Jackson Avery was getting married ?!

Atlas had been shocked, wide eyed when Jackson had came to him in the middle of the night at his home in the woods. He knocked, and knocked, until the dogs barked and woke the house up.

"I have no one to walk me down the aisle!" The young man cried out, his car keys jingling with each movement. "I don't know what to do!"

Atlas wasn't sure why he was standing on his porch at 1:45am. The sun was down, and the only light was coming from inside the kitchen where Atlas had flicked on the lights. "Jackson, it's 2 in the morning. Go back home to bed."

Atlas was too tired. He had been awake for 27 hours straight, back to back surgeries, and this was just another thing that was keeping him from his much needed sleep. Though, Jackson wasn't having it when he wiggled his way into Atlas's home. "If Mark was here, he could have walked me down the aisle."

"Men topically don't walk down the aisle with their dads, Jackson." Atlas pointed out softly, but it didn't mean much, he would have walked down the aisle with his father if he could have. "It's okay."

"Milly and I talked about it, she wanted us to both walk down the aisle with our fathers. It's weird, I know, but —"

"How about your mom?"

"She said she wouldn't. Something about it being a stereotype and she wasn't accepting it."

"Atlas can walk you down the aisle." Derek chimed up, holding a blanket in one arm and mug of warmed milk in the other. He approached the two, smiling softly. "So you two don't know each other the best — just let him do it."

"Mark would have wanted too walk me." Jackson accepted the milk from Derek as he sat down on the overly soft couch. "We talked about it over beers, yknow."

So, Atlas had spent the night not getting sleep, and not enjoying some action with his husband, but searching the wide arrange of photos he had. He wanted one of Mark, smiling in a tux. It took him two hours before he found one where he wasn't standing beside anyone else, just a picture of him.

Found the best frame ever, wrapped it, and when Jackson woke up the next morning on Atlas's couch where he slept, Atlas handed him his gift. "You walk with him down the aisle."

Jackson Avery may not be able to walk with Mark Sloan holding him up, keeping him from stumbling down the aisle, but Jackson Avery is able to walk Mark Sloan down and set his picture on the reserved seating.

As Jackson Avery's man (woman) of honour, Eliza Lee — Sunny had to attend Milly James's bridal shower. Her sister and two cousin were there, both very sweet and friendly, but they kinda stole the show.

The day was supposed to be about Milly, but the others all talked about their weddings. When a gift was unwrapped, Milly would smile as her sister and cousins spoke about how they used their salad spinner so much. And how they used their coffee maker every morning.

Eliza was kinda fed up with it, but she shoved that down, and handed Milly another pretty wrapped gift.

"This is from your ... sister." Eliza handed her a smaller wrapped gift, but she watched as her eyes lit up and Milly looked so incredibly happy.

She started to unwrap the gift, but paused before she took the lid off. "You got me mom's veil, you know how much I wanted it, you remembered." She spoke in such a soft tone, that his sisters face twisted in a look of regret that Eliza seemed to notice.

"Milly, maybe you should open that later —" her sister started, reaching for the gift, but Eliza just shifted her body so the woman couldn't grab anything.

Milly opened the gift, pulling out a very white frilly pair of underwear with pears dangling. Her poor eyes looked like they were ready to pop out of their sockets as she held it up and everyone she worked with at the fire station looked at it, looked at her.

"Amazing!" Pruitt Herrera, station 19s captain, called out from where he eating food and not paying attention.

Eliza looks up, grinning as she lets out a laugh. Milly is looking mortified as she tries to shove the underwear back into the box. The group around them; Andy, Jack, Maya, Travis, Vic, Dean, and Robert Sullivan, aka Robbie to Milly, are all sharing looks and laughs.

"I — Milly, I just thought Jackson may like that on your wedding night!" Her sister spoke, trying to justify her actions and trying to mend the embarrassing situation. "My husband loved it when I had something similar."

"I can buy my own lingerie!" Milly exclaimed, the box falling from her lap as she stood, and the pearly frilly underwear spilled out into view again. "Or! I can have Jackson pick it out. Not you."

"Tilly Milly, hun, I was just being nice." Her sister spoke softly, "I was just trying to get you a gift your enjoy."

"I would have enjoyed mom's veil!" Milly snapped, staring as her sister with her arms moving around. "I told you I wanted mom's veil, but you get me pearly frilly underwear instead!"

Eliza stood, gently placing herself between the two sisters. "How about we play some games, yeah? Sullivan had a wedding dress toilet paper game planned."

The event ended with Travis and Dean in toilet paper gowns, Milly not speaking with her sister, and Eliza was swinging back a beer beside Jackson as she told him about the underwear and how Pruitt had said it was amazing.
