Blake was sitting in between Jade and Beck. She was drawing a honeycomb pattern in her sketchbook. The bee's had been out and buzzing around and Blake took up the opportunity.
"Ow." Jade spat as she flicked her finger. Beck and Blake turned towards her. "Stupid bee." Beck let out a small chuckle as Blake glared at him. "Sorry." Beck muttered as Blake looked back at Jade, "Let me sese."
Jade rolled her eyes and moved her hand towards the girl. Blake inspected Jade's finger, "You're all good." Blake kissed the girl's finger, "Good as new." Jade smiled at the girl, "Thanks, Blake."
Blake hummed and nodded before looking back down at her book. "Hey, sit." Beck said to Tori and Andre as they walked by. "Thanks." "Cool." Tori and Andre said at the same time. Jade groaned, "I don't want them sitting here."
"You know, it's great that you're so open with your bitterness." Tori sassed back and Beck spoke up, "She's just grouchy cause she got stung by a bee." Blake smiled a little.
"See that? Everybody but me." Andre complained, "Come on, bees. What's a guy gotta do to get stung?" Blake stopped her drawing and looked up at Andre compilating if she should ask or not.
"Ooh, script pages?" Tori spoke before Blake could. Tori reached over and grabbed Beck's pages hoping to look at them, but Beck reached back and took them, "Not for you."
"You auditioning for a play?" Tori asked and Blake finished her drawing. "Sort of. It's a movie." Beck replied. "That's so great. What movie?" Tori asked as Jade interrupted her by grabbing her pickle, "I'm taking your pickle."
Blake smiled at the girl and handing her the sketchbook, "What do you think?" Jade tilted her head and looked at the drawing before nodding, "I like it." Blake smiled, "I know you do." Blake grabbed her sketchbook and folded it up putting its away.
"So, a movie?" Andre asked. "It's called misfire. It's about this woman cop who gets fired and then goes on this crazy rampage." Beck explains as Tori nods her head, "That's so cool."
"Who plays the woman cop?" Tori asked as Blake pulled out a back of fruit. Jade gave the girl an eye. Jade has been watching Blake the past couple days and realized she doesn't eat much and when she does its small snacks.
"Melinda Murray." Beck said as Blake raised her eyebrows. Blake hadn't been impressed by Melinda, she saw her at one of her mom's wrap parties and didn't understand what the hype was about.
"Shut up." Tori gasped, "You're gonna star with Melinda Murray in a movie?" Beck shook his head, "Well, I'll be playing waiter number one and I only have two lines, that's if I get the part." Tori jumped up in excitement, "So, where's the script? I wanna read it."
"Well, you don't get the whole script unless you get the part." Blake jumped in explaining it to Tori, "They only give you a few pages to audition with." Tori tilted her head in confusion, "How do-" Blake cut her off, "My mom's a movie star. You pick up a few things here and there."
"Ow!" A girl yelled as the group lifted their heads towards the sound, "I just got stung by a bee." Andre stood up and yelled, "Ah, her? Really?"

Blake and Jade sat next to each other since Beck was off on set this morning. Jade had stole Blake's had as they listened to Tori demonstrate different ways to say a sentence.
"What did you do to my pants?" Tori asked as she did one of Sikowitz's activities. "Good. Now, terrified." He asked, "What did you do to my pants?" "Falling off a cliff." "What did you do to my pants?" Tori said as her voice echoed simulating her falling down a cliff.
"Excellent." Sikowitz said, "Now, as you can see, the same dialogue can evoke an infinite number of emotions, depending upon how the actor chooses to play it. Like a robot."
"What did you do to my pants?" Tori said in a robot voice. Sikowitz shook his head, "Wrong." Tori confused as well as the rest of the class looked at their teacher oddly. "Robots don't wear pants. It was a trick. Tori, you may sit. I suggest using a chair."
"I'll give it a shot." Tori nodded taking a sit. "Sorry, guys." Beck said as he opened the door.
How was working on the movie? Cat asked.
Beck shrugged his shoulders, "You know." Sikowitz cut Beck off, "Beck, you're late." "I'm sorry. We're doing this scene and there was a problem with the lighting."
Sikowitz, "Say it like a robot." Beck lifted his hands like a robot, "There was a problem with the lighting. I'm very sorry."
"Wrong." Sikowitz answered. "Wrong?" Beck questioned.
"You said you were sorry, and everybody knows robots don't have emotion and, therefore, cannot feel regret." Sikowitz pointed out, "You kids have got to do your robot research."
"Beck, sit." Sikowitz spoke as he counited the lesson, "Now, as we've clearly demonstrated, dialogue can impact a scene in many different ways, depending upon-" Sikowitz stopped as turned to Beck, "Dear gandhi, I'm boring myself. Beck, tell us all about the movie."
"Okay." Beck cleared his throat sitting up, "Well, my call time was-" Beck was cut off by Sikowitz leading him to the stage, "right, right." Blake smiled at Beck who counited to impress the class. Safe to say Blake was proud of him.
"My call time was this morning at 5 a.m." He started but was quickly cut off by Cat, "Oh, that's early." Nodding his head, he kept going, "Yeah. Well, they did my hair and makeup, and then the costume designer came to my dressing room and-"
"Wait." Jade cut in stopping Beck from telling the story, "The costume designer was in your dressing room?" Blake smirked at the same time as Beck, "Uh-huh." Jade raised her eyebrow, "Was she cute?"
Blkae had to admit she like jealous Jade, she was cute and fun to tease. Beck's smirk turned into a small smile, "He was adorable." Jade smiled and lopped her hand into Blake while crossing it across her body pulling her into her a bit. Blake took this opportunity to tease her now than later, "Your freaking adorable when you get jealous."
Jade looked at her ignoring the conversation knowing they'd hear about it later, "Shut up." Blake shook her head leaning up to her ear whispering so quietly no one could hear her, "Never, darling."
Jade raised her eyebrows again, "Darling?" Blake lifted her shoulder a bit, "I thought it fit you. It that or princess." Jade looked at the girl in awe. "Or both." Blake suggested gaining more interest in Jade. Blake just smiled at the girl as the bell run indicating the class was over. The two gathered their things and waited for Beck before walking out of class.

Blake was standing on set with Jade and the others. Jade had practically begged her to go on set with her. And it definitely took a lot for her to say yes.
"Hey, we saw you working that hot girl over there." Tori said trying to make conversation. Andre agreed, "Yeah, I think she's into me."
"Right." Jade nodded unamused, "We could tell by the way she ran screaming from you." Blake nudged her a bit, "Be nice." Jade flashed her a small smile before the director made an announcement, "Okay, people. People, listen up. Melinda's on her way to set. First positions, please."
"First positions." Cat yelled causing everyone to look at her. Jade shook her head and dragged Blake to sit next to her.
"All right. Now, on action, Melinda and Jeff will start their dialogue, and then our waiter, ah-" The director pointed to Beck, "Beck." He nodded repeating his name when Jade cut in, "Our boyfriend." Jade grabbed Blake's hand. This had been the first time Blake heard the boyfriend word. Frankly she was nervous to what people would say.
"Their boyfriend," The director say with ease. "Will come in, do his line, then move off to the left." He clasped his hands together, "Who's not ready? Good. Roll. Rolling." "Speed. Seventy-four; apple, take one." A guy on set said. "And action."
Blake was used to sets and how they worked. She'd been extra's in a few of her mom's movies but nothing big. She didn't want that, and nothing seemed to change her mind.
"Why the disgusted look on your face? Jeff said to Melinda, "I'm having dinner with you." She spat at him.
"See, that's the kind of attitude that got you fired." He said back. "I got fired because I was set up." "Good luck proving that." "I don't have to prove anything." "All I needed is-" She was cut off by Beck, "I'm sorry, the chicken breast isn't available today."
Melinda looked shocked at the Beck, "Wait, what'd you just say?" Blake was just as confused as the rest of them, "Cut. Can we cut so this guy can learn his line?"
"Hold. Melinda, please. Only the director yells cuts." The director said. Melinda shook her head, "he said his line wrong. He's supposed to say, "we're out of the chicken breast." Not, "the chicken breast isn't available today."
"So let the script supervisor tell him that." He said back as Beck stepped in, "You know what? She's right." He said trying to agree with Melinda, "It's totally my fault. I'll get it right this time."
"Hope so." Melinda commented before everyone got ready again. "Great, all right. Let's do this again." The director said, "Roll."
"Wait, excuse me." Tori cut in. Blake shot her eyes up to her. What was she doing. "Actually, beck got his line right." Beck shook his head at her trying to get her to stop, "Hmm. Sorry. No, no, no, no."
"What?" The director said as Jade whispered yelled at her, "Sit down." Blake nodded her head hoping Tori would stop. "See?" Tori said showing the script to the director. "Waiter number one's line is, "I'm sorry, "the chicken breast isn't available today."
"Oh, yeah. Kid, you had it right." He spoke. Melinda stood up, "Whoa, whoa. What are you?" Blake was not shocked by Melinda's reaction. "Tori Vega. Background player, big fan. Hi, Melinda Murray."
"Okay, an extra is correcting me on the set." Melinda scoffed. "I'm sorry, but you yelled at my friend, and he was totally right about-" Tori was stopped as Melinda pointed to Beck, "She's your friend?"
Beck slowly spoke, "Yeah, she's-" "Go." Beck caught off guard, "Go?" "I want you off this movie." "Melinda." The director tried to protest. "You want him here or me?" The director shrugged, "Kid, I'm sorry."
"No. It's cool." Beck frowned before leaving set. Tori jumped in, "No, no, no, no, no, no. Why'd you get mad at him?" She asked, "I'm the one who corrected you."
Melina hummed "Good point. Bye." "But-" Melinda pointed off set, "Out." But what if i-" Tori just kept going. "Go." Tori left and muttered under her breath, "Oh. That's not what I wanted to happen."
The director sighed before looking around his eyes stopped at Blake, "You." He pointed at her. Blake pointed a finger at herself, "Me?" The director nodded, "Yes. Can you act?" Blake looked around a bit at why he was asking such a stupid question, "I mean, yeah?"
"Come on, you're doing the part." Blake shook her head, "Uh." The director went to turn but stopped, "What's your name?" Blake blinked at his so suddenness, "Blake, Blake Brooks."
The director looked at her with a weird look. Jade was ready to fight the dude, but Blake shook her head. "Brooks?" The girl nodded. "Let's do this." He said but Blake didn't move. "Kid, let's go." Blake still made no effort, "No."
Jade watched her but didn't know if she should be angry or worried. "What? Why?" "Cause. Get someone else." She shot back as Melinda rolled her eyes sitting back down. "Kid I've worked with your mom. I know you'll be good. It's one line and you can leave."
Blake stood up, "Or I can leave now." The director was beyond pissed now. "What-" Blake stopped him, "Don't. I'm done." She said walking off, "Have a good day." Blake left as she heard protest. Once the girl was outside, she took a deep breath thankful she was out of there.
Blake hated sets. She felt powerless on them. Which was one of the reasons she didn't want to be an extra. She's lived in her mother's shadow, and she wanted to be her own person. Not River Brooks' daughter. Sure, she loved her mother, but she wanted to prove to herself that she was more than that.
The girl tried to take a breath, but nothing seemed to enter her lungs. A small tear exited her eye as she closed them, slowly she began to sink to the ground but before she hit the ground she was engulfed by a pair of arms. "Shhh, sweetheart. I've got you." Blake let out a sob and to a deep breath. Beck. She wrapped her arms around her boy taking in the comfort.
"Just take deep breaths." Beck comforted, "I've got you." Blake opened her eyes to meet his chocolate brown eyes. Oh, how she fell for those eyes. Every single time. "Let's go home." Beck offered as Blake nodded.
✩
The trio walked up to Andre and Tori. Andre was in a good mood as he was playing his keyboard. "Can we sit somewhere else?" Jade asked and Blake texted away on her phone. Her mom wasn't home last night to long shooting, so she heard about what happened on set this morning.
"Nope." Beck replied and the three sat down Beck sat in the middle while the other two sat of the side.
"Fine, we'll sit with the girl who can't keep her mouth shut and got you fired." Jade ranted at Tori while staring her down. Tori was quick to apologize, "Beck, I swear if there was anything I could do to make it up to you, I would."
"I bet you would." Jade said as Blake's head shot up. She was half listening to the conversation and Beck leaned over to her, "Everything alright." Blake nodded, "Yep."
"You know, if you really wanted to help, you wouldn't just sit there like a bag of doorknobs." Jade said, "You'd do something." Blake could feel Jade's frustration as she got up. "Where you goin'?" Beck asked as she walked away from the table.
"Anywhere else." Jade replied as Andre played on the keyboard again. "Okay." Jade said turning around and flipping the keyboard over, "Remove this, and that's for you."
"Wah, wah, wahhh" Andre said instead of playing it. Beck started to grab her things, "Better go hose her down." Beck stood up and looked down at Blake waiting for her, but she was texting again.
"I'm so sorry." Tori apologized again. "Stop saying that. Blake?" Blake looked up to see Beck starting at her. He nodded his head to get her to follow her. Blake nodded and grabbed her bag. Walking with him to find Jade.
"Are you sure everything is alright. You seem distant." Beck asked as they walked. Blake bit the inside of her cheek, "It's just my mom. Just her being disappointed. Apparently, the director emailed her about the scene." Beck wrapped his arm over her shoulder, "I'm sorry. If you need to crash at my place let me know." Blake smiled thanking him for the invitation.
✩
Jade and Blake were walking in the halls. "So, you're still on for tonight, right?" Jade asked as Blake confirmed, "Yep. My mom has late nights all weekend so I'm good."
Jade smiled and leaned in for a kiss, "Great." Blake slowly fell out of the kiss and looped her arm around Jade as they walked towards Beck's locker. Blake was quickly stopped by Jade. She looked towards Beck who was hugging Tori.
"One, two, don't let me get to three." Jade warned as Blake chuckled looking towards the ground and then back at Beck who smirked at the girl. "Come on," Blake said as she dragged Jade out the school doors but not before looking back, "You coming?" Beck nodded and said a quick goodbye to Tori, "Yes, sweetheart."
