They were gone. They left, the Byers decided to leave Hฬธeฬธlฬธlฬธ Hawkins to escape the torture they endured. They had taken El with them since she had no one. Hopper had died a tragic death like Delilah Henderson.

Speaking of Delilah, let's go see what she's up to shall we?

3 months prior...

Delilah's corpse laid in Hawkins Morgue. Her dead body laid there on an examination table. Cold, white skin with dark eye bags.

The MindFlayer... Delilah always wondered why it wanted her, but then it told her that they were connected, connected since she was born. There was a tie between them. A tie she could never break, in some way they were the same, the same entity. Delilah didn't no how but it never told her, she wasn't surprised.

Delilah always imagined what the afterlife was like and what her death would be like. She was kind of... excited for it, she didn't really know. She always questioned if she would go to Hell for liking girls but she didn't care.

But now that she has experienced death, the taste of her last breath slipping away from her charred black covered lips. She wasn't all that excited. She had experienced a death she did not expect or wish for.

She wished to have died from old age. Live out her life, see the future. But she was taken too soon, too early in her life. She wished she could have seen her brother before she died. Could have seen his curls, hear him talk with his lisp, help him with it. Wish she could hear him purr again, oh how she hated it. Have him braid her hair as they both hummed to their favourite song. Have them argue over stupid things.

Eleven was so pure and innocent, but so traumatized and scarred. She experienced a lot of bad things out of them all. Delilah loved to teach her new things, loved to see her eyes full of glee and joy when she showed or taught her something new. At first she didn't like her, she had stolen Mike from her. But Delilah realized that she can't always have what she wanted and Mike isn't hers. So she let him go. Let him whisk away from her grasp and into Eleven's. It was her turn to protect him.

Max, oh Maxine. Max was once everything to Delilah, I mean she was the girl who helped Delilah realized that she even liked girls. With her beautiful fiery red hair and bright blue eyes that matched perfectly together. Max's sassy attitude always cracked Delilah up. She made her laugh and feel all wobbly. When Delilah realized that Max liked Lucas, she was heartbroken. She questioned if she would ever find someone to love. I mean, it's her fault that she fell in love with a straight girl, right?

Alex was definitely her favourite. Alex made Delilah feel safe more than anyone. He was always there, for her nightmares, when the MindFlayer took control, everything. He was her everything now and she hoped he stayed alive unlike her. Long enough to see the world, his future, his wife, his children, everything really. She also hoped he'd talk to his sister in California. He had told her that she left when around a time where they were both in a bad relationship together and he hadn't talked to her since. Delilah feels like Alex needs someone close to him to help him with her sudden death and she feels like his sister would be the best choice for that, from the description he had given her.

Then there was Mike, Mike had always made Delilah feel welcomed, like she belonged. They were the best of friends, always making sure the other was safe and felt ok. Delilah had a crush on Mike since the fourth grade and it never left until she forced it out of her when she realized he had liked Eleven. Mike was her lonely buddy and she always hoped it stay like that, even if she was dead.

Delilah's corpse started to... disintegrate. It turned into a similar mist that looked like the one that came out of her mouth before her untimely death. It started at her cold pale fingers and started to go up. It reached her elbows and continued to her torso. Her head was now mist and all was left was her lol legs.

When she completely disappeared, the mist lifted up and left the Morgue. It flowed with the wind and blended into the night. It had reached the deep thick forest of Hawkins and flew through it swiftly.

It reached a tree with a glowing red opening at the trunk. It entered the slimy opening and entered the so called upside down. Delilah's body began to slowly come back from the mist.

First it started with her pale cold toes and started to go up. It reached her knees and went to her torso. it finally brought back her fingers and a heavy breath escape from her now chapped purple lips.

Suddenly a bigger gasp escaped from her lips, brown eyes met the dark cold sky.

Delilah Henderson was back from the dead.

Isn't it lovely, all alone

Heart made of glass, my mind of stone

Tear me to pieces, skin to bone

Hello, welcome home

Uhhhhhhhh hey yall

So I guess I kind of tricked y'all that chapter fourteen was the last. it was very funny to see y'all cry over Delilah's "death".

But yeah, THIS SERIES IS NOT OVER AND IT WILL BE CONTINUED TILL THE DAY I DIE. I love this series too much to just let it go like that. Also the "ending" in chapter fourteen was too bad to end a series so I don't know how y'all believed it. I swear y'all are gullible.

Also did anyone notice this comparison/reference ๐Ÿ˜‹

(It's from the prologue if you were confused)
