A very Bubbly Place indeed. But do not be fooled by the outside appearance, for everything is not what it seems.

Many years ago, the fight between Humans and Monsters Raged on. Many lives were lost, human and Monster. But years prior, a mage, sick of the torment the Humans and Monsters were putting one another through, had then set a spell. It had made both Monsters and humans into Liquidized forms of their former selves, effected by their taste and value as a human or Monster. They fell into three main categories (though there are exceptions) Soda Pop, Cider, and Juice. And instead of dust and Corroding bodies, water began to fill the world, bringing beauty and many luxurious fruits and prosperity... on the Monster's end. When a human was brought to his knees, the soil would be tainted with a red thick syrup like wine or water, depending on how much they had killed or suffered, that stained and tainted the earth. The Mage, yet again troubled by the ongoing war, instead acted upon a curse. They cursed the Monsters in the Expansive catacombs that reached throughout a massive part of the planet, which would become the Underground, home to all Monsters instead of the mighty few. But above things progressed in a lesser way than to what the Underground had become.

Just before the war, a young child, that of Red Wine, corrupted by suffering fell into the underground. On purpose or not was of uncertainty. They hit the flowerbeds and met the Prince of the Monsters, Kiwi Water Asriel. There they were raised along side the Prince by the King and Queen, and shown kindness, nearly ridding of the corruption of the wine. But as fast as the child came, they were gone. Before that happened, the Prince was able to combine their souls and cross the forbidden and cursed barrier, to fulfill the final wish of his fallen friend. But when the Prince returned, he fell onto the flowerbeds, and soon disappeared as well. The King and Queen were filled with Grief, and the Underground began to loose hope.

The King then decided to use the humans like how they had used Monsters. Humans killed Monsters to use their remains to bring fruit and food to never be given back, and disrespected that of the fallen ones who could never come back. They would use the human souls they collect to break the curse, and free themselves. The Queen, disapproving of this, distanced herself from the King, and resided herself into the Ruins, not to be seen for many, many years.

But, one day, the final Human fell from the surface. A pure Sparkling Water Human, not tainted by the wine's power. Here, the human's adventure to either Save or Destroy, is up to you.

Characters:

Throughout PopTale, you meet many Monsters. But here are the friends, or foes, you meet along your Way.

Sparkling Water Frisk:
It's you!

Red Wine Chara:
The First Fallen Human. Corrupt and Dangerous. She will take over you if you fall down the path of Genocide, and take your soul.

Lemonade Flowey:
A Dangerous and literal soulless flower, he has no problem with killing you with his Lemon Seed attacks. When you first meet him, his grotto is full of Lemon Trees.

Apple Cider Toriel:
The Queen of the Underground. An intimidating force indeed. But don't let that fool you. Behind the title and glasses, she is still a mother grieving the loss of many children.

Blueberry Pop Sans:
This lazy Soul is a bubbly face indeed. With 1HP he is quite laid back. He is a protective Brother and a jokester, but if you read between the lines he is not a force to go head-to-head with. And he's smarter than he looks, so watch your step kid.

Peach Pop Papyrus:
A self Proclaimed Master of all Puzzles, this Peachy fellow is quick on the draw. A loudmouth but childish, he is quite ambitious. Wanting to be in the Royal Pop Guard, a Underground Group sworn to protect Monsters, he works Day in and out to reach his goal.

Blackberry Pop Undyne:
Leader of the Royal Pop Guard, this Girl is not a force to reckon with. A hard-headed woman with high ambitions and Determination, she believed anything can happen with hope and overall brute force.

Pineapple Pop Alphys:
The Royal Scientist has a lot of secrets. A Nervous wreck with Social Anxieties, this Monster is not a fighter and worries about everything. An over-analyzer as well she has a thick shell. Maybe you can get her out of it?

Grape Pop Mettaton:
A Star in the Underground this Sassy robot was made by the Royal Scientist. A drama Queen can always be channeled from this guy and you won't be able to replace this one of a kind beauty. Knock em' dead Darling!

Pumpkin Cider Asgore:
The King of the underground was once intimidating and rage-fueled. But as years passed he bubbled down and regrets what he has done. Reluctantly he will fight for his people. Underneath it all he is a remorseful soul, and just wishes to have how it once was. He is still a Father caught in the mourning loop.

Kiwi Water Asriel:
Prince of the Underground and a lost soul, he's a shy and sensitive boy, who just wants company and a friend. Pure at heart he wants to go back to his parents and fix them again. You can save him, but will you take him home to the surface and to his parents?

Soul Colorations:
When Fighting, your soul will change colors with Special abilities.

Blue:
Bubble Mode - You Can Float, but Gravity brings even Bubbles down.

Green:
Flat Mode - You can't move, only block. Not until you become Fresh again.

Purple:
Iced Mode - You're a Frozen Drink! You can hop and slide around only so far.

Yellow:
Boiling Mode - You're Boiling now! Use your Bubbles to hit your opponent at the right time.

Power Ups:

Monsters (rarely humans) can get power ups through consuming the drink that Corresponds them. For example, if Toriel were to have Apple Cider, she would get an immense Power Up. She would become much stronger and be more the fearsome. A human can only get a power up if they have pure intent.

Extra Powers:

Monsters and humans now has the ability to turn into Liquid and run. Only for a short time however, about a Minute and a half. So they Must move fast. Monsters can also summon ingredients to make their drink. Some monsters, rarely, can summon it complete and consumable Straight away, like Sans for example. However, some monsters do not have this luxury, such as Flowey whom has no soul.

How to Truly Save Asriel:

Go through TRUE PACIFIST, but Before Heading up to the Surface, you will need to retract your steps, and collect Items to mix together.

1.) In the Palace, in Asgore's Home, you will need to grab two tools. A Knife, and a Spoon.

2.) In the Hotlands, you will need to get a cup from the Cooler, but do NOT fill it with that water. But take a lid for the Cup.

3.) In the Waterfalls, put water in the Cup from the waterfall, after asking to collect water aloud for their Prince. The waterfall is a collection of the Fallen Monsters, who did all they could to protect the King and Queen's name and fought for the Prince's honor. You will hear a soft bell after you collect it, and the water will glow. The fallen Monsters give you their Blessing. Put the Lid on the Cup and keep going.

4.) In Undyne's home, you will find a Lime in her Refrigerator. Take it with you.

5.) In Snowdin, head to the Library and grab a book on the Ancient Spells

6.) In Toriel's home, you will need to Find a cup of Sugar and a Kiwi. Take them with you.

7.) In Asriel's Grotto, where you find him, take a Lemon from one of the trees and walk to him

8.) Cut all of the fruits in half and squeeze all the juice you can into the cup. Once done add the sugar and mix with the spoon.

9.) Hand the Cup to Asriel and persuade him to drink it. After he does so he will say he feels "Fuzzy" and his white soul will appear.

10.) Quickly open the book of Spells and you will find a spell that will bind your souls. Say it and part of both of your souls will switch, allowing Asriel stability in his form.
