"I hope you rested well." Luke said as Amphitrite returned to him. She yawned as she stretched her arms. "More or less." She replied with a small smile. "Good to hear." He said. "Take a seat." He said as he gestured to the floor. Amphitrite nodded as she sat down on the ground, crossing her legs over themselves. Luke stood behind her, he didn't bother sitting with her but instead he began to instruct her. "Not much is known about your kind." He began. "But some is known, or well, enough is known." He added as he paced around to stand in front of Amphitrite. "Your power comes from your breath." He said as he gestured to his chest. "The more steady your breathing the better your abilities will be. It will give you a firm foundation for your powers." Amphitrite looked up at him and took in a deep breath. "Like that?" Luke chuckled. "There's more to it than just one deep breath. You need to learn to breathe like the ocean. Match the rhythm of your breath to the rhythm of the waves. Your breathing is the basis for your skill. Without it, you could be reckless" Amphitrite's eyes widened slightly at the mention of her powers becoming reckless. Such an idea struck fear in her eyes. "Stay here and practice your breathing. Match it to a steady rhythm of the waves. I will return after the evening lesson with the other padawans." "You're just gonna leave me here? Again?" Amphitrite asked as she continued her breathing. "Well you won't have any need for me. You will be focusing on you breathing for the next hour." "The next hour?!" Amphitrite groaned. "You will be alright. I will be back to check on you once the lesson is over." "Fine." Amphitrite grumbled. She sat there and listened as she heard his footsteps fall away, signaling that she was alone. She decided she might as well do what her told her and began taking deep breaths in and out of her body. She tried to set a steady breathing pattern. One that would match with the rolling sound of the ocean waves. She pictured a shoreline, the one from her dreams. The sound of water falling over stone filled her ears. She could hear the roar of the distant coast and her breathing began to match that sound. With each crash of the waves her chest rose, and with each break between waves she exhaled. She continued in this pattern for what felt like hours, waiting for Luke to return.
