leaned in farther until Maya slowly sat back in her seat.

"You two have zero control. I outflanked both of you and your entire team" Cat says, making Reid and Maya chuckle as they shrug their shoulders. "You're speaking to an ex-assassin. Your moves were pretty obvious" Maya admits, "Such as?" Cat wonders and that's when Reid explains how she came into the restaurant armed, and changed the venue at the last minute in case it was a trap.

"But you knew this was a trap and you still came here" Maya realizes as she sees Cat press her lips together in anger. "You should've saw right through me the minute we started texting, and the minute you laid eyes on me when you walked over here" Reid says, "But you didn't... you couldn't..." Maya adds.

"Because you can't get to the man you really want to hurt so you need to hurt any man that reminds you of him."

"So, you can look at me differently because I'm just another girl with daddy issues. What about you?" Cat asks, looking to Maya, who shakes her head. "I didn't kill people because I wanted to kill my father. I killed people so I could be free of my father" Maya answers.

"I never wanted to find him, but you wanted to find yours" Maya says, her tongue sliding across her bottom lip tauntingly as she looks into Cats eyes, seeing her tough expression slowly die down.

"How hard did you look for him?" Reid asks and Cat swallows a large lump in her throat. "Very hard". "And how disappointed were you when you realized that you will never find him?" Reid asks and Cat bites down, taking in a deep breath before tightening her grip on both of the handguns that rest in her hands.

"Game over, bitch" Maya announces right before the stopwatch alarm goes off, hinting that the game is over. "Except, It's not over, right?" Cat asks and Maya crosses her arms over her chest as she looks between Reid and Cat.

"You didn't think we'd just let you walk out of here, did you?" Reid asks as Cat sits up in her seat, putting Maya on guard and making her sit up as well. "You guys' profiles so much about me, except you forgot to ask the most important question" Cat says, making Maya's eyebrows furrow in confusion but she quickly relaxes her face, so Cat doesn't see any of her confusion.

"Why would I make you sit here for 30 minutes?" Cat asks, "Because you're stalling-." "You must really haven't been paying attention then, have you?" Cat asks as she tilts her head slightly looking to Reid's eyes.

"Do you think I'd show up here without an escape plan? Or is that what just another girl with daddy issues would do?" Cat questions, using a petite innocent voice for her last question.

"You aren't here alone" Maya realizes as she looks over to Natalie and Alina at the other table and watch as they adjust their slumped over shoulder and proceed more aware of their surroundings while trying to keep up the innocent customer facade. "And my partner? Less paranoid than you think" Cat states as she looks over to Maya.

"You planted a bomb in the building" Reid states and Maya scoffs as she internally slaps herself for not picking up on it sooner.

"Are you serious? There are innocent people here!" Maya shouts softly as she looks over to Cat. "I know, but you didn't have a problem killing that innocent doctor, or that innocent... little... girl" Cat taunts and Maya widens her eyes slightly as she stares into Cats intense stare, seeing that she truly has no remorse for the lives she takes and the lives she will take.

"Cat: 1... FBI... 0."

"Here's how this is going to go. I want you to move all of your back up away from the building. If I see one cop when I leave this place, I will incinerate us all" Cat orders and Maya shakes her head. "That takes time. What you're asking for isn't easy-" Maya argues, trying to stall, but Cat sighs, annoyed, and leans over to Reid speaking into his mic behind his tie and states that all cops better not be seen when she leaves, or they will all be in the biggest FBI disaster since WACO.

The team that is not in the restaurant swarms into action and in the basement they look at the bombs and find they're remotely detonated and all Cat has to do is call the number on her cellphone and BOOM, which means they won't be able to block the transmission that might set them off unless they get ahold of the phone so they have more than enough time to get the bombs safety off the gas pipes.

"Maya, you need to try and see if you can find a phone before she tries to get up and leave" Hotch says into Mayas earpiece and Maya shakes her head as Cat continues to talk to her and Reid. "Hotch, I don't think she has a phone. She came in here with a gun because she knew that's all she'd need" Derek says into the mic, because he knows Maya can't talk right now.

Suddenly, the waiters and waitresses walk around the restaurant and give people their check so the team can minimize as much damage as possible. "Hm, that'll give me the cover I need to slip out, I just need to know it's clear so do me a favor and tell your boss that nobody leaves until it's safe for me to go" Cat says and Hotch orders that they have to let her go willingly until the bomb is defused.

"You can leave" Reid says and Maya sighs in disbelief as she looks to Cat who is smiling, waiting for her to get out of her way. Maya groans softly and scoots out of the booth, allowing Cat to gather her things.

Maya and Reid lock eyes, knowing they can't let her slip away that easily. Not when there is more information to be given and found. "But you won't-" Maya says, grabbing onto Cats arm before she can get farther away. Derek watches from afar with shock and intensity filled in his eyes because they were given certain orders to let her leave. But it's clear Maya and Reid refuse to follow those rules.

"Double or nothing to get you sit back down" Reid agrees, going along with Maya's plan as he looks up to Cat, who looks between Maya and Reid. Cat scoffs and snatches her arm away from Maya's hold and turns on her heel and begins walking away until...

"I found your father" Reid announces and Maya holds her head up high when Cat turns around to look at them, letting her know that they aren't lying.

Before the dinner, Reid has to learn everything about Cat, starting with her real name. So, he told Garcia to look for women whose fathers killed their mothers, and then had plenty of abuse in the foster care system.

Then she narrows it down by people who were in foster care homes where there was a suspicious death, because they assume that she's been killing people since she was a child.

Still, Garcia gets her real name... Catherine Adams, daughter of Daniel Adams, who did in fact leave the country in 1987 but returned in 2012. Reid ended up finding her father, who is a homeless guy who's living in DC by an amazing coincidence.

According to Reid's story, the guy is such a wrecked alcoholic that he didn't even recognize her.

"Why are you telling me this?" Cat asks. "Because you ask-" Maya starts off, but Cat cuts her off. "No, why are you telling me this? To help me? Because that's what you guys do, right? Help" Cat questions and Reid and Maya shrug their shoulders, trying to make Cat see them as people who truly want to help.

"You know how many men have tried to help me? Guess how that worked out for them" Cat says softly and JJ and Rossi shout over the earpiece that the bomb has been alarmed and Maya furrows her eyebrows slightly as she looks around Cat, theres no way she could've alarmed the bomb when she's had both her gun snd Reid's gun in her hands.

"She hasn't touched anything to arm the bomb, I can see it on Maya's face. That means the bomb is inside" Derek says as he holds his drink and swirls it around gently before taking sip, staying undercover.

"Then look for someone who has their phone out. Look for a woman" Hotch says over the mic and Maya begins looking around, keeping her head steady so Cat doesn't get suspicious.

Natalie covers her mouth after taking a bite of food and notices a women near the bar, looking at Reid, Maya and Cat from afar. "Women at the bar. Blue dress" Natalie says as she looks down at the table, while Alina turns to look at the bar.

"I think it's time we go, babe. Place is getting boring anyway" Alina says as she stands to her feet, buttoning her pant suit before placing her hand down towards Natalie, which she grabs and rises to her feet with a smile before Alina places her hand around Natalie's hip and starts to escort her towards the door, past the bar.

"I rather dance, not sit here and listen to horrible music made by sad white men" Alina voices as she and Natalie walk past the women at the bar and in one swift move, Alina grabs the bombers arm and twists her wrist roughly, causing the women to cry out in pain as Natalie gently swiped the phone from her hand.

The bomber swings her other hand to hit Alina, but Alina ducks and elbows the women in the nose while Natalie turns off the phone, making the bomb not go off anytime soon. Alina grabs the bomber by her hair and slams her head on the bar, causing Cat to turn her head in shock before grabbing Maya by her hair and standing her up and putting a gun to her head.

"Don't!" Cat shouts and Derek is the first one to raise his gun and point it in Cats direction while Natalie takes the bomber outside, but not before putting cuffs on her wrist. "I say you talk this out, no shoot or I shoot" Alina says as she catches her breath and grabs her gun from the pocket inside her suit jacket and walks next to Derek, pointing the gun towards Cat, who holds Maya at gun point.

"Cat, don't do this" Reid begs, stepping in front of Cat and looking between her and Maya. But it seems Cat has been outplayed, though since Derek says her father is in a car outside, and if she surrenders, he'll be charged with murdering her mother. But Reid doesn't want them to bring the father in, because we have to assume that she'll kill him and then get shot, and Reid wants to avoid further bloodshed.

"Let go of my girl or I will shoot you before you can see your father convicted" Derek orders while Cat looks to Maya, who keeps a strong face, not wanting Cat to see her weak. "I hope to be as strong as you" Cat whispers in Maya's ear before she shoves her to the side and drops her gun on the ground.

Alina walks towards Cat to be the one to cuff her, but she backs away from Alina. "I want Spencer to escort me out" Cat says and Alina stops in her tracks and looks over to Reid before handing him the cuffs to put around Cats wrist, which he takes and accepts Cats final request.

The Dirty Dozen was caught. Case Closed.

Reid escorts Cat out to the car and brings her up to a police van. Once they approach the van, Cat is awaiting to see her father, but when the van door is open... there is no one inside. Not a single soul besides the ghosts of the people who sat on those benches before her.

Cat sniffles in her tears and scoffs shockingly before she is roughly out in the back of the van.

Her father was never found. It was all a lie...

"Hey, thanks for helping us out. We could use you on the team" Hotch says, thanking Alina, who rest her hands in the pockets of her suit pants. "I get days off where I work. I have women to please. Not ready to save them yet" Alina says, making Hotch chuckle softly before he puts his hand out, allowing Alina to shake it, knowing they've grown a close friendship already...

Maya and Derek are walking down the driveway after arriving home after their crazy night. Before they reach the porch of their house, Derek grabs ahold of Maya's hand and turns her around. Maya smiles brightly and steps closer towards Derek before placing her lips on his. The kiss was slow, and Maya could tell that Derek was worried about her tonight.

But she pulled through like she always does.

Meanwhile, Reid drove Natalie home and the two sat in his car for a little while because Natalie couldn't convince herself to leave the car yet. "I'm glad you're okay" Natalie says and watches Reid look over at her with a smile on his face, but smile seemed more sad than usual.

"That story... about Cats father not remembering her that felt- pretty real" Natalie realizes as she recalls the conversation earlier tonight. "It's because it is" Reid confesses as he explains Natalie about his mother and how she has an early on set sign of Dementia, and she's slowly starting to forget the memories of her son and forget him completely.

"I'm so sorry" Natalie says softly before she pulls Reid into a hug, despite his high hatred for germs, Natalie didn't care and neither did Reid since he wrapped his arms around her as well and rested his head on her shoulders, staining her dress with his tears...
