Chapter Five
- Third POV -
The next day, Klaus and Elijah both walks into the courtyard and looks at a delivery woman.
"Hello, Sire Klaus Mikaelson, Sire Elijah Mikaelson." The delivery woman greeted them with a bow.
"Christy sent something." Klaus said.
"She did, yes." The delivery woman said and hands him a clipboard.
Klaus gently takes the clipboard and signs it with his signature. "Thank you."
"You are welcome." The delivery woman said. "Your package is on the table."
And the delivery woman activates a portal and disappears through it.
Klaus and Elijah looks at the pastry package and walks up to the table. Klaus reads the note from his wife, Christy.
Have a good day. Or at least, try to.
Love you, Honey. - Christy
Klaus smirks and opens the pastry box, which has beignets inside.
"Christy knows me too well." Klaus said.
"Yes, she does." Elijah agreed. "And she also knows that beignets are your favorite pastries."
Klaus and Elijah exchange small smiles at each other.
Shortly after...
In the ballroom, Klaus and Christy are video chatting with each other on his phone. He's sitting on the staircase.
"I appreciate the gift of beignet pastries that were delivered to me." Klaus said.
Christy chuckled. "Well, don't eat them all, you'll get a stomachache." She playfully teases.
To which, Klaus chuckled. "You love teasing me, don't you, Love?"
"Yeah, I do." Christy said.
"Luna and Trinity are with the kids group at the Camp Orasani." Klaus said.
"Alright. I gotta go." Christy said. "Alas, parting is such a sweet sorrow."
Klaus and Christy exchange humorously chuckles with each other.
"Love you, Hon." Christy said.
"As I love you too as well." Klaus said.
Christy hangs up her phone. And Klaus just sits there on the staircase.

Later that day, Christy slowly walks into the main room and looks at the mentors and the training equipment.
[Christy Outfit]
She gently folds her arms and looks around at everything as she remembers her training.
"Reminiscing about your training here?" Zacharias asked, slowly walks up to her.
"Yeah, I am." Christy said. "This place hasn't changed."
"Yeah, it hasn't." Zacharias said and gently folds his arms. "So, have you come here to visit or just to reminisce?"
"I just wanted to visit." Christy said.
"You and I butted heads. But a part of me always know that you were getting better than me." Zacharias said.
"Yeah, we had our tense arguments, but once the tension was settled, you and I were on good terms." Zacharias said.
Flashback -- Orasanian Elite Academy -- Before Graduation
A 23 year-old young adult, Christiana, is sparring on a free-standing punching bag.
Zacharias slowly walks into the main room and looks at Christy. "You can train and train all you want, Christiana, you will never reach the top."
Christiana gets frustrated and looks at Zacharias. "And when, I finally defeat you, you will leave me alone."
And then, Zacharias gets frustrated. "You think you're better than me, Christiana? Get a sword."
"Fine?!" Christy exclaimed.
Both Zacharias and Christiana takes a wooden sword and walks onto the training gym floor mat. They both engaged in a tense sword fight. But as they get into a sword lock and exchange tense looks at each other, Zacharias's tense expression turns into a soft expression and pulls himself away.
"What? Had enough?" A frustrated Christy asked.
"No, I'm done." Zacharias said, and tried to walk away.
But Christiana holds her wooden sword up to his neck, still frustrated with a serious expression on her face.
"Don't start a sword fight you can't finish." Christy told him.
"You're better than me, alright." Zacharias admitted.
Christy's frustrated look becomes confused and she lowers her wooden sword. "What?"
"You're better than me, Christiana, and you've surpassed the other trainees here." Zacharias admitted. "Why did you think I kept decreasing your grades on the grade board? Because Zhang and I both knew that you would surpass the other trainees."
"So, you and Zhang?" Christy said, starting to realize.
"Yeah, we were protecting your grades, Christiana. The trainees strive to be the best. But you, I've observed your training courses, you were getting better and better, and your grades were getting higher and higher, so, to protect you and your grades, I decreased them." Zacharias tells her.
Zacharias and Christiana exchange looks at each other. He shows her his sci-fi tablet with Christy's grade of 160%.
"Whoa." Christy said, surprised.
"That is your real grade." Zacharias said.
"But that doesn't excuse all of the bullshit you put me through and you were hard on me." Christy tells him.
"Like I said, I was protecting you, so, was Zhang." Zacharias said.
"Why are you telling me this now?" Christy asked.
"Because I wanted you to know the truth about why I was decreasing your grades." Zacharias tells her. "And I meant what I said, Zhang and I don't have favorites."
Zacharias and Christy exchange soft looks at each other.
"And I'm sorry that I was hard on you. I really am, Christiana." Zacharias said. "I'll see you at the graduation ceremony."
Zacharias walks away. And Christy sits on the training floor mat, cross-legged sitting position, progressing what Zacharias told her.
Present Day -- Now
Zacharias and Christy sits at a table.
"I've changed so much." Christy said.
"Yeah, you have." Zacharias said. "And now, you're The Greatest Orasanian Warrior Heroine. I'm proud of you and I know you're proud of yourself."
"I am." Christy said.

"Visiting Luna and Trinity?" Aediphae asked.
"Yeah, just checking on them." Christy said. "How are they as a duo?"
"They're great at working together. And they do some good combos." Mrs. Aediphae tells her. "Tritocus and I can tell that you have trained them at home."
