Brave (POV)

Uncle greeted us as we both made our way through. " Uncle? You needed us?" My brother asked, " Yes. And you both won't like it." "Is it bad news?" I asked, wanting to know what's going on. " yes, abou-" before he could finished time and space itself stopped... Me and my big brother looked around us... Everything was not moving, I looked at my big brother for an answer only to get " Little brother, the human arrived..." He looked conflicted with emotions but he looked... scared. I've never seen that feature on his face as far as I know. I held on to my brothers hand, as everything went black.

I suddenly opened my eyes to see... I'm in my room. It's not that big but a medium sized room fit enough to fit me and big brother. I glanced to my left to see that big brother was reading a book. I couldn't make out the words," Big brother?" I didn't know I was exhausted? "Sshh... It's ok. Go back to sleep. It's near noon but, I'll tell uncle your sleeping in ok?" "K" I yawned and curled up against my brother. He held me close. He held me very close. "I promise. If that human lays a single finger on you... I promise I'll make them have a bad time." I slowly closed my eyes and let the darkness take a hold of me until...
