(sad chapter part 2 🤭👆)

Sunoo weirdly ended up canceling on me saying his mom said he needed to work on his studies but I really missed Sunoo so I begged him to come to my house instead and say we're having a study hall together and I'll actually study. He asked his mom and she said fine so now I'm waiting for Sunoo at the park in front of his house to walk him to mine.

"Niki! Over here." Sunoo yelled as I turned around a see my sunshine covered by clouds. He looked, so gloomy. "Hey sun, let's head over now?" I asked, I thought i'd question him about his mood later.

"Isn't that like a long walk? Why not hit take the bus?" Sunoo asked as he began rubbing his arms. I was kind of cold.

"I mean we could but I didn't bring my wallet and I don't have a card yet." I gushed as I awkwardly laughed, I really need to get a card.

"good thing I brought mine i guess?" He giggled, "I'll just pay for you and you can make it up for when we end up going to the movies you're paying for me!" He snickered as he grabbed my hand and dragged me to the bus stop.

"That was the plan sun." I whispered under my breath and I could only see the back of him but from the way his ears randomly went red, he definitely heard me.

"Then you carry over the 87 and boom your answer 28,763!" Sunoo sighed as he threw his pencil down. "Finally caught up on all my classes!"

"You're crazy. That equation made no sense!" I sighed in defeat trying to understand it. "Would you like me to explain it?" He asked as he put his head down from exhaustion. "No no no! It's alright I perfectly understand now!" I said sheepishly, "but now is no time for resting WE MUST HANG OUT. I even bought you some ramen!" I giggled.

"uhm, thank you but I'll have to pass on that ramen although it sounds rather good." Now I was confused, why is he passing up ramen?! "What about something smaller? Like pop tarts! Or even just a small bowl of popcorn? Ooo we could also just eat that big bag of Doritos I bought!" I squealed thinking about all the food we could eat together. "Niki.. everything you just offered the calories got higher. I'm not hungry right now so it's okay." He mumbled as he put his head down again.

"But sun.. you said you only had a sandwich today, you have to eat something other than that! It's not enough for the day!" I said worrisome, whys he suddenly not wanting to eat? "N-Niki. It's alright trust m-me." Sunoo stuttered, his words came out choppy. "Sun..? what's wrong why are you shaking so much?!" I panicked as I see he backs away from the table and leans on my bed, he balls himself up but it's clear from his shaking hands that something is off.

"Niki, j-just- nothing!" He randomly blurted out as he lifted his head and tried to put a smile on but it's was evident that it wasn't true. "Sunoo. I'm here, you can talk to me.." I said i'm a softer tone as I slowly approach him. He hasn't stopped shaking yet but his eyes are red. He's holding back tears, "What happened darling..?"

It slipped, I didn't purposely call him darling! He just seems like the person who needs to be called those names to be comforted!

I snap out of my thoughts when I notice sunoo just break down in tears, "SUNOO?! Baby what's wrong why are you crying..?" I panicked at first but noted that I had to stay calm to keep him calm. "I- hiccup no, can't hiccup b-breathe." He managed to get out and then that's when it hit me.

he's having a panic attack..

He's been hyperventilating this entire time! I was busy asking so many questions that it hadn't gotten the chance to hit me dead smack in my face.

I quickly grabbed both of Sunoos hands, I held one and then put the other on my heart, "just follow my breathing alright? Everything's going to be alright' I'm right here with you baby.." I softly spoke as I can notice he's trying his hardest to get his breathing back to normal. "You're doing great darling, just keep going you got this.." He was obviously trying his hardest. He was getting somewhere slowly but surely. He just couldn't stop crying. I slowly let go of his head to wipe his tears. "Shh, it's okay I'm hear for you trust me."

He finally got ahold of his breathing back but kept crying so his voice was still choppy and raspy, "I-I don't think you remember but hiccup w-when we were texting each other and you asked what I got from my father and I hushed you.." I simply nodded as I signaled him to continue while I traced hearts on his hand. "I don't want to get into details but me and my mom don't have the best relationship with him.. and let's just say he called yesterday and things were said.." Sunoo finished, although he was very brief I could get what he was trying to say.

I quickly pulled him into a hug, "darling don't listen to him! trust me everything okay! Just try your hardest to block him out alright?!" I tried to calm Sunoo down again but just started crying even harder and lost control of his breathing. I had to think fast and we were right next to my bed so I picked him up which he was too light for his age, and placed him on the bed. I crawled on the bed as well and then pulled him onto my chest which my legs open so his body could lay there. "There is no use in trying to hold in the tears, so darling while you have the chance cry you're heart out, because no matter what I'll never believe anything your father says and I'm always and will forever be here for you, little book worm."

Sunoo giggled a little but he started slowing his breathing down, although his cries didn't seem like they were going to stop anything soon. "I-I'm sorry t-to put this a-all on you r-right now.." Sunoo hardly managed to get out. "shh, don't apologize you don't need to, just let it all out." I soothe him as I softly stroked his back.

So far it's been 10 minutes started crying, he's still sniffling and has way fewer tears coming out his beautiful eyes so I just keep rubbing him softly and close my eyes for little.

"niki, nikii, you gotta wake up! We're gonna be late!! I knew I shouldn't have came I was too
vulnerable with my emotions' now he's dead asleep from taking care of me, NIKI WAKE UPPPP!"

I shoot out of bed when I turn my head I'm welcomed by a sunoo wearing my clothes breathing heavily, "finally, niki hurry up and get ready WE'RE LATE!" Sunoo panicked as he ran out of the bed room. I look over at my clock and see the time reads to..

9:56

SCHOOL STARTED 2 HOURS AGO OH MY FUCKING GOD!

After I quickly get ready it's now 10:27 WHY AM I SO SLOW?! Sunoo probably left already!

Boy was I wrong.. Sunoo is standing in the kitchen tapping his foot rather aggressively holding a one pop tart in his mouth and one in his hand. After he noticed me he sighed heavily and shoved the pop tart he was holding in my house and quickly grabbed my hand and ran us both to the bus stop.

"Sunoo.. my wallet.. and you're clothes! YOU'RE WEARING MINE?!? YOU'RE SCHOOL BAG IS AT YOUR HOUSE SUNOO WHAT THE FU-" He placed his hand over my mother quickly. "Oh hush! We
both over slept and I wasn't going to my house because that would've wasted more time! Remember how you'd yell at me for writing my notes twice and shit? Yeah that was for situations like this if I forgot my bag.. and I have a spare outfit in my locker anyway, if it bothers you I'll change.." He sighed as he noticed the bus was coming

(city bus takes them to school)

"You don't have to, I was just confused.." I sheepishly said as I rubbed the back of my neck. "Alrighty then, also to make up for missing our movie yesterday we can watch it today after school, the minion one!" He pointed out ty her excited about it. "You've got yourself a deal!" I laughed as we got onto the bus and Sunoo payed for me yet once again.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed last chapter but I accidentally put 2021 instead of 2022 so that's my fault 🤦‍♀️ but I hope you enjoy this chapter! I may not write about they're movie "date 😏" depends if I'm feelings lazy or
not. I skimmed over this so it's not deeply proofread for excuse grammar mistakes! that's all thank youu 🙏
