I am a failure

And I refuse to believe that

Sometimes, all you need is a little inspiration to keep rolling.

I realise that this maybe a shock, but

Nothing is impossible.

Is a lie.

Once a loser always a loser,

In thirty years I shall tell my children that I have my priorities straight because

Pride

Is more important than

Forgiveness

I tell you this:

Once upon a time

Your attitude determines your direction.

But this will not be true in my era,

Ego is the cornerstone for success.

Experts tell me,

That one must think only of oneself.

I do not conclude that,

Happiness is not a destination; it is a way of life.

In the future,

Life is a series of disappointments.

No longer can it be said that

If you can dream it, you can do it.

It will be evident that,

No one cares, they are just pretending.

It is foolish to presume that,

Your mistakes do not define you.

And all of this will come true unless we reverse it.

This is a reverse poem and I used a cheat sheet to make it easy to write. There are templates available on the net which set the frame and you have to fill in the blanks (I have done the same in italics so that it is easy to identify) I still hope I have done a good job.

The topic of a reverse poem is usually something that has two opposite viewpoints or sides to it, much like the ambigram I have used - negative /positive.
