You were moving a lot faster now checking the map again to make sure you were on the right road. You smile and look ahead determined. A dark brown shape appears ahead and before you can move it crashes into you and you both start tumbling. "I finally found you!" The guy sits up with a grin.
"A werewolf? Did Law send you?" You blink up at him.
"Nope! Smoker left you behind, so I went to your town to find you but you weren't there, and I lost your scent in the rain and just now found it and you're here!" He answers helping you up cheerfully. "You smell like you've gotten a lot stronger since you left home!"
Wow, he traveled all the way there and then some how got in front of you. Either he's fast or he was running for a while. "You must be exhausted, you want some food?" You hand him your backpack.
"Wow! Youre really nice! No wonder Smoker likes you so much!" He chimes. Your pace picks up at that.
"He better. Im going to confess to him today! I can feel it." You breathe. "Who are you anyway?"
"Im Luffy! Smokey and I used to fight over territory but he stopped suddenly a few years ago... That's probably when he met you! Here! We can catch up to him faster if you ride me!" He gobbles down a piece of meat, giving you your backpack before changing into a wolf. You pull your backpack on and smirk.
"Finally." You breathe getting on the werewolfs back. He bursts forward so fast you flip backwards and land on your face. "Ow..." You mutter getting back up as the werewolf returns. "Hold on, I have an idea." You rub your nose taking out Doflamingo's belt and getting on his back again, strapping yourself to the wolf. "Okay now."
With that he bursts off again. The wind against your face made you smile as you watch everything zoom by. And then, you could sense something ahead. "Kid..." You frown getting the crossbow ready as Luffy turns to cut through the forest, everything becoming rocky. He bursts out of the trees and you spot the vampire as he knocks Smoker into a tree.
The stake meets his cheek and he howls, swiftly looking over as you and Luffy near. You undo the belt and get off of Luffy, crossbow already ready to fire again. "Get the fuck away from my vampire Kid." You snarl.
"___." Smoker coughs in surprise as you put yourself between them.
"Damn, I was hoping to kill him before you found him." He sighs taking out the stake of his cheek and crushing it.
"Why are you here ___? I told Mihawk to take you home! Why are you-"
"BECAUSE IM IN LOVE WITH YOU! AND IM GOING TO CONFESS TO YOU BEFORE IT KILLS ME! NOW STAY PUT DAMMIT!" You snap, firing at Kid. The stake meets Kid's shoulder but before he could pull it out you lunge at him, unsheathing your dagger and swiping for his stomach. Kid catches your wrist.
"Ah I love your recklessness, did you really think you could take me on alone?" He growls smiling.
"I haven't been alone the moment I started this journey. Idiot." You smirk. He pauses and Luffy crashes into his side, biting down on his arm a tossing him away. Kid lands sliding back looking annoyed now.
"Killer!" He orders and you sense death at your back, swiftly turning and stopping the scythe blade with your dagger.
"I felt you there at my back." You smirk, knocking the scythe away from Luffy as he and Smoker lunge at Kid together.
"You really challenging a reaper sweetheart? Either youre bold or naïve." His blank eyes narrow in amusement. A pink ball of light suddenly knocks the reaper back.
"Fufufu, told you she's stronger than you thought." A familiar voice makes you look back and grin seeing Doflamingo.
"Doffy." You breathe as he throws another pink ball of magic at Kid knocking the vampire back again after Smokers and Luffys assault.
"Ill take care of these two," He assures you as light strings connect to Kid and Killer before Doflamingo vanishes with them. You relax and look at Smoker as he does the same. Meeting your gaze, he shifts unsure until Luffy pushes him into you before swiftly running out of sight.
"So I came all this way to tell you something." You smile.
"Youre in love with me." He nods and you pause in surprise. "You kinda shouted that when you snapped at me earlier and then attacked Kid..." He reminds you.
"Dammit that's not what I was going for at all." You put a hand over your face making him chuckle.
"You've been thinking about it all this time huh?" He guesses smiling softly.
"Of course. Youre all I think about... I love you... So much I didn't care what I had to go through to find you so I can look you in the eye and tell you how much you mean to me." You meet his gaze seriously. "And if I have to I'll face this every creature in this other world just so... Just so I can stay with you."
"I love you too." Smoker smiles and kisses you. "And Ill stay with you. I wont let you face this darkness alone. Youre the most amazing person I've ever met. Ill protect you with my life... I love you."
"Damn... I was honestly hoping he'd reject you." Doffy sighs making you both look over to find him pouting.
"You already took care of them Doffy?" You ask.
"Yes, they cant bother you anymore." He tilts his head to the black and red flames that danced behind him.
"A Warlock Vampire... How'd you get involved with him?" Smoker raises an eyebrow at you.
"He was human when we met but... I failed to protect him..." You look down.
"Don't make that face, I should thank you. Im very happy with this... And Smoker. Take care of her, if you ever make her cry I'll add you to my collection." Doflamingo smiles calmly.
"Don't worry. Ill only try to make her smile." Smoker rumbles thoughtfully.
"Farewell ___, you can always give me a call if you change your mind." Doflamingo chuckles before disappearing.
"So, what now?" Smoker kisses your cheek.
"I... Didn't think that far ahead... But I'm with you so anything is fine."
