THE FIRST ENCOUNTER, 2x18

"Derek Shepherd just punched someone in the face!" Oliver yips as he grasps his older brothers shoulders and gives him a small shake. "Because he was talking to El! Oh gosh, do you thing the guy was making a move on Derek's girlfriend — on our sister?!"

Atlas stares at his blabbering younger brother, who's way too obsessed with the hospital drama. "Wait, so Derek punched someone in the face?"

"Yes!" Oliver exclaims, waving his hands in the air widely before he turns around and practically races down the hallway. "He's kinda good looking, oh, we've gotta go see! Maybe he'll like you!"

So when Atlas and Oliver enter the Emergency Department, where the interns are all huddled outside of a room where Atlas can clearly see someone sitting on a gurney with a mirror to his face. "He's just waiting?"

The interns turn their heads, having not noticed that Atlas was now standing right in front of them, them all being to engaged with the man sitting on the gurney.

Christina nodded, "Each one of tried to go in but no, he wants an adult, not a baby doctor." She said mockingly, face twisting slightly.

Atlas smiled slightly, stepping towards the examination room and swung the door open. "Good morning, I'm Doctor Lee-Sunny." He picked up the chart that someone had made. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Sloan."

"Doctor, Doctor. Sloan." Mark looked away from the mirror, eying the man who had entered his room. He eyed the lab coat, which had the embroidered department he worked in — cardio. "You're a heart surgeon, why are you here?"

"Because you won't let anyone else touch you." Atlas smiled as he put on a pair of gloves and sat on the rolly stool. "And if I can suture hearts together, I can definitely fix your face."

Mark hums and Atlas continues to get the kit ready to suture his face. "For the most part, Derek and I always did have the same taste in women." Derek was dating Eliza Lee-Sunny, who had fallen head over heels for the hot shot neurosurgeon. Mark had been talking to Eliza, which created a domino effect.

"Excuse me?" Atlas tilts his head, eyes narrowing with curiosity as he fiddles with the thread.

"She was Derek's lusty girlfriend, right? Heard about her all the way back in New York. She's famous." Lusty girlfriend. There's a long pause, Atlas doesn't know what to say. He doesn't want to confirm that Derek was indeed dating Eliza, because they were still trying to keep it on the down low. "Oh my, she's your sister! I see it now."

"Hmm." Atlas hums as he nods his head. "She is my sister, younger, but yes."

"My 400 dollar an hour shrink — "

"Four hundred dollars shrink? My god! T-that's a lot. Like a lot." Atlas gasps, almost dropping the tweezers in shock.

"Yeah yeah...you know it's funny, Derek..." Mark goes to turn his face to face Atlas, but the cardio surgeon grasps his face so he's staring straight so he clean the wound on his cheek. "Derek walks in on me naked with his wife actually in the throes. And he just turns around and walks away, but he sees me so much as talking to your sister and I'm on the ground bleeding. Interesting, don't you think?"

It was interesting, and Atlas was still trying to wrap his head around the fact that Derek had done that. If Mark wasn't actually harming Eliza, what was the problem? Atlas doesn't respond, he doesn't know how to reply. He places a towel on Mark's shoulder and moves to start suturing his face.

"What do you think you're doing?" Mark questions, never having actually confirmed that Atlas could suture up his face. What if it turned out horrible? What if he messed up. What if?!

"You need stitches." Atlas states the obvious, giving Mark the signature Bailey look, one that sent the interns running for the hills.

"I know." Mark holds up a mirror, smirking. "Hold the mirror."

"I'm an attending, and cardio attending. And I can stitch up for face." Atlas states, not picking up the mirror and keeps the suturing items away from Mark.

"No." Mark.

"Yes." Atlas.

"No." Mark.

"I can." Atlas.

"You can't." Mark.

"I bet I could do it just as good as you." Atlas.

"You couldn't." Mark.

"I could." Atlas.

"Fine." Mark scowled.

"Ha!" Atlas cheered.

MY BF WAS A WHORE, 4x14

"What's this?" Atlas asked Mark. The man in questioning had a sad look on his face. In Atlas's hand was a date and tell form for the staff of Seattle Grace to fill out. They had to list the people they had sexual relations with.

"Oh, that. That's what having fan girls does." Mark told Atlas as he randomly scribbled on some paper, drawing circles and avoiding his boyfriend's prying eyes.

Atlas sighed and sat down at the nurses station, "Okay. What's wrong?"

"None of the nurses will operate with me. They're all mad about me sleeping with other nurses months ago and now being your boyfriend." Mark told Atlas dryly, a fake smile plastered on his lips. Mark really loved being in a relationship with Atlas, he was so happy.

"Oh. Oh, well the nurses like me?" Atlas tried — normally he was good with these kind of things, but the word 'manwhore' just echoed in his head, if it wasn't he might have said something a little better.

"Of course the nurses like you." Mark deadpanned, "Even when your mean they love you. You make them cookies and cupcakes."

"Oh." Atlas paused. "I'm sorry, baby."

"Yeah." Mark sighed and went to move away but Atlas was quick.

Atlas lightly grabbed Marks hand. "I have an idea."

No more than half an hour later, Atlas had gathered almost all the nurses who could be gathered. (he put the interns on watching patients so he could get even more nurses, because haha interns.)

Atlas and Mark stood side by side, Bailey was standing off to the side watching the two chitchat quickly about what was going to be said.

Atlas turned towards the nurses that had been kind enough to gather. "Hi," Atlas waved. "I don't have any authority — okay, I am the chief of cardio but whatever. But id like to share my thoughts on Doctor Sloan, my boyfriend."

"Your doing great." Mark leaned over and whispered, throwing his thumbs up.

"So." Atlas pointed to Mark. "This man is a whore... has always been a whore — I hope he stops being a whore because we're in a committed relationship." The group of nurses giggled and Mark turned a bright shade of red. "But, I mean, that's not a secret. He's was not keeping it hidden months ago when you slept with him. You all knew who he was before you got involved with him."Atlas shrugged, "and now all of you" — he pointed to the nurses — "you all are just mad that I get his dick and you don't. But you can't be mad at me for that because I give you cupcakes and cookies, and sometimes do your charts."

"Hey." Mark sighed lightly, glancing towards his boyfriend with narrowed eyes.

"He's nasty, but he's a doctor here and a pretty good one." Atlas paused and sent a look to Bailey. "And in the wise words of Bails, 'let's get back to our jobs so he can get back to his job and help the people that really need it.'"

The nurses continued to stand around, "You can go now." Bailey clapped her hands.

WANNA MARRY ME, 6x08

"Oh. Is that the preemie?" Miranda questioned as stepped closer to Alex. Her face was twisted in confusion, not really expecting Alex to have picked up the baby bundled in pink.

Alex looked down to the baby cradled in his arms. "Oh, yeah." He nodded. "I was just, uh... well, I tried everything — and Sunny over there did it first!" He whisper shouted, more in a fear that he could get into trouble for picking up the baby, he knew damn well that Bailey could end up giving him shit.

She wasn't going too, instead she smiled. "Kangaroo. The way you're holding the baby, it's called a kangaroo hold."

Alex nodded, "Atlas mentioned a kangaroo hold."

"There's been cases where the kangaroo helped the baby's thrive. But Karev, look at the numbers." Bailey pointed to the monitor, showing Alex that the baby's numbers had increased.

Alex chuckled, "Heart rates going up."

"Yeah, it is, and her temperature is normal. Karev, you may have just kick-started this baby's entire system." Bailey smiled at the man.

Then she turned towards Atlas, who was still rocking the baby he had picked up. "How's yours doing?"

"Improving slightly." Atlas briefly informed as he went back to rocking the Hannah.

"Take off your shirt. Both of you." Bailey commanded.

"What? No. Take off your shirt." Alex instantly shot back.

"Bails, I'm flattered." Atlas grinned. "But me and Mark—"

"Just — the kangaroo hold, it's most effective when there's skin-on-skin contact. It's usually the mom, but, you know, you two are gonna have to do." Bailey shrugged as she explained in a short way how the kangaroo worked. More so explaining that it worked best when shirtless.

When neither Alex or Atlas ( Atlas was internally screaming, never once would he have thought to hear Miranda Bailey ask for someone to take their shirt off ) didn't start to take off their shirts, she got a little more demanding, if that's what you'd like to call it. "I'm not kidding. Take off your shirt!"

Alex looked down at the baby cradled in his hands, he sighed deeply. He gently placed the baby back into its incubator before he shrugged off his shirt and lazily threw it to the floor.

Bailey have a thumbs up before she turned to Atlas, who had still not taken off his shirt like she asked. "Your turn."

"Bails." Atlas groaned.

"Nope, shirt off now." Her tone was snappy and it made Atlas slightly scared.

When he didn't move, being stubborn, Bailey started him down. The look in her eyes made Atlas stand up and hand her the baby, before he too shrugged of his shirt and pink gown and took the baby back.

An hour later, Mark, dressed in a pair of fresh smooth scrubs, entered the nicu. "Hi baby."

"Hi!" Atlas smiled brightly, very very happy that his boyfriend had come to see him. "What are you doing here?"

"I just had a question." Mark stepped closer into the room and moved so he was standing in front of the rocking chair Atlas was in. "Don't drop this baby, okay?"

"Okay...?" And then Atlas saw what was happening. Mark Sloan slowly kneeled onto one knee and reached into his pocket, retreating a small velvet red box. "Marky."

"Atlas Lee-Sunny. Im not going to lie, I didn't fall into love with you the first time I saw you. But I fell in love with you pretty quickly. You have made such a difference in my life that I, honestly, don't know what else to say. I hope to spend forever with you, and then spend the rest of our lifetimes finding out way to each other and spending them hand in hand." Mark Sloan, the manwhore, changed and now on one knee with a soft smile on his face. "Will you, Atlas, marry me?"

"Yes!"

"Thank god!" Alex cheered. "Took you long enough."

WINK WONK, 8x06
Atlas was walking down the hospital hallways when Lexie Grey walked up to him, grabbing him by the arms and stopping him. "Hey, hi."

Atlas smiled towards the fourth year resident. "Lex, hi. How can I help you?"

"Can you go have sex with your fiancé and make him nicer?" Lexie asked, raising her eyebrows with a pleading look in her eyes.

Atlas blinked away the shock of Lexies words, "W-what?"

"He's so hard on me, and he's grumpy and you're so sunshiny." Lexie deflated as she talked, hating that she's on Marks service well he's grumpy. "He's like that one care bear no one liked."

"Wow, Lex, is he really that bad?" Atlas knew his fiancé was definitely that bad, it's not the first time someone had said something to him. "Wait — I know it is."

"Please! Or bring him your dog so he can cuddle him! I don't want to be in the middle of his grumpiness anymore." Lexie rambled slightly, shaking Atlas's arms that she had a hold on. "Please."

Atlas chuckled and walked towards where his fiancé was, he slowed his steps and mentally prepared what he was going to say or do. He wasn't sure if he would grab Marks hand and take him to an on-call room, take him to the hospitals nicu to see the babies, take him away from the hospital in general, or just talk to him.

"Atlas!" Miranda Bailey tapped Atlas on the shoulder, snapping him out of his overthinking. "You need to do something about your fiancé..."

Atlas turned and looked to where his fiancé had been, but wasn't anymore. "I know! I know!"

"He's heading towards C.T." Bailey pointed out, sticking her thumb over her shoulder as she pointed towards the direction where C.T was.

Atlas nodded, smiling thankfully and speed off towards the C.Ts, where he hoped his grumpy Mark was. When he rounded the corner, he spotted his fiancé sitting in a rolly chair with a bored look on his face.

"Hi, baby." Atlas peeked his head in, smiling in hopes that his pretty smile was contagious enough for Mark to smile back. He didn't.

"Hey." Mark spoke quietly, eyes darting towards the computer that still didn't show scans.

Atlas pointed towards the empty chair beside his husband. "Can I?" Mark nodded do Atlas took a few steps forward until he reached the chair. "I heard you've been grumpy."

Mark rolled his eyes and groaned. "I'm not grumpy ... was it Lexie? She'll never learn —"

"No, no. It wasn't just Lexie. Baby, is it Jackson? You lost your plastic resident and your burn patient yesterday. But come on, Lexie was in the hallway begging me to have sex with you." Atlas deadpanned and chuckled afterwards. He kinda thought it was funny after his initial shock.

"She what? Begged you to have sex with me?" Mark asked slowly, trying to process his fiancé words along with trying to rack his mind as if he had truly been a grump person lately.

"Yeah! All your rules and picky things are driving her up the wall." Atlas reached out and grabbed ahold of Marks hand, "Is this your last patient? Do you wanna go get coffee, or go see the babies, or the dogs?"

"Can we, uh, go home for lunch?"

HUSBAND AND HUSBAND, 8x23
Five hours before the flight to Boise.

"I here by welcome you, to the wedding of Atlas Peter Lee-Sunny and Mark Everett Sloan." The older man officiating the wedding said. "Today, we are gathered on this day to celebrate a new chapter in their lives. Now, I met Atlas here when I offered him a job many many years ago, and the same goes with Mark" The older man, Richard Webber, smiled as he talked. "I have been asked to keep this short, not to tell any embarrassing stories I've heard from friends and family, or ones I've witnessed. So let's get right into it."

"Both grooms have prepared vows they would like to read."

Mark unraveled a piece of paper he pulled out of his pocket. He took a deep breath before he started to talk. "Atlas Lee-Sunny. You brightened up my life the second you walked into the examination room and insisted if you could suture me up. A months later, you picked me up at the airport because no one else would. That's when I felt like I belonged with you. You weren't afraid to show me a playful side of you — you had never been afraid to show me any side of you. You showed me how to be myself, you unlocked something inside of me that would have stayed hidden, or maybe not, maybe I would have stayed a manwhore. You brought out the best of me on my darkest days. You stayed by my side whenever I needed you. You are everything and anything I could have possibly ever needed. My love for you is beyond what I ever thought I was capable off. I had started to love you and your cheesy pick up lines from the beginning, it had just taken me awhile to figure it all out. I promise to love you, to be honest with you, to be the person you can count on when you need, to be the light in the darkness... I promise to be by your side until the day we die. I love you."

Atlas sniffled — along with most of the crowd and Mark — he brought his hand up to wipe his eye before he pulled out a piece of paper and cleared his throat. "Mark Sloan. What can I say that some of the guests haven't heard before, from your partying days." The guests laughed, that line had been prepared. "When I had met you, I was the new surgeon in town still, and so were you. I didn't know much about Seattle, and I didn't know anyone besides the odd few. You had wiggled your way into my life so quickly, I couldn't even imagine what it would be like if you hadn't. You had shown me things that I didn't want to experience with anyone else. You always took time out of your day to see me, to have a conversation with me. You had even stopped what you were doing to come and get me and my person, because we were so drunk that we thoughts the ice cream police were after us. Hey no giggles over there Ollie. You're my other half. It may sound cheesy but you are. I had never experienced a love like the one you gave me. Like the one we have together. There's so many things I want to say. I want to tell you how I'll always be there, because I will and I promise to do so. I want to tell you how much I thank you for just being you, because I am so thankful for it all. I want to thank you for putting up with me, because I know I can be a handful, and so can my family. But you stayed, and I could never thank you enough. I love you so much, more than you could ever know. But let this wedding, let this be a start of a story where I can give all my love to you, because I am nothing but full of love that belongs to you. I love you."

Both Mark and Atlas were crying when Atlas had finished talking. Mark didn't even hesitate to lift his hands and use his thumb to wipe away some of the falling tears on Atlas cheeks.

"And now: Atlas Peter Lee-Sunny, do you take Mark Everett Sloan to be your husband?" The old man officiating the wedding wiped his own eyes, Richard Webber was so happy that he was able to do this. "Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect him, forsaking all others, and holding only unto him forevermore?"

Atlas nodded without any other thought, "I do."

Richard nodded. "And Mark Everett Sloan, do you take Atlas Peter Lee-Sunny to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect him, forsaking all others, and holding only unto him forevermore?"

Mark looked Atlas right in the eyes, both men holding in their tears, "I do."

"And now by the power vested in me, it is my honor and delight to declare you married. Please go forward in this next step of your lives, and go forth and live each day to the fullest. You may now kiss the groom."

Atlas cupped Marks face and leaned in, bring his lips right to Marks. Everyone around them clapped and cheered as the two newlyweds kissed happily.

"I am pleased to present the newlyweds, Atlas and Mark Lee-Sunny-Sloan."
