Law lifts his head sleepily, eyes unfocused. He pauses, seeing a figure sitting nearby, but when he looks over there's no one. You curl up into him more, making him peer at you. He smiles a bit, knuckles brushing over your cheek. He peers over as the door of the greenhouse clicks open. "Its time to go." He shakes you gently, waking you. With a yawn you get up, stretching, rubbing your cheek sleepily and letting Law help you to your feet.

Suddenly you both freeze as the sound of footsteps draw closer. Law pulls you into his side, holding his hand out. "Room." He breathes and suddenlyyou're both at the staircase, backs to the greenhouse. You stop, blinking in surprise before realization hits you and you look at Law. He smirks a bit, feeling your gaze but avoiding it as he starts down the stairs.

"... You're such a shit...." You tell him, following him away from the greenhouse.

"You said 'okay lets sleep here,' I was only doing what you wanted." He chuckles lightly, not looking back with a shrug.

'Told you, Law's pretty damn sneaky.' Zoro says walking beside you. You shoot him a look but he just smiles. Troublesome guys.

You swallow, taking up Zoro's swords and strapping them on. Your fingers glide over their hilts, and although Zoro was standing beside you, the sense of loss hit you like a hammer. A shaky breath leaves you and your knees buckle. '___?' Zoro frowns worriedly. 'What's wrong?'

Law looks over from his crafting table, coming over and putting a hand over yours as it grips the sword hilt softly. He didn't say anything, kneeling behind you and putting his free arm around you. "... I want to hug him again..." You whisper.

"I know... I wouldn't mind hugging him myself right now... He really liked you, wouldn't shut up about you after the first dungeon, not that I minded it much... I know that he would like you using his swords to protect yourself." He breathes gently. You swallow, feeling a smile return to your lips as tears prick your eyes.

"I know... Thanks Law." You touch his hand around your waist, relaxing before looking up at Zoro. He had a pained expression and his breezy, cool hand touches your cheek.

'Come on, you got bigger things to worry about. Stand up ___, and keep going, I'll be with you all the way.' He murmurs. You nod and get up, pulling Law up as well.

"Ready?" You look at him.

"Yep." He grabs his medic satchel.

'Oh right, give him kikoku.' Zoro points to a sword that in the corner. 'He always liked it, and he's used it in a few dungeons.'

"Oh.." You hum, picking up the sword before offering it to Law, catching him off guard. "You take this one." You smile. "He would want you to take it."

He gingerly takes it, and you notice a slight tremble as he holds it. He swallows before smiling bitterly. "I do love this sword... I'll take care of it for him." He nods.

"Lets go then." You breathe, leading him out. You knew where the basement door was, but beyomd that point was a mystery to you. Touching the map you frown. Maybe you should let Sabo know you were going to a dungeon. But he may insist on coming along. As you debated, someone calls out to you.

"___! Law! We've been looking for you!" Luffy chimes, running up and hugging you.

"___!" Sabo swiftly comes over, cupping your cheek. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, sorry, we got locked in the greenhouse last night." You smile sheepishly. He relaxes and smiles in return. "Sorry, but we're heading to a dungeon now, see you when I return." You pull away. His relief falls to worry, but he gives a nod.

"Please be careful." He breathes softly. You nod and touch his hand before carrying on with Law.

"Eh? Where you going ___?" Luffy catches up to you.

"To the Archives." You respond. He tilts his head with a frown.

"I'll go too." He decides.

"Stay with your brothers," You poke his nose. "We'll be fine." He pouts briefly before shaking his head stubbornly.

"No." He grabs your wrist firmly, staring into your eyes determined. You blink, shifting before smiling lightly.

"I can't reject you when you guve me a look like that..." You sigh. He smiles, releasing your arm as you continue with them.

"Should we let them go?" Ace murmurs to Sabo. The blond watches after you and smiles softly.

"They'll be back... Besides if we go too, who's going to have enough energy to help her put when she beelines for the next dungeon?" He points out.

"Got me there... She's so stubborn." Ace admires. Sabo blinks and looks at him. "Yeah, I'm going to start competing for her." Ace smirks at him.

"Ha... You're crazy if you think I'll let that happen." Sabo smiles in amusement.

You reach the door that descended to the basement and stop. "Alright, once we enter the basement, there's no going back..." You murmur.

"We're ready." Kid says behind you, making you, Law, and Luffy stiffen in surprise.

"Eh? You too?" You look back at him. He offers a smile.

"Damn right, you're going to need some fire power." He rumbles.

"... You just want to come to test your arm didn't you?" You smirk. He chuckles and steps closer.

"I still owe you." He breathes huskily, reaching past you and pushing the door open. You meet his amber gaze and chuckle.

"What a gentleman." You hum before turning and going down the stairs.

With each step, the air grows tense, you feel a familiar weight come onto your shoulders. You reach the basement floor, finding it dimly lit by torches, at the end of the corridor sits a large wooden door with rusty metal designs over it. But your eyes automatically train on the familiar man at the center of the room. His red hair was dark like blood in this light, and his face was shadowed except for the stern frown on his lips.

"Let me guess, it was Doffy that told you..." Shanks says calmly, but his voice held so much weight that you swallow.

"I would've found this place either way, you know that." You respond, starting forward though the others had stopped.

"You're not seriously planning on taking him on...?" Law breathes. You look back at him and smile.

"I'll do my best to keep him busy, get the door open." You murmur.

"I'll back you up with that then." Kid steps beside you.

"Just dont get in my way." You smirk at him while Luffy and Law move to separate walls.

"This is for your own good, I wont go easy on you." Shanks warns, glaring at your group unhappily.

"I know Shanks, and neither will we." You murmur, unsheathing Zoro's swords and igniting them with magic. Metals start to float around you as Kid gets ready. Shanks grits his teeth and there's a powerful pulse from him. You close your eyes, letting the gravity of the situation sink in before opening them again and bursting at him.

The swords collide in an instant, making the air around you both tremble. You grit your teeth, feeling like you had hit an actual wall. His eyes meet yours and he swings his arm, knocking you back. You skid to a stop, watching him as your mind whirls.

'You're thinking too much.' Your grandfather's voice says next to you. 'You said you wouldn't hold back. So dont.'

You let out a breath, muscles relaxing. "Right." You breathe, feeling the magic swirl up in your veins, a glow coming to your skin. Shanks' eyes widen briefly before narrowing as you charge again. The collidingblades this time shakes the room. You kick up your leg, making an earth column swing out of the ground and slam into him. He skids a few yards away, grip tightening on his sword. You hop onto the earth column as wind starts to swirl around the room.

A fire beam consumes where he stands, but it's soon transformed into a fiery tornado. Your eyes widen as it builds rapidly. Arms come around you from behind and metals surround you like a cocoon.

"Kid..." You breathe.

"That was a bad idea." He breathes as the metals start to glow from the intense heat. "Shit..." You blink and put your hands over his, giving some magic power to him. He relaxes, the metals staying firm. The heat passes and Kid bursts the metal at Shanks but he easily cleaves through it.

"___!" Law calls from the open door. You and Kid swiftly dash for the dungeon at that.

"No!" Shanks calls, sending a shake wave after you. You grab Kid's hand, using earth to catapult you both in over Law's head.

You tumble over the ashen earth, rising up with a cough. Kid stands up, helping you up as Law joins you. "Quick thinking." He praises.

"Where's Luffy?" You ask. He nods ahead and you both look to find Luffy standing at the edge of the cliff you stood on. You blink and go to Luffy's side, looking ove the dead and blackened forests below, at the center of the dead trees sat a massive tower with black vines that stretched for the top.

"It's pretty foggy down there..." Kid mutters.

"Who knows what creatures are moving around in it." Law agrees.

"Well... We're going to find it one way or another." You stomp your foot on the ground making a staircase form along the wall. They nod, starting down. You move to follow but a voice makes you stop.

'___,' Zoro murmurs, making you look back as he touches his chest with a troubled frown. 'I feel weird...' You straighten and frown, offering your hand.

"It'll be okay." You whisper. He meets your gaze and takes your hand. You continue after the others at that. Reaching the fog, you frown, unable to see past your waist. "This feels bad..." You comment.

'Like Dark Magic.' Your grandfather agrees.

"Come on, the tower is this way." Kid says, starting ahead.

"Faster we get out of this fog the better." Law says, following. You and Luffy follow close behind. You peer at the brunette, finding him uncharacteristically down.

"Are you okay?" You ask lightly, touching his shoulder.

"I dont feel good all of a sudden." He murmurs and you frown, pulling him into your side. He lets out a breath, arm going around your shoulders. You look ahead, looking through the dead trees. Nothing was moving about, making you uneasy.

"I was expecting this to be filled with S class beasts." You murmur.

"Yeah, this is weird..." Kid agrees, sounding a bit disappointed. Then shrieks start to sound all around.

"You both spoke too soon." Law mutters. Luffy suddenly whimpers, covering his ears.

"Luffy what's wrong?" You stop, looking at him worriedly.

"Screaming... in my head..." He manages, taking shallow breaths as if he were in pain.

"He cant handle the negative energy, he needs to go back to the cliff." Law says, coming over. Kid stops, looking around.

"Alright, lets take him back..." You freeze, looking at the numerous apparitions suddenly around your group. Law also freezes, looking at them.

"... Anyone know Light magic to dispel spirits by any chance...?" Kid asks.

"You can... See them..." You breathe uneasily. They nod and look at you, eyes training on something past you, widening in awe.

"... Zoro..." Law says softly. You follow his gaze to Zoro who was looking sickly in his ghost form.

"Zoro, what's wrong? What's happening to you?" You ask, reaching for him. He winces, eyes turning red and lashes out with an arm. You go flying back into a tree with a painful thud, air getting knocked from your lungs. You fall to the ground, gasping for air.

"_-___!" Luffy manages as Kid shields you and Law shields him from Zoro.

'___...' Zoro echoes dazed, trying to blink into focus, red fading in and out of his eyes. '___....' He repeats as you get to your feet.

"It's the negative energy from the fog Zoro, you need to go-" You wince as your cheek suddenly burns. You look at the apparition that had swiped at you.

'NO ESCAPE!' </b> It snarls demonically. You feel a chill go down your spine before glaring at it.

"Fuck off." You growl, gripping your amulet, sending magic to it as you unsheath a sword from your hip. You look to Zoro as he relaxes, glowing lightly. He gives a nod, a ghostly sword forming in his grasp.

"___, if you use all your magic now, we'll have a hard time reaching the tower." Law says carefully.

"What is going on right now?" Kid asks in confusion as you focus on an apparition.

"Just get Luffy back up the cliff, we'll keep these spirits busy." You reply.

"___... Zoro..." Luffy manages. You smile at him as Zoro moves to your back.

'Dont worry, I'll protect her.' Zoro rumbles.

"You just threw her into a tree..." Kid frowns.

'The energy here got to me, I just need the right boost.' Zoro responds simply, suddenly slashing at an apparition, making it vanish.

"Now go." You tell them. But before they can turn away, Something yanks Luffy down into the fog.

"Luffy!" Everyone gasps in horror, swiftly reaching for where he vanished.

"He's not here!" Law hisses. You look around in alarm, seeing a ripple in the fog.

"That way!" You gasp running after it.

'___!' Zoro gasps before you're pulled back by an invisible force as a black shrouded creature lifts out of the fog.

"A wraith..." You identify.

"Four of them, and five poltergeists..." Kid looks over his shoulder.

"This... Really isn't looking good." Law murmurs. You grit your teeth, looking over the fog.

"We'll cut through them and find Luffy. If you're still uneasy then we'll turn back afterwards." You brandish your blade glaring at the wraith. "You wont stop me here. I'm bringing him back to his brothers."
