Ruby looked at herself in the mirror. She liked the red suit and there was a spot on the helmet that she could pull her hair through. She pushed the embroidery around her  wrist. She immediately disappeared from sight. Ruby was pleased in the fact that she'd be the most useful in the group. She turned it off by pressing it again and walked into Jacob's bedroom; where Nattily and he wee finishing the last touches to her suit.

   "Try it know." Jacob instructed.

Nattily took a breath and slowly a strange blue mist came over her and she shrank back, slowly taking the form of a dog. When the transformation was complete, Nattily was a black German Shepard and she wagged her tail happily. As if to say 'Works great!'

Jacob smiled and patted her saying, "Finally, I guess there were to many straps on it."

 The dog  jumped up and slowly the same blue mist came over it and Nattily was human again. Ruby looked at the two of them, they looked like they enjoyed each others company. She wondered if they were starting something. Ruby didn't like it when something happened without her knowing or approval. She was always the head of the group, she was always in charge. Rodney came up behind her and whispered,

    "Someone is jealous."

She looked at him. "Who and about what?"

   He smiled smugly. "You are. Admit it your jealous because Nattily is in charge and your not."

She looked back at Jacob and Nattily. "Yeah, yeah I suppose your right."

  She walked off, leaving Rodney there all alone. He shrugged and walked in to the room.

   "Sup, guys?"

        "Nothing much, just working out the glitches in Nattily's suit." Jacob said standing up.

Nattily smiled and muttered something to Jacob then, left. Rodney looked at him.

    "You like her."

Jacob shook his head and followed Nattily out the door. She was watching Skyler; who's suit suited her perfectly. She was running around the room, picking up the couch occasionally with Ruby and Michel on it. All Nattily could do was laugh as they screamed.

    "At least we know her suit work." Michel laughed after Skyler calmed down.

"THIS IS SO COOL! LOOK AT ME! I AM HULK! NOTHING SHALL STOP ME!" Skyler laughed.

   Ruby looked at Michel. "What's your suit do?"

    He got up and crawled up the sides of the wall, then on to the ceiling.

"That," Ruby said starring. "that is cool."

   "How'd you make these so quick?" Rodney asked.

Jacob shrugged and said, "I had them for a while."

     He pushed a button on the are of his suit, sending out wings like an eagle. "I can fly so I'm awesome."

      Rodney looked at his suit. "What's mine do?"

Nattily smiled and threw a circuit board at him.  It would have easily hit him in the face but, instead, a purple force field formed around him. Not only blocking it but, also smashing it to pieces.

   "So everyone knows what their suits do?" Ruby asked.

"PIZZA IF IT A YES!"

  "PIZZA!' everyone shouted, everyone but, Ruby.

"Good, let's go."

   They'd already discussed what they were up against and how they were going to get there. There was a tunnel that lead from the 'surface', where normal people live out there lives, to the 'underground', where the monsters and other magical creatures lived. It wasn't guarded so they could walk right in. The only problem was coming back out. The thing was you can't get out the same way you got in. Unfortunately, that was the only know entrance and exit to our young heroes.

  They walked to an abandoned mineshaft near the edge of town. It was dark but, there was something about it. Something almost welcoming tp Ruby. She watched Nattily transform herself into a mole and go in. Then, Skyler jumped in after her, Rodney flexed the abs muscles and went in. Michel rolled his eyes and pressed a button; exposing dagger like claws and crawled in.

    Ruby wasn't known to have many feelings; or any for that matter. Usually, she just made sure everyone in her 'clan' stayed safe. Then Nattily came along, her whole world fell apart. Piece by tiny piece. She looked out at the field. At the flowers, at the trees, at the sun; witch was now just above the horizon. Her whole life had been a lie. She always said that 'she'd be fine' and 'I'm not afraid'. She had lied. Her whole life she had been terrified of everything. It was Skyler who kept her together, even though she never noticed. Always, she was terrified of something. She got used to being afraid. Now, she was mortified. 
  

    "May I see the light of day again." She whispered as she plunged herself into the darkness below.

       The rest of the group was already down, waiting at the bottom of the mine. Ruby had made a slow dissent, partly because of the unstable ledges that she used to climb down with. Nattily surveyed the scene. It wasn't gloomy but, it definitely wasn't welcoming either.

    "Zeesh! What happened here?" Skyler had asked when Nattily pointed at several broken skeletons.

      "Looks like a war broke out." Ruby stated, peering over Michel's shoulder.

 "It did, almost two thousand years ago." Nattily said, hurrying down the tunnel.

Jacob looked at her. Not only was she beautiful but, also well informed. He knew for a fact that she'd never except him. 'She disserves someone like Rodney; handsome, funny. She'd be happy with him.' he thought walking down the shaft warily. He looked at Michel 'Or maybe someone like him; strong, fast and always had an answer for anything. She'd enjoy them much better.'  His thoughts were broken when Nattily said,

    "Ryan was here." Picking up a white tuff of hair. "Its Ryan's, we're getting close."

Jacob felt like this was all to convenient. Walking through a tunnel and not being attacked and all. According to legions, there were secret guardians that made sure no one ever ventured far. He felt like something was admits. He was right.
