"Ann!" The voice shouted through my front door. "Open up!" I rolled my eyes as I heard her voice. I put down my book, and marched too the door. I undid the deadbolt, and swung open the door to see Amy standing there. I sighed.
"What do you want Amy?" I asked rolling my eyes. She smirked.
"We have a problem." She sighed. "You're not attracting nearly enough boys, men." She paused for dramatic effect. "Ann, you're nearly twenty five. You Should be thinking about getting a life. Getting a man!" She cried. I raised my eyebrows.
"Hey! What's wrong with my life?" I asked crossly, but Amy had already sauntered into the living room. I rolled my eyes and followed her. When I got there, she had lifted a laptop out of her shoulder bag.
"I'm going to sign you up for a dating website." She declared. My eyes widened.
"Uh, No!" I shouted at her, and lunged for the laptop, but Amy batted me away with a pillow she had picked up from the orange couch.
"Uh, yes." She replied. "Please Ann, just try it. I'll buy you a chocolate bar!" She pleaded. She knew I was a sucker for chocolate. I sighed.
"Oh, alright." I agreed. "I'll do it. But that doesn't mean I'll try very hard. And it'll get you out of my house." I added to let her know I wasn't really too enthusiastic. Amy gave a squeal of delight.
"Great!" She shouted. As she pulled Google up on her laptop, she started to whistle, but one look from me, and she stopped immediately. She knew I hated Justin Bieber.
Amy typed in www.hottyhotmen.hot.ca to the browser, and it instantly popped up. The website had pictures of buff men everywhere. Amy clicked a button on the top right hand corner that said "Sign Up." She turned to me.
"Ok, here you go. Sign up." She said. Slightly worried by the images, I turned to her and asked,
"Is there not a different site we could use?" She shook her head.
"Nope!" She said, voice full of excitement. I rolled my eyes and started to type.

I was super nervous. I stared through the window in the Taxi. What will he look like? A couple of days ago, I had received an email from the website. It was a message from a man named Nathan Beverly. He had said he would like to meet at Joe's Steakhouse for dinner. At Amy's prompting, I reluctantly agreed. The cab slowly stopped, and I payed the driver. As I got out of the cab, I looked at all of the people standing around. Which one was Nathan? Finally, a man wearing a black suit and black sunglasses stepped forward.
"Are you Ann Brown?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yes, I-" He cut me off as he grabbed my arm.
"We need to go inside. I have a mission after this, so time is tight." He whispered. I raised my eyebrows. He pulled me inside the building, and stopped by the waitress at the front desk.
"Table for two please." He ordered. "Now." The waitress gave him a funny look.
"Um... That will be a twenty minute wait sir." She said. "All the tables are reserved..." Nathan's eyes hardened, and he jolted forward, pinning her to the wall.
"Now you listen here." He said, in a voice much like Batman's. "You will give me a table, or suffer sudden death." I suddenly felt real uneasy. The waitress's eyes widened, and she looked sort of scared. She nodded.
"Yes sir." She said in a shaky voice. "Please follow me." She lead us to a nice table in the back corner of the room.
"So, what can I get you to drink?" She asked with a fake smile. I was about to say something, when Nathan held up his hand.
"No." He said. "Order food first. Then drinks." The look in his eyes dared her to disagree. She swallowed, and then nodded.
"Alright." She complied. "What can I get you to eat?" She asked.
"I want a bacon cheeseburger with no bacon and no cheese." He ordered. The waitress raised her eyebrows.
"So you just want a regular hamburger then?" She asked. Nathan slammed his fist on the table.
"NO!" He shouted at the top of his lungs. "That's not what I asked for. I asked for a bacon cheeseburger with no bacon, and NO CHEESE!" He was shouting by that point, and people were starting to stare. "Geez lady, don't you understand English?" He jumped up and overturned the table. What was wrong with this man? He straitened his tie, and then picked the table back up.
"Now," he said. "Ann can order." I took a deep breath, not wanting to offend him. This man scared me.
"I think I'll have the teriyaki steak with Caesar salad please." I said, giving the woman a sympathetic glance.
"Nope, she'll have garden salad." Nathan said. The waitress quickly nodded, and then scurried off into the kitchen. As soon as she left, Nathan turned to me.
"So, you like animals Ann?" He said. I swallowed.
"Y-yes. I do." I stuttered. Nathan smiled for the first time that night.
"So do I." He rumbled. "I love holding them down and watching them squeal as I stab the knife into their throat. I just love killing things for no apparent reason!" He said maliciously. I found myself nodding to avoid being stabbed myself.
"Oh... That's a nice... Hobby?" I said, it sounding more like a question. He nodded.
"It's tons of fun! I like to think of it as killing a human, except not illegal." He said, and then paused, scratching his chin. "You know, I've only ever killed one human. A lot of blood and mess it was. And then I had to find a good place to hide the body. It was too much work." He concluded. My mouth dried. I was about to excuse myself to the bathroom to call Amy, when the waitress came with our food.
"Here you are sir." She said, placing the cheeseburger on the table. Nathan narrowed his eyes.
"Let's see if it's any good." He said. He lifted up the bun, and roared with anger. "This doesn't have any bacon or cheese on it!" He cried. Then he turned to the waitress. "I told you that I wanted a bacon cheeseburger, and you give me a NO bacon, NO cheeseburger!" Nathan pulled out his knife, and stabbed the cheeseburger. The waitress took a deep breath.
"I can go make you another one sir, and it's on the house." She said. Nathan grumbled.
"It better be." He said. As the waitress left, I looked at the bathroom, but Nathan was standing in such a way that he blocked the path. I slowly sat down. I went to take a bite of my steak. Suddenly, I was barrelled over. I turned around to see Nathan pull out a gun, and start shooting my steak.
Bang bang bang!
"What are you doing?" I shouted, but Nathan wouldn't listen. Once he got that shooter shooting, He just kept shooting that steak. I turned heel and decided to leave the restaurant, when I heard the shaky voice of the waitress.
"Here you go sir."
"Hey! I ordered this WITHOUT bacon and cheese!"
