Lucas, Nancy, Jonathan and Will hid behind the red car as the Mindflayer broke its way through the mall. The monster picked up the comms and roared into it. It threw it across the mall, it coincidentally landing near the red car.

Max, Mike, Alex and Eleven hid behind a counter near the Gap. The monster took back the flesh piece that was inside of Eleven's leg and roared. It picked up one of the dead bodyguards and threw them away.

"It's turned away. If we go up the stairs we'll make it." Mike informed after watching the monster.

"No way, not with El's leg" Alex disagreed

"We have to try" Mike insisted

"There's another way... to get out. Through the Gap." Eleven told them. Mike looked back at the monster to see still turned around.

"Ok" Mike panted out and nodded

"Now" Mike grabbed El's hand while Alex grabbed Max's. The four ran towards the Gap, knocking down a pole in the process, alerting the monster. They quickly hid behind a counter while the monster sent a flesh claw inside the store.

The claw grabbed a mannequin that had the same shirt El was wearing and shrieked at it. It realized it wasn't her and threw across the store, right beside where the teens sat. They stared at it in horror.

They quickly changed their hiding spot while one of the claws went near their other one. One of the claws neared Mike's side but before it could find them, Lucas had popped a balloon with his wrist rocket, distracting the monster.

"Go, go, go, go, go" Jonathan ushered them away from their hiding spot so they could leave. They reached the car and Jonathan quickly put the ignition cable in. While he was doing that, Delilah continued to rev the car, threatening them.

"Get the car started, go!" Nancy told Jonathan. She cocked her pistol and aimed at the car. Jonathan tried to turn the car on but nothing happened.

Delilah started to drive towards them at a dangerous speed and Nancy began to shoot at her. Before she could smash into Nancy and the car, Steve and Robin smashed into the blue car.

"I'm sorry Delilah, but your part Mindflayer" Steve breathed and apologized to nothing.

"Are you ok" he asked Robin

"Ask me tomorrow" she simply said. Before Steve could say anything else, the monster had crawled back onto the top of the mall roof, roaring and shrieking into the night.

"Get in" Nancy yelled out as Jonathan drove in front of their car. They hastily got out their car and hopped in the back of Nancy's car. They quickly drove away while the monster began to chase them.

"Ok, who taught Delilah how to drive!" Nancy yelled as she turned around to look at the others. They all pointed Steve who hesitantly rose his hand.

"Really Steve!"

Delilah crawled out of the car that was on fire from the crash. She coughed and groaned as she stood up. A buzzer sound and a gate opening was heard and she looked towards her right to see Alex, Mike, Max and Eleven trying to leave.

"Shit" Max swore as she looked at the girl. They all quickly turned around as Delilah started to walk towards them.

"Go, go, go, go, go, go" Max ran back at closed the gate to stop Delilah from following them but that didn't stop her. She quickly held the gate open before it could fully close. She slammed a door opened at was faced in front of her boyfriend

"Delilah, Delilah you don't have to do this. Delilah your name is Delilah, Delilah Henderson, twin sister of Dustin Henderson. You live on 7890 Clove street. Delilah please, I'm Alex, I'm your-" Delilah had punched Alex, knocking the boy out before he could continue what he was saying.

"Delilah, Delilah please I lo-" before Max could finish her confession, Delilah had knocked her out as well. Mike had tried to put up a fight, but at last, he was no match to the strength that Delilah had harboured. Eleven tried to use her powers but they weren't there anymore, she was defenceless.

Delilah smashed her face against the wall wall and threw her across the room, hitting the other wall, making her go unconscious. Delilah picked her up and put her across her shoulder, walking away from the three other bodies.

Delilah dropped Eleven in front of Scoops Ahoy. Hovering over her waiting for her to wake up.

"Don't be afraid. It'll be over soon. Just try and stay... very still." she whispered the same thing she had told Amara. The Mindflayer entered back into the mall. Eleven tried to back up with her injured leg while the monster tried to kill her.

Before it could do anything, a firework was set off onto it, Delilah coiled back in pain.

"Flay this you ugly piece of shit" Lucas yelled out and threw another firework at inside it's mouth. They all fireworks at it while Delilah shook in pain, yelling and thrashing. While that was happening, Eleven crawled away but Delilah roughly grabbed her injured leg before she could get to far.

Eleven struggled as Delilah dragged back in front of the Mindflayer and hovered over her again. Eleven stared at her in fear before she thought of a way to bring back the actual Delilah.

"Lonely... buddies" Eleven muttered out. Delilah stared in recognition.

"You and Mike... you were lonely buddies. You were on the s-swings, all alone. And then he came. H-he said you looked lonely and he was lonely too" Tears ran down Delilah's and El's cheeks.

"He... he told you, that you could be lonely together. You could be lonely buddies. And you were friends, best friends" Delilah closed her eyes, basking in the memory of when her and Mike met for the first time. They both nodded at each other.

"And you- you were happy, that you had friend" El reached up and touched Delilah's cheek with her hand. The last firework was thrown at the monster and it was now focused on Delilah and Eleven.

Delilah got up and let Eleven go. She stood in front of the monster with determination. Mike, Max and Alex ran to the front of the ice cream store, staring at Delilah. When the monster shot a claw out of its mouth, Delilah had stopped it.

"No!" She yelled out. It sent more out as she grunted in response. A bunch of claws stabbed into her side while she shouted. She let go of the claw in front of her. The monster lifted her up to do the final blow. But before it could, a dark mist had came out of Delilah's mouth, followed by a black liquid. The mist stopped the the claw from going near her or Eleven. All of a sudden, the monster dropped dead, dropping Delilah with it.

"Delilah" Mike, Alex and Max yelled out. They ran towards the girl who was now near death.

"Delilah" Mike breathed out as he kneeled beside her.

"Delilah, Delilah, get up please. Delilah get up, please, please." Alex cried while Delilah choked on the black liquid.

"I'm sorry" Delilah cried

"Delilah, Delilah, please don't go, don't leave me" Max sobbed as she lightly shook the brunette.

When Delilah took her final breath, a sob broke out of Max. As she cried her name, Eleven took Max into a hug. Alex and Mike joined the hug. They all cried, a sister, a friend and a significant other was lost.

Delilah was important to them and she was gone. Never to be seen again.

If your wondering why I didn't write the Byers leaving is cause it's not really necessary for this story to make sense. Also because I'm Lazy.

This series has finally come to an end. It's been more than a year and I've finally finished it. I will be writing LOTS of more books if you actually check my account I have lots In mind

I hope you enjoyed the Delilah series cause I definitely did.

Also this chapter is dedicated to -la-la-land- - who made the mistake of asking this question RIGHT after I finished writing this ending
