chapter nine, What happens in the bunker...

Octavia and Nova are in the training room going at it with real weapons but aren't actually hitting each other with them or trying to cause real damage. Nova swings her sword at Octavia multiple times and Octavia dodges all of them until she can't anymore and trips onto her back. Nova reached her hand down and Octavia took it while Nova helped her up onto her feet.

"Just can't get tired. But you know you've always been better at fighting than me" Nova says sending a smile to Octavia who chuckles to herself while fixing the wraps around her knuckles. "Can I join?" Bellamy asks as he walks into the room. Nova takes a sip of her water and looks over to Octavia who sends her a nod. Nova shrugs and tosses Bellamy her sword.

"Begin" Nova says as she gets out of there way. Octavia attacks first and Octavia and Bellamy start to fight letting out grunts. Nova scoffs as she watches on the sidelines, "You fight like Azgeda" Octavia points out and Bellamy shrugs. "Not a lot to do in space for six years, picked up a few things. Let's get something straight. If Echo leaves, I am going with her" Bellamy states and Nova rolls her eyes pacing back and fourth watching the fight unfold.

"Ah!" Octavia shouts as she attacks Bellamy. "She is not your enemy. You don't even know her" Bellamy argues before Octavia pushes him away. "I know what she's done. Gina at Mount Weather" she says as she swings her sword his way, "Ahh! Ilian in the conclave" Octavia shouts throwing one more swing his way, "Me on that damn cliff!" Octavia shouts as her and Bellamy start going at it again until Bellamy knocks Octavia down making a gasp escape Octavia's mouth.

"We all have things to answer for, things that shouldn't be forgiven but are because we did them for our people, our family. Echo is no different. She was an Azgeda spy, but now she's with me, your brother who is trying very hard to understand who you are now compared to who you were six years ago. All I'm asking is for you to do the same!" Bellamy argues before he drops his sword and walks away. Nova puts her head down and starts to think about the Echo situation.

"Why does he have to do that?" Octavia asks harshly as she stands to her feet herself. "He always puts others before himself. 'it's either Echo stays or we both go'. I'm his sister!" Octavia shouts throwing her sword across the room. "Let's give her a chance" Nova says lifting her head to meet eyes with a confused Octavia. "Give her a test.. Echo used to be a spy... so she's good at talking to people. We can get her to find the traitors who want to leave Wonkru but we let Echo go with them" Nova says looking to Octavia who slowly starts to catch on.

"We get the traitors out and we get Echo out... for the time being. We get eyes inside so we can take the valley" Nova explains. "Once we take the valley we kick her to the curb" Octavia finishes and Nova snaps her fingers and looks to Octavia with a defeated smile.

After Octavia and Nova finished training they decided to deliver the news to Echo. They left the bunker to and was met by a bright sun. They went to the tent Echo was at and as they got closer they heard more of the conversation. "Bellamy. She's fighting an enemy she can't beat, and now Diyoza is using the fact that her people know it to pull them apart" Nova hears Echo say before her and Octavia enter the tent.

"What would you do it about it, spy?" Octavia asks as Echo looks around in confusion before she gets a little more comfortable. "The truth? Surrender. Only a fool fights a war they can't win" Echo states and Nova scoffs. "I've got a better idea. Spy for me. When that ship comes back tonight, people will try to defect, and I can't let that happen" Nova says taking a step towards Echo.

"That is not what I meant" Bellamy states and Nova puts her hand up silencing him. "No, but it's smart. If no one goes for the ship, Diyoza will think Wonkru's still unified. She'll lose faith in Kane" Echo says slowly starting to realize the plan. "What happens to the people that she turns in?" Bellamy questions and Nova shrugs before letting out a sigh, "Just- Root out the traitors, bring me their names before they defect, and your banishment is lifted" Nova says looking to Echo with a forced smile before she exits the tent with Octavia following after her.

"Now what?" Octavia asks and Nova sighs looking around outside before she enters the bunker again. "Now we see if she actually gives us the names" Nova answers as her and Octavia walk into Nova's office. "We are killing the traitors.. right?" Octavia asks as Nova sets her sword down on a table. "That's the plan. We find out who they are and give them there deserved fate" Nova speaks but she didn't realize Octavia getting closer and closer to her until Octavia placed her lips onto Nova.

"Mm.. Octavia" Nova mumbles in between the kiss before gently pushing her away. "What are you doing?" Nova asks as Octavia lets out a soft chuckle. "Things we've done before" Octavia answers as Nova sighs. "That was before-". "Before Clarke came back down. I know you are like in love with her so, this means nothing. Sometimes, people need a break from each other" Octavia says and Nova looks into her eyes and can feel the tension.

"Octavia-" Nova begins, "What? I saw her get into Niylah's tent before we got down here" Octavia admits and Nova's face tenses but she tries not to show her emotions. "Besides, what happens in the bunker... stays in the bunker" Octavia's whispers and Nova waste no time after that to place her lips onto Octavia's. Octavia deepens the kiss and removes Nova's jacket while Nova removes hers. Nova backs Octavia up until they end up by the desk. As Nova continues to kiss Octavia she knocks any unnecessary items off the desk before laying Octavia on her back. Nova starts trailing kisses down Octavia's neck while breathing heavily.

Nova unbuttons her pants and kicks off her boots while Octavia sits up and lifts Nova's shirt over her head before removing her own. Nova and Octavia lock eyes for a second before smashing their lips together once again.
