- A shortie black-haired boy with red highlights wearing skimpy crop tops and high-wasted jean chanted loudly while shutting his eyes tight, hoping for something to happen.

"UGHH,
Fail again!!! This is the last spell in this book, and none of them have worked!"
The young boy felt frustrated about the results of the "spell" that he had spent, perhaps too much material on.

"Welt black roses, yellow spirit candle, heartthrob's leaves, crushed frogs' larvae,.... EVERYTHING iS CORRECT!"
Vivara screamed in frustration and threw his phone across the door, (miraculously it did not break), desperate for some miracle to manifests, to just pick him up from this boring life and brings him on a journey of a great adventurist or just anything else really.
"THIS SHITTY SPEL-"
Just as he was about to punch the ground, a green-haired boy with neon highlights wearing traditional Chinese clothing came in, looking awkwardly at the surrounding then just left.
O_O.
Then came Lisa, the famous girl next door brunette who has every boy simping for, Nghi, a quiet yet friendly, sociable and hardworking raven hair asian and Long, the bald and obviously chubby gay but doesn't admit he's gay because he has a girlfriend type.
"What the fuck are you doing? We heard the noise way back at the hallway."- Lisa curiously asked.
"I was just testing this spell book, none of them worked, the last one I did says it will give you some kind of power if successful but again, it did not work so." -Vivara replied while picking up things on the ground.

"Whatever, we're late for math already, break's over."- Long said.
"Uhm, guys, is this supposed to be here?"
Nghi pointed at a shiny spark at the edge of the bookcase. The spark resembles a bright kite-shaped crystal floating around, jittery all over the place.
"Wait, let me see"
Vivara stared at it intensely, remembering what the spell was.
"AH! It's the crystal that the spell said!! An iridescent crystal!!!"
"VI WATCH OUT!!!"-Lisa shouted, pulling her friend as close as possible.
Behind him the crystal got faster, shaking violently just like it's getting pumped with more energy each second.
Then, a beaming light overflowed the room, blasting every corner with the shiniest shade.

Sunset came, making the bright orange sun reflect it's majestic color on the school's pond, creating this ethereal canvas of harmonious yellow and orange tones.
He opened his eyes, all Vi could see is the white ceiling of the infirmary along with the monotone vibration of the fan. His friends were next to him, one by one getting up from a seemingly long rest.
"How did we get here?"-Nghi asked.
"Something must have happened when the crystal thing exploded."-Long answered.
A middle-aged ish tired-looking nurse with deep heavy sacks under her eyes and messed up white coat appeared:
"Well, I'm tired.... So basically, *yawns* you guys somehow fell asleep on top of each other, in the janitor's *yawns* closet at the same time. Makoio found you *yawns*. I tried my bes- *yawns*t to wake you up but nothing worked. "
"Uh....did we have any injuries?"-Lisa asked
"None."
Vi's POV
"That's suspicious, that's weird"- the Cardinal B-section meme.
"Any more questions?"
"Ah-
Ms. Capheny glanced at me, sending shivers down my spine, giving me a warning to not do what I mustn't.
"NO MS!"

After packing up our backpacks and books for the day, we walked home together.
"Today is weird, don't y'all think?"-Long wondered. We unanimously agreed.
"The last thing we saw was that crystal thing exploding but after that, isn't it a bit coincidental that we all magically woke up, at the same time, EXACTLY AT 5 HOURS AND 0 SECONDS? IT'S FUCKING WEIRD TO ME BOO." Nghi sarcastically replied but yeah, its just a bit too sus for this to be just an accident.
Lisa added:
"Also that fucking crystal, what crystal flies by its own then blows up? Didn't Vi also mention it's the one in his spell or something?"

"I-i mean, yeah, the spell was supposed to give us power from an iridescent crystal but my body feels the same, i guess nothing really happened after all."
Being questioned directly, I got nervous. To be honest, the spell was a total waste of time and money, I've saved up for 4 fucking months, like wtf, 300$, gone just like that? UGH I should've spent it on pulling for Ayama instead.

As I kept on mumbling to myself, I unknowing walked ahead the others, into the on coming traffic.

Soon, at a moment, all i could think was
'For god's sake, its the second time today'
