Snow flew across the wind blinding those who dared step foot in it, the blizzard was only just reaching its peak. I walked through it, the blizzard didn't bother me at all. The wind seemed to speak in its own ways, something was off this time. Hundreds of years ago I had freed man kind of its worries, they respected me deeply for it. I was nearing a town surrounded by forests, I had sworn to protect human kind from those whom searched to enslave them. I saw the lights even through the blizzard, but something was completely different. I noticed cars crashed into each other and it was dead quiet, I could sense an evil but couldn't see it. A flash of light caught my attention, with great horror I noticed that the creature before me had the same blood red eyes nightmare had. Only now did I remembered that nightmare created special monsters, and only now did they bare their teeth. It didn't notice me just yet, when it did it ran. This creature looked like a twisted version of foxy, it sent chills down my back. I quickly followed it but it had vanished into the storm, suddenly claws and a hook raked down my back. I spun around blood dripping down where it scored wounds, it gave a blood curdling roar. I dodged as it lunged again, I spun and scored my claws across its face. It roared again and ran, this time it ran away into the forest. I could feel my wounds beginning to sting with the touch of the snow, I went and hid under some cover. I focused my power on my wounds, sadly it got me pretty good. I could just tell my wounds were pretty deep just by how much pain I was in, the twisted foxy had been rather scarred up. I assumed it was from attacking the town, I could still sense life within the town as the blizzard cleared up. People began to leave their houses, a few noticed me but recognised me and went on to help clear up the debris from the attack. After I fixed my wounds enough that they stopped bleeding I stood, they looked at me with thankful eyes and I left to track down the twisted foxy. It had been smart to leave while snow still fell but was stupid in leaving a trail of broken trees, soon enough I found it moving through the forest. Fear began to choke me as it joined up with other twisted animatronics, there was a twisted Freddy, twisted golden Freddy, twisted chica, a twisted wolf and the twisted foxy. They all began to move off in one direction so I followed making sure I wasn't seen, finally they stopped beside an abandoned farm house. They went inside a large building and I looked through a small hole in the wall, I immediately noticed Nightmares destroyed parts. He looked twisted and evil even though there was no life in him, the twisted animatronics glanced at his parts but they didn't touch them instead a voice sounded.
"Have you each brought me enough souls to repair him?" Came an old voice, immediately it sent horror through my body. It was Nightmares most loyal friend, nightmare granted immortality to one of the humans that worshipped him. Turns out all these years he has been collecting souls to bring Nightmare back, the twisted animatronics nodded and opened their chests. Nightmares body convulsed before the blood red eyes glowed with life, Nightmare sat up but his eyes locked with mine. The man pointed and the twisted animatronics broke out of the door, they spotted me and I fled. I couldn't face them all alone, I teleported away to safety. Now Nightmare was back the world was in danger once more, its hundreds of years filled with peace shattered. I stood in a cave and leaned against a wall to steady myself, light suddenly filled the cave and I turned to find my children their faces filled with confidence.
"We shall help mother, we just need bodies," Fredrick said, I used a lot of power to create them stronger bodies. They went into their new forms and began to move about, it took them a moment to get used to the power.
"My children nightmare is back and he will be smarter and more powerful then before, he won't stop until his body is destroyed and hidden from the world, his human slave is immortal so I will deal with him, we must protect the humans, I don't know how but we must act before it's too late," I explained, they nodded. Freddy's eyes were filled with faith, he had faith in me to win this coming war.
"Marionette the twisted ones grow near," came shadow Freddy's voice, I nodded and we moved away from the cave. We needed to warn the towns and cities of this threat, I grew too used to Nightmares tricks.
"Run run as fast as you can I will catch up no matter when," came Nightmares voice, it had been years since I heard his voice. The others had heard it too, we kept moving but grew even edgier. It didn't take long to get to the nearest city, when a few people saw us they knew something was wrong for me to be back.
"You must hide and lock all doors allow no one out until I say, twisted ones will hunt until the world spills blood and reeks revenge, nightmare is back," I explained, the people went and word spread fast. By the time the twisted ones reached the city everyone was locked inside and hiding, I could just imagine Nightmares anger. Word had spread from town to town and city to city by the time the moon rose, everyone had stocked up and hidden away. Nightmare sure wasn't happy about me being an issue, I stood watching him and the twisted ones search for us. Since our power wasn't connected he couldn't find me easily, it felt strange to have all my power but have nightmare still walking.
"At least the humans spread news quickly, all we can do now is wait to see what Nightmare does next," I muttered half to myself, the others nodded knowing all we could do is wait.
Yay book 4, I honestly need a hobby other then art and writing but eh. Updates won't be as often as this anymore since I go for a job interview on Monday, if I manage to get the job updates will be slow and quite a while in between.
