Lycans can control their shifting, but shifting multiple times can exhaust them. They don't shift like lycanthropy, they go full wolf. They first start shifting when they are about 2 years old, but it isn't a full body shift, it's usually just their hands and feet. When a lycan is born, it's born in human form, but their ears and tail will only be a quarter of their actual size. They can't control their shifting when they first start and will most likely shift from random parts to a full body shift at random times. They can be from 4-10 when they begin controlling the shift. When a lycan is sick or under the influence of an ingested substance then it can affect their shifting and cause them to have mutated or malformities when shifting. If a lycan is wounded in one form the wound will carry over to their other form if they shift.
