The small group of friends were huddled in the passage as there attacker stalked outside. Barley a few feet away from finding them. Michel was chewing on the ends of his shoulder length blonde hair. This attack was reminding him of how the group of friends first met in Brock-worth Elementary.

   {Flash Back}

    He was only nine then. Nine and was the biggest jerk ever. Tormenting Skyler whenever he got the chance, stealing Jacob's phone and pinning anyone nearby. Yes, he was a jerk. Michel still was, that's why he wasn't there on the day Nattily came to class (busy getting scolding by the math teacher). Anyways, it happened one day when he was picking on Rodney. Calling him a baby because he couldn't deal with a fire drill, that's when Rosie had stepped in.

  "Stop tormenting him!" she had shouted.

   He laughed pulling on her dark brown hair. Her big blue eyes shining with tears as her scream filled the play ground. Then he saw her, little venerable Ruby, sitting all alone reading her book. Michel lost interest in picking on the two of them and walked to her. But, not before shoving Rosie to the ground next to Rodney. He walked towards her, like a beast stalking his prey. He walked slowly until he was right behind her.

    "Hey, nerd." he said in a mean, gruff voice. 

 He snatched the book from her hands and started running. Ruby jumped up and ran after him, though she was so much slower than he was. Michel came up to a oak tree and climbed it, then it happened. After he'd climbed a good way up the tree the branch underneath him gave away!Thrashing and tumbling through the air his leg got caught in the crack of two branches. 

  "Help!" He cried out "Help me!"

Rodney, Skyler Ruby, and Rosie all ran up to see what all the commotion was about.

  "Well, well, well, if it isn't Mr. Trouble Maker." Ruby cooed.

    "Get me down!" he called to them, hot tears streaming from his face.

  "Why on earth should we?" Rodney asked.

     Skyler nodded in agreement "Let's leave him there. He's bound to fall anyways."

Rosie looked at him then looked at the tree. Cautiously, she made her way up to Michel. Freeing him from his oaken prison.

   "What'd you do that for?" Skyler asked.

Rosie shrugged and looked at Ruby.

   "Where's Rodney?" she asked.

"Where else? Flirting with more girls."

They were just about to walk off when Michel had said,

  "Thank you, you know for getting me down and all." he said scratching the back off his head, "Is there anything I could do to repay you?"

   "You can give back Ruby's book and apologize to Rodney." she said with a shrug.

 He did as he was told and walked on with them. Slowly making them his friends and walking away with one big crush on Rosie.

{End of flash back}

  "I only regret that I gave her a necklace, and not a ring." he thought to himself a footsteps grew louder then stopped right outside the door.
