Sanjana's PoV

I was shamelessly humming Bollywood Songs completely off-key, but who cares! No-one ever came by the romance areas in Rajasthan, most people hung out by the Engineering Textbooks and Science Textbook areas. I, on the other hand, was obsessed with teen romance. I shuffled through the chick flick books, wondering where my latest hold was.

Odd...

I headed over to where the old librarian was napping, "Chachu, do you know where 'Roses and Thorns' are?"

Chachu Arun snapped awake, "Roses and Thorns? Hm, have you checked the garden?" He mumbled sleepily.

I sighed, "Nahi! I meant the book."

Chachu looked around for his glasses when they were quite literally on his nose. I reached out, and adjusted them.

"Ah, thank you Sanjana!" He beamed, wide awake now. He reached into the library records, Chachu was still very old-fashioned, he used paper records.

"Ah, someone's checked it out." He yawned, and handed the record to me. I frowned,

"Kamlesh?" I was mildly surprised, a male had checked out 'Roses and Thorns'. He'd checked out the book two weeks ago, I frowned with annoyance.

"Can I have this guy's number?" I turned to Arun Chachu. He wiggled his eyebrows, "Interested in my nephew, are you?"

"No, I just wanna know how soon I can get this book." I rolled my eyes,

Puh-lease! Me? I prefer chips to men.

I went back to my apartment, sighing and crushing over a few hot celebrities. I opened Whatsapp and typed in a message: "U done with Roses and Thorns?"

I got a reply: 'Who Da Heck Are You?'

Sanjana: None of your business, I placed a hold for Roses and Thorns.

Book Stealer: Ah, Sanjana. My uncle told me about u

Sanjana: ...so you stalked me?

Book Stealer: U wish 🙄🙄

I went back to the library in an hour, and headed towards Arun Chachu. I spotted a tall and lean young man standing there, he was chatting with Chachu.

"...Book Stealer?" I called out hesitantly, the guy turned around.

Oh shit... Someone kill me now!

Kamlesh Nagarkoti stood in front of me with his charming smile on his face.

"So... Miss Librarian.." He grinned, I bit down on my lower lip. He fished something out of his backpack, a book.

"A brand new copy of Roses and Thorns." He informed me, I smiled and took the book from him. I opened the book and saw a note on it. I read it out loud, "I could use some more book advice, coffee?"

I looked at him with a sheepish smile, "Uh... Are you sure this was meant for me?"

"Yes, Library it was for you." He rolled his eyes,

"Alright then, I know the perfect place." I smiled giddily.
