Delilah's eyes widen as the lights turned off. All of a sudden she felt goosebumps rise on her neck, she reached to the back of her neck to feel all the little bumps rise

Fuck she thought

Her breaths became more uneven as her chest rising began to be more noticeable

"Delilah, are you ok" Alex asked as he noticed her breathing patterns were unsteady

"Delilah it's going to be ok, just breath ok, in and out, just follow me" Alex pulled Delilah's head towards his chest so she could feel his chest rising up and down

Delilah closed her eyes as she tried to focus on her and Alex's breathing
As the couple matched they're breathing, they could faintly hear Steve and Robin in the front

"That isn't gonna work dingus"

"Oh really"
Many clicks were coming from the light switch as Steve flipped them repeatedly

A few minutes later the lights finally turned back on as Alex kissed the top of Delilah's forehead and traced circles on her back to soothe her

"It's ok, it's over, it's all over" he whispered

"Let there be light"

Delilah laid in the backseat of her mother's car, her Walkman on her ears as she, Dustin and her mom headed back home from picking up Dustin from camp

"This is Gold Leader returning to base. Do you copy, over" Delilah rolled her eyes as Dustin was trying to reach the rest of the party

Dustin repeated the same thing expecting an answer, but nothing was heard

"I repeat: This is Gold Leader, returning to base. Do you copy? Over"

"I repeat: This is goddamn Gold Leader-"

"Dusty" The twins mom yelled

"WHAT" Dustin yelled

"Relax, for goodness' sake"

"I'm in range they should be answering"

"You've been away a whole month, honeybun. Maybe they just... forgot" Their mother reassured him

Dustin sighed as he looked out the window, then he jumped and looked at Delilah

"Do you know why they're not answering me, Delilah" Delilah took off her Walkman as she looked at her brother

"I never know what weird things they're doing, they don't bother to invite me to their hangouts anymore" that was the truth but Delilah knew exactly why the party wasn't answering him and she didn't want to ruin it for them

Dustin sighed as he gave up on trying to contact the rest of the Party

They finally arrived home as their mother parked in their driveway. Dustin put down his duffle bag as he sighed and rubbed his face. he looked towards his tank to see his tortoise staring at him.

"At least someone's happy I'm home" he smiled

"You replaced him with an inter-dimensional being, I don't really think he's happy to see you" Dustin turned to see his sister outside his room. She had quickly changed her clothes to go meet Alex at Scoops Ahoy (that's what she told Dustin at least) she had a leather jacket and black pants that matched her new black hair perfectly. Weirdly enough, Delilah felt perfectly ok even though it was basically 30 degrees outside

Dustin frowned at her choice of words as he rolled his eyes and looked down. Delilah looked at him feeling sympathy for her brother

"Hey, I'll be at Scoops with Alex, if the Party doesn't come, you can come to hang out with us" Dustin looked up to see his sister crouched down looking up at him. He smiled at her, at least his sister still cared about him

"Thanks, Sis" Delilah smiled as she stood up and shook her head, heading out the door she passed by the party behind a wall, ready to surprise their friend.

Delilah lightly chuckled as she looked at Mike. He rose his eyebrows as he caught her eye, she just winked at him signalling that he was clueless and that she didn't say anything. Mike smiled and muttered a 'thank you' she muttered back 'your welcome'.

Delilah scratched at a spot on her neck where vain-like lines grew on her collar-bone. Of course, the now unobservant Party (the boys) didn't notice but two other girls saw.

They both stared at Delilah as she headed to the door. Max looked back to see Eleven also staring, both knowing what they saw on her neck and where she went.

Delilah had left the house as she grabbed her bike and headed to a direction

The complete opposite way of Starcourt Mall

"Now" Mike muttered as he turned to Eleven, El opened her eyes as blood oozed down her nose indicating that she had used her powers. Dustin crouched down to inspect his toys, which turned on by themselves

The party crept behind him as they had a sign held up by Lucas. Max held up three fingers as she counted down, all of them with party kazoo's in their mouths except said redhead

Once Max reached zero, they blew into the party kazoo's, Max quickly putting her's on her lips

Dustin yelled startled, he sprayed the hairspray in his hand directly into Lucas's eyes

Both Dustin's and Lucas's screams mixed as everyone backed up

"Ow, ow, ow. OW" Lucas yelled as he put his eyes under the tap

"Better?" Max asked as she smiled at him

"Still stings" Lucas muttered as he blinked his eyes repeatedly. he opened his eyes as he squinted at Max's forehead, noticing a red blotch.

"Is that a new zit?" he said totally clueless of how rude that was. Max's eyes widen as she stared at her boyfriend in disbelief

"What is wrong with you" Max said as she shoved Lucas's head back in you the still running tap

"I was just askin-ahhhhhhh"

"I call it... The Forever Clock" Dustin said as he showed Mike, El and Will a handmade fan (or clock but it looked more like a fan to them) he made at camp,

"All right, Powered by wind. Very useful in the apocalypse"

he handed the item to Will as he looked at it in astonishment

"Then I give you... The Slammer" Dustin turned it and as he leaned it near El and Mike as they leaned away

"Pretty neat huh" he smiled as he bent down and grabbed a duffle bag

"But this, this is my masterpiece," he said as he dropped the bag on the floor, they all bent down to look at the item in the bag

"I'd like you to meet... Cerebro" Dustin said as he looked up and smiled

"What exactly are we looking at here," Mike said as he frowned at Dustin

"An unassembled one-of-a-kind battery-powered radio tower"

"so it's a... ham radio," Will said hesitating to say what he wanted to say

"The Cadillac of ham radios, this baby carries a crystal-clear connection over vast distances. I'm talking north pole to south" Dustin explained

"I can talk to my girlfriend whenever and wherever I choose" He smiled finally catching their attention

"GIRLFRIEND" the three yelled as they looked at Dustin for an explanation but he just smiled and nodded

"Wait, so her name is Suzie" Mike said as he, El and WIll followed Dustin to the door

"Suzie with a z, she's from Utah"

"Girls go to science camp" Will asked

"Suzie does, she a genius"

"Is she cute" Mike asked

"Think Phoebe Cates, only hotter," Dustin said as he opened the door

"What's going on" Max asked as she watched them go outside

"We're going to talk to Dustin's girlfriend" Will smiled. At that Lucas shot up from the sink as he blinked

"GIRLFRIEND" the couple both looked at each other before Lucas took his bag and left the house following the others

They left him. they all left him. They went up the hill to install Cerebro, and of course, Mike and El were the first to leave the group. I mean everyone expected it (except Dustin of course, he's been gone for a month) Then around night time Lucas, Max and Will left

Dustin was all alone, he would've taken his sister's offer if it wasn't so late (even if Scoops was open he would not have seen her there) so he had no choice but to leave. Before he could do anything as Will walked down the hill, distorted radio chatter was heard from his radio.

"Shit, shit, Suzie? Suzie is that you" he said as he grabbed the comm, a man speaking Russian was heard from the radio. Dustin's eyebrows furrowed as he listened to the radio

Dustin increased the volume to hear the man better, his eyes widened as he stared into the abyss listening to the radio

Delilah was standing in the middle of a warehouse, Brimborn Steelworks to be exact

She was standing there, waiting for their target to come, waiting for her order to attack.

"Who's there" she heard a yell

he's here The Mindflayer told her. Delilah hid behind a pillar, ready for her turn to go

"hey, I said who's there" Billy yelled before he was grabbed by the leg. he was dragged into the warehouse as he reached a flight of stairs, he grabbed the edge of the door leading to the stairs as the mysterious tentacle tried to drag him down.

he saw someone, it was a girl, the girl who knocked him out last year, he yelled again as the girl reached him. She bent down and stared at him.

"Welcome home, Billy," she said before she grabbed his hand and removed them from the door

Billy screamed as he was dragged down the flight of stairs. When he reached down he saw something terrible, it was a flesh monster, it was the one behind the tentacle. In fact, it had many other tentacles. It was like a big spider but made of flesh

a few minutes later, Delilah came down. She stood at the last few steps, staring at Billy with no emotion in her eyes.

What's wrong with her Billy thought

Before he could say anything, Billy was hoisted up into the air by the tentacle that was still wrapped around his foot. The flesh monster roared as it stared at Billy

A single tear flowed down her cheek as she lifted her hand. Billy stared at her as she whispered two words

"I'm sorry" the next thing Billy knew a different tentacle went into his mouth and everything went dark
