I don't have ten things about me I can divulge. I'm in witness protection.

Alright, that's not true. Okay, here goes.

I'm six foot and built like a Tinker Toy

I love drawing and design and have since early school years. Studied architecture but couldn't afford university. Moved on to mechanical drafting and bluffed my way into a plant layout position with Honeywell Controls.

Joined my dad in a printing brokerage business and did a lot of design work.

Left after 5 years and started an art department in a type house.

12 years later I retired, sick of the adage that the customer was always right.

We sold everything we had (including the kids), went to Palm Springs, Cal. with another couple and bought a small hotel. Not quite the fantasy we imagined but a super experience meeting people from all over the world as well as some major celebrities from the entertainment world.

Moved back home to care for Nat's mom and back into business for myself. Had a very successful run on my own and got to do the designing and the art I loved.

Finally forced out by technology I retired again, doing free stuff for friends.

Writing became a hobby to fill time and I felt I could do at least as well as the stuff I watched on TV and then became a bit of an obsession. I just write and write and now have a file packed with unfinished ideas (many worse than what I watched on TV).

A wife I met in high school and have spent the most wonderful life sharing. She has advanced Alzheimer's and my time is now spent caring for her.

If I hadn't discovered Wattpad and consequently this PoetsPub site to lose myself in the free moments I get. . .

I think you can find ten things in this to groan over.
