The next day, in the study, Christy sits atop the desk, playing Candy Crush on her phone.

Klaus and Elijah both slowly walks into the study.

"Christy? We need to talk." Elijah said.

Christy looks at both Klaus and Elijah. "Sure, what's up?"

Klaus and Elijah exchange looks at each other and Elijah nods at him.

"Klaus? Elijah? What's going on?" Christy asked.

"Will is dead." Elijah tells her.

Christy looks shocked. "What? No, that's impossible. I saw him last night. He was fine. I went to visit him."

Klaus, Elijah and Christy exchange worried looks at each other.

"What the hell happened?" Christy asked, with tears starting to form in her eyes.

"Last night, I was out in the French Quarter and Stark possessed me." Klaus told his wife, Christy. "He . . . he made me kill Will."

Christy looks at Klaus, not saying anything as a tear rolls down her cheek, processing what has been told.

"Please, say something. Please?" Klaus said.

"Does that explain the blood I saw when you were washing your hands in the bathroom sink last night?" Christy asked.

"Yes." Klaus replied.

"And then, you lied about it?" Christy asked with slight anger in her voice, gently wiping the tear from her cheek.

"I had to." Klaus said.

"Why? You could've told me." Christy told him and looks at Elijah. "Elijah, did you know?"

"I did." Elijah replied. "Niklaus told me what happened. I wanted him to tell you, but he was more concerned about the outcome of your reaction."

Christy gets up and slowly walks away.

"Christy?" Klaus said.

Christy stopped walking and turns around to look at her husband. "I just need some space, okay? Where is Will's body?"

"Lafayette Cemetery. Next to Camille." Elijah said.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and she walks away.

"At least, she knows, Niklaus." Elijah said.

Klaus turns to look at Elijah. "You saw the look on her face, Elijah."

Klaus and Elijah exchange concern looks at each other.

In the courtyard, Klaus quickly walks after Christy.

"Christy, wait?" Klaus said.

"Not now, Klaus." Christy said.

And then, Klaus vamp-sped in front of Christy. "Yes, now."

"Klaus? I don't know how to feel right now, okay? Will wasn't just my best friend, he was also Vincent's and you and him tolerate each other for my sake. And clearly, Marcalos sent Stark to mess with you. And possessed or not, Will Kinney is still dead, and I don't know if the Golden Fleece works on humans, but knowing, Vince, he'll probably tell me not to. So, I don't know how to feel, Klaus." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"When Stark possessed you, were you aware of what was going on?" Christy asked.

"No, I wasn't." Klaus tells her.

"Don't you get it? Why do you think Marcalos is so obsessed with you? Because there is a lot of blood on your hands and somehow, either the darkness finds you or you find the darkness, and you can't seem to stay away from the darkness." Christy said.

"I have gotten better. I have changed." Klaus said.

"I understand that, but I didn't ask you to change. There is no changing Klaus Mikaelson because you will always be you." Christy said and sighs to herself. "You're the Original Hybrid, I know that. And I love my husband more."

"Niklaus?" Elijah said from the second floor balcony railing. "A word, please?"

"Not now, Elijah." Klaus said.

"Yes, now, Klaus." Christy tells him. "I'm sure whatever it is that Elijah needs help with, he needs you."

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"You know where I will be." Christy said and walks away, golden-dust teleported away.

- Third POV -

Later that day, after Christy had left, Klaus and Elijah are in a study, looking at some cuneiform books from the bookshelf.

Klaus sits on the couch. "What's the point of going through these cuneiform books?"

"Well, how else was I supposed to get you away from the growing tension between you and Christy?" Elijah said.

"Marcalos has been a pain in my ass and now, I can't get rid of him. He continues to bother me and mess with me whenever he wants and I don't know how to stop him from not bothering me anymore." Klaus said and throws a book on the floor in frustration. "I have a bad feeling this is just the beginning of something worse between myself and Christy."

"Christy is both angry with you and grieving the loss for her friend, Will, it will take some time." Elijah said.

"And I had a part in it for Will's death. Possessed or not, I still killed him and now, his blood on my hands." Klaus said. "Christy won't ever look at me with affection again. All I will ever be to Christy is a reminder of Will Kinney's death."

Klaus and Elijah exchange worried looks at each other.

Minutes later, Klaus and Elijah gently walks down the stairs and into the courtyard where Rebekah is.

"Rebekah." Elijah said.

"Elijah? Klaus? I'm gonna be staying around for a little while." Rebekah said.

"Well, that's good. Not sure what for, but your company is always appreciated." Klaus said and slowly walks away.

Elijah and Rebekah exchange worried looks at each other.

Later that late afternoon, Klaus slowly walks into his and Christy's room and sees Christy's duffel bag on the couch.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Christy?" Klaus said.

"There's nothing you can say, Niklaus. The damage has been done." Christy said to him.

Klaus looks at her. "I can fix this."

"No, you can't. You can't even fix yourself." Christy said. "I'm just packing a few things."

Klaus looks at Christy dejected. She finishes packing her duffle bag.

"Without me or Elijah in your life, you're nothing." Christy said.

"That is not true." Klaus said and slowly walks up to her. "Christy, please? The one thing you taught me about love it's worth fighting for."

"And sometimes, you can lose it." Christy told him.

Klaus and Christy exchange glum looks at each other. She gently takes off her wedding ring and gently sets it down on the coffee table.

"I don't know who you are anymore. I don't know this person standing in front of me." Christy said.

"I'm your husband, Chris." Klaus said.

"Really? Are you sure about that? Because right now, I don't see my husband anymore, I see the Original Hybrid Klaus Mikaelson." Christy told him.

"Please, don't do this." Klaus said.

"I'm sorry, Niklaus." Christy apologized with a saddened look on her face, getting her duffle bags and walks away.

Now, in the courtyard, Klaus sits at the table and Christy looks at him.

"Don't come back to Mount Orasani unless I say so." Christy told him.

Klaus and Christy exchange dejected looks at each other.

With her duffle bag, Christy walks away. Activating a portal with her magic and walks through it.

Klaus looks at Christy's wedding ring in his hand. From the second floor balcony railing, Elijah, Rebekah and Freya looks at Klaus.
