"You know.." Alice starts, passing the bowl they used to make the scones, to Daisy so she could wipe it dry. "You looked just how i imagined you to."

Daisy paused, and then slowly began to wipe it again. "Really?"

"Yes, beautiful." She said and Daisy smiled, dipping her head down with blush on her cheeks.

"Thank you." she said shyly and got a wet sponge from the side to wipe the sides.

Harry should be helping as he made most of the mess..

"I'm sorry that i couldn't watch you and Neville grow up to be the people you are now." Alice spoke softly, not taking her eyes off of the cutlery she was currently washing. "And couldn't be there to give you support and advice when you needed it."

Daisy gulped, feeling tears spring in her eyes. She shook her head, sniffling a little. "It's okay, you don't have to apologise. It's not your fault. I'm just glad you're here now."

Alice placed the plates down and swivelled to look at Daisy. "You are a brave young woman, Daisy and I'm so proud of you." She sniffed, taking the plate out of Daisys hand, and bringing her into a hug.

Daisy closed her eyes, letting her mother wrap her arms securely around her. This was what she had always wanted. She felt safe.

Alice rocked them both back and forth, just living in that moment.

"If pigs could fly-" Harry started, lead flat on his back on Daisys bed as he watched her move around, moving stuff into her room.

Alice and Frank had got everything from her room in Augusta's house, and brought it back here. Same for Neville. Thank god Augusta wasn't at the house. She was sure to have a surprise when she got home.

"Then Id be jealous of you." Daisy commented, shoving her shoe boxes in the bottom of her wardrobe.

Harry blinked a couple of times. "Huh?"

"Because you would be able to fly."

Harry frowned, "Love, I said- Oh what!" he came to realisation and he sat up at a quick pace. "You're calling me a pig!"

Daisy snorted out a laugh, grabbing a box that was labelled, 'drawer things' and placing it on Harry's lap, giving him a sweet smile. "Now, can you please put whatever that's in there, in the drawer by my bed."

Harry gave her a dead look, trying not to smile at her sweet sarcastic smile, that was innocent looking. How can he say no? He playfully rolled his eyes, shuffling himself off the bed. "If I must."

Daisy grinned, turning back to sort her clothes out. She made a few different piles, ones of clothes that she didn't want or didn't fit her anymore, ones to put away and ones to just chuck.

It was about five minutes later and Harry had made no noise at all. He was awfully quiet and that worried her a little bit. Daisy, who was sat on her knees by the bottom of her bed, turned towards Harry to see him with a handful of what looked like letters.

"What's that, Harry?" She asked confused as to why he was so engrossed into what he was holding, with a huge smug look on his face.

He smirked as he turned to her, shrugging. "I dunno, you tell me. Tell me why you have kept all my letters from the years?" He couldn't even hide the smugness in his voice, even if he tried.

Daisy had gotten up at rocket speed, faster then she had ever moved in her life. She practically flied across the bed, knocking the box of of it and ripping all of the letters, out of his hand.

"I-" Daisy had no idea what to say. She couldn't lie because there was no point, he had already seen it already. She huffed, flushed cheeks and put them back in the box. "They were cute, okay?"

Harry grinned, gripping Daisys sides, making her stand in his part legs as he was sat on the edge of the bed. He looked up at her, loving the way how she was embarrassed.

If he knew all that time ago.. he would have never let it go.

She placed her hand on the side of his head, fiddling with his hair. "Stop looking at me like that, I forgot I even had them."

"All this time you were reading them."

She blinked. "You do have a way with your words."

He rubbed circles with his thumbs on her sides. "I know I do. I just can't believe that you looked me in the eye and told me that you'd never fall in love with me."

Daisy tilted her head, her eyes softening remembering the moment in her head.

'You will fall in love with me one day, Daisy.'

'No i won't Potter, fuck of.'

She dropped her head down, resting her head on top of Harry's, letting out a small laugh. "I was so harsh to you, I barley gave you a chance."

"I would do things differently if I had to do it again." Harry said.

"What do you mean?" Daisy asked, confused.

"I wouldn't bother you as much, and give you space and respect your decision when you said no." He hummed. "But I kept asking you because I was a idiot."

"You was a idiot." Daisy snorted and made a sound of surprise when Harry leaned back on the bed, his arms locked around her waist so she was pulled back as well, laying on top of him.

Harry was quiet for a moment. "Could you see yourself falling in love with me?"

Daisy moved her head so she was more comfortable, hearing his heart beat. That was a big question. Love. Love is a huge thing, it's not always easy, everyone expects so much from love but it just doesn't always match up to your ideal plan of it. Love just happens, and it's a crazy thing, a scary thing.

Daisy's silence made Harry think he said the wrong thing. "Forg-"

"Yes."

Yes, Daisy could see herself falling in love with Harry. That made her have a strange feeling in her stomach, a good feeling though. Harry was the person for her, he was stupid and ignorant in the past but he's learnt from that. Not being able to see him for two months, made Daisy realise how alone she felt when he wasn't around. It was more then liking him.

Harry stopped immediately. "You could see yourself falling in love with me?"

"Yes, I could."
