Summary: The anime, is about a teenage boy named Naruto growing up in a village alongside ninjas in training. 12 years before the story takes place, a great nine-tailed beast attacked Naruto's village, harming many of its people. Their fourth leader, also known as the Hokage, sacrificed his life to seal the nine-tails into a newborn child. That child was Naruto. He grew up as an orphan, having lost his parents during the attack, and was bullied by other village families for they feared the beast inside of him. Growing up lonely and despised, Naruto vowed that one day he would prove that he could become the greatest ninja in the village. "I'm going to be Hokage one day!" The many episodes show Naruto as he grows over time and tries to achieve his goal.

Pros:
-The characters are well-developed and each have a personality and backstory of their own
-Each character has a goal that is made clear, giving everyone I point to the story
-The art is well-done with backgrounds, details, colors and shading included in every frame
-The soundtrack is great
-Each song is played at the right time and gives a mood to the scene
-The creators did a good job of making the watchers feel the emotions of the characters
-The English dub is just as good as the original (in my opinion)

Cons:
-The series is very long
-There are many characters with such real emotions and detailed personalities that it can get confusing if you aren't paying full attention
-Actually, everything can get confusing if you don't pay enough attention
-There are a lot of flashbacks and it gets annoying during the fight scenes.

My Opinion: I really love this anime and there is no convincing me out of it. The characters are amazing. The story line is amazing. The whole concept is amazing. I have just fallen in love with this show. It did take me a long time to finish, I haven't even finished Shippuden yet, but it was totally worth it. I recommend this anime to all watchers, just make sure you have an empty schedule for the next... week? Month? Year? Lol

Tips: Don't ship Naruto with Sakura. Just don't.
