Max danced around as she sang along to the song "Angel" that was playing on the radio. Eleven flipped through magazines Max brought and stumbled upon a guy with tan skin, his name was in an unrecognizable handwriting

she would have to ask Delilah to teach her it later

"Oh, you found Ralph Macchio," Max said as she put down the hairbrush she was holding and kneeled beside El's bed

"Macchio?"

"Yeah, he's the Karate Kid, Hai-yah" max yelled out as she made a cutting motion towards El and laughed

"He's so hot, right? I bet he's an amazing kisser too" Max said as she fawned over the tanned boy. Eleven stared wide-eyed at her

"Hey- uh, is Mike a good kisser" max asked as she sat down on the bed in front of El

"I don't know, he's my first boyfriend" Eleven mumbled

"Ex-boyfriend" Max corrected, Eleven looked down in sorrow, did she really want to break up with Mike?

"Hey, don't worry about it, ok. He'll come crawling back to you in no time, begging for forgiveness. I guarantee you, him and Lucas are, like totally wallowing in self-pity and misery right now." Max said as she and El laughed

"They're like 'oh, I hope they take us back " Max mocked the boys in a fit of laughter

"God, what I wouldn't give to see their stupid faces," Max said. Eleven looked at her and smiled

"What is it" Max asked

Radio static filled the room, Eleven put on a black bandana as Max sat on the edge of the bed, filled with anticipation

"Is this really gonna work?" Max asked, El nodded

"Holy shit, this is insane" Max smiled

"Max"

"Yeah, quiet. I'm sorry" Max apologized. El cleared her mind as she focused on the boys. distorted voices filled her mind as she entered the void.

"What's wrong with me? What did I do wrong?" Mike asked as he crunched on his chips quite loudly

"Nothing" Lucas simply said. The static in Eleven's mind stopped as she fully entered the void and could see the boys. Mike was on the couch, Lucas was in front of him and Will was setting up DnD

"What did I do wrong? What could I have done wrong?"

"Do I have to go through this again" Lucas asked annoyed

"I see them" El stated. Max moved to the ground right next to El

"What are they doing" She asked

"Eating," she said as she analyzed the two boys, completely ignoring Will

"I just don't understand what I did to deserve this" Mike said as he continued to crunch on his Cheetos

"Nothing, nothing, that's my whole point, you're the victim here," Lucas said

"I know. its just, why is she treating me this way, I don't know" Mike asked, acting like a complete hormonal teenager

"Mike-" Lucas started in annoyance but Mike cut him off

"What did I do wrong" Mike yelled out

"Mike stop" Lucas moved Mike's leg so he could sit at the edge of the couch

"Relax, just relax, ok stop asking rational questions."

" I know, I know, you're right. Because women act on emotion and not logic" Mike stupidly said

"Precisely, it's a totally different species" Lucas continued

"They say ere are 'species' " El told Max

"What?" Max said in confusion

"Emotion, not logic" Eleven repeated what her ex-boyfriend had claimed

"What!"

"Guy's it ready" Will called out as he finally finished setting up DnD.

"Will, not right now"

"They broke up with you, what else is there to talk about" Will yelled in disbelief

"Tons"

"Yeah, we're trying to solve the great mystery of the female species," Mike said. Mike inhaled and then let out a burp. Eleven made a face of disgust as Mike chuckled

"Dude, you can smell the nacho cheese," Mike said as Will groaned in disgust

"I got that beat" Lucas smiled

"What" Mike said in confusion

"Oh no"

"no, Lucas no" Mike yelled in protest as Lucas slowly lifted up his leg. a huge fart followed as the boys yelled

Eleven took off the black bandana as she stared off into space, processing what she had just seen and heard. She stared at Max as blood dripped from her nose.

"What happened," Max asked. El just started laughing, Max soon joining in as she fell on the floor, both of them in a fit of giggles

a car motor was soon heard from outside

Hopper was back

"Holy shit, I can't believe we're really doing this," Max said as she wrote down names on yellow papers. they were doing a game similar to 'spin the bottle' except whoever it lands on, Eleven has to spy on them. Dustin, Billy, Delilah, Alex, Mr. Wheeler, Steve and Nancy were written on the papers

"Ready?"

"Ready"

El spun the empty Cola bottle, the tip landing on Mr. Wheeler.

"Mr. Wheeler" Eleven and Max chanted in unison

"ugh, boring" Max groaned

"Yeah, boring"

"Spin again," Max said, Eleven reached for the bottle but stopped

"Against the rules" El asked

"We make our own rules" Max shrugged and they both chuckled. Eleven spun again, this time, the tip of the bottle stopped on Billy

"Billy," Max and El said

"Ok, look I should just warn you, if he's with a girl or doing something gross, just get out of there right away before you're scarred for life" Max ranted as she grabbed the bandana and radion and handed them to the girl

"Max-"

"No, I'm just saying, I'm serious, he's really gross"

"Max!" Eleven yelled out

Ok, shutting up now" Max said as she put the radio on static and set it down on that bed. El put on the bandana as she slowly entered the void

Eleven looked at a blue Camaro and walked towards it, its window smashed, lights on, the boot open but no one inside the car. El heard whimpering and looked up from the car, there stood Billy, but he was with another person.

"I found him, but he's with someone" El said

"What's he doing with them"

"I don't know" she answered

"Don't be afraid" Billy and the mystery person said in unison, who looked more like a girl once Eleven got closer

"They're... on the floor"

"It'll be over soon"

"... talking to someone"

more whimpers from two girls were heard, Eleven walked forward, the cold water touching her bare feet.

"just stay very still" Billy and the girl both stood up. El could now see that the girl was more shorter than Billy

Billy and the girl abruptly turned around and now Eleven could see the girl's face

it was Delilah

"You see that too, right"

"You see that too, right" Delilah asked as she and Billy stared at a colourful shadow that looked like a person

"Ya I do"

"Ya I do" Billy stared, the two girls screamed in agony behind them

Billy and Delilah disappeared from the void as Eleven stared in horror

Eleven ripped off the bandana from her face as she took sharp exhales from shock, tears fell from her face as her eyes zoomed everywhere

"What is it, what happened," Max asked as El stared at her like before, but she wasn't laughing, she was absolutely terrified.
