Everybody fell asleep on Skyler's apartment floor. Jacob and Michel sprawled out on the floor while Rosie and Skyler got the couch. Ruby though, didn't sleep that much at all. She nodded off a few time on the recliner, but spent most of the night studying and catching up on 'Edd's World'.

"So weird, Nattily shows up and the school gets broken into." she thought.

At that moment Nattily walked into the room.

"They all look like they're drunk." she stated in the same raspy, windy voice.

"Yeah, it's called a sugar buzz." she replied.

She looked at her friends, "It was pretty chaotic after you went to bed." She added.

Nattily nodded. "I heard most of it."

Ruby let out a little laugh. Then gestured for her to sit down. Nattily walked around Jacob and Michel, who were now snoring quite loudly, and sat down next to her.

"I like your dress by the way." Ruby said.

Nattily traced the fabric with her finger, "It was my mom's before she died."

"Sorry, I didn't know. . ." Ruby whispered.

Nattily flashed a smile. It was bright and beautiful. Like spring after a harsh winter.

"It's alright." she said as the smile faded away.

{Time Skip}

School was boring to Skyler. Until now.

"May I get a drink?" Rosie asked.

The teacher nodded. Five minutes later she still didn't come back.

"Ellie? Will you please go get Rosie?" the teacher asked.

 Ellie left and then never came back. The teacher sighed.

"Skyler go get those two."

Skyler nodded and got up. She walked to the nearest water fountain and almost screamed. Both Ellie and Rosie were dead. She ran back to the class room and went to the teacher. 

"Well? Where are the?" she asked.

"They're a little busy being dead." Skyler said urging her to follow.

Later NCIS was there and the school was being evacuated.

"Rosie is dead." Michel said sadly "she was my best friend."

Nattily was nowhere to be seen, which raised a few eyebrows for Skyler. Then, as they continued to talk. Nattily came out of the school. On a stretcher headed for the hospital.

"What happened?" they asked the police.

"Your friend was shot. Lucky to be alive, she is." he responded.

"Can you call us when she's recovered enough to come home?" Ruby asked handing him her phone number.

 "Sure. If she lives."
